Timberline Glamping Lake Allatoona Reviews
We loved our stay at Timberland Glamping - Allatoona Lake. The tent is beautifully arranged. The bed and bedding are very comfortable and clean. Love the A/C and mini fridge, which made our stay in late Nov much more enjoyable. The bathhouse is bright, clean and warm. The camp site is serene and beautiful. The lake is just a short walk away from the camp site. There are plenty of dead wood to collect to set up a camp fire.We had four tents and just us and no other groups. There were no events happening at the campus. Thus, we had the place to just us and did not experience the noise issue other campers mentioned in their reviews. The host was very helpful. Accomdated our needs very thoughtfully! We really appreciate it.
Nov 25, 2024 · Peng L.We cannot say enough wonderful things about this unique place and our experience! We loved every minute of our stay and cannot wait to go back! The owner has thought of everything for you to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay! I also had a question, so I reached out to the owner and she got back to me immediately and was super accommodating. We were very impressed with the comfort of the tents, not to mention how cute they are decorated! Each tent has it's own fire pit and picnic table, but this place also has a big community fire pit and a small pavilion with tables. This helped accommodate our big group that was there together celebrating a special birthday. The bathhouse was by far the cleanest and nicest bathhouse that we have ever used. You can tell a lot of thought, effort, and love went into making this place very special!
May 12, 2024 · Ashley LyleThis is my second stay at a Timberline Glamping. The first time in Lake Blackshear and this second time in Allatoona. What I didn't like about this one was where the tents were located. There were 6 of them and we were kind of in a circle and there wasn't a very big space between each tent.Behind the tents there is a fence and behind it an event venue. There was a party on Saturday and the music could be heard until about 10:30.Also, the location of the tents I felt it was too close to one of the entrances facing the street. The beds and tents are comfortable and very nice.My tent #6 did not have a working heater but we were prepared for the cold at night so it was not a big inconvenience. The lake is beautiful and there is a trail to get there from the glamping site.We did not explore the other trails as we were with several younger children and needed to use the car to get there. The experience is nice and perhaps this place is better for family reunions where the 6 tents can be rented for more privacy. But overall, we had a good time and loved the comfort and glamping experience.
Oct 17, 2024 · Nadja CastilloTents are about 20 ft from neighbors. Sound travels really well. It's not quiet at all. Lots of sounds and music from events happening at the rental buildings that were really close, sounds from traffic coming in and out, could hear every conversation. When I think of camping, I think of nature, quiet, privacy. A wedding was happening the 2nd night and we just gave up and left. This one old lady kept smoking near the propane tank. Bridesmaids were taking up the bathroom. Boats kept honking. King bed did not have sheets, just a duvet. No grilling grate.
Oct 23, 2024 · Angie WeaverIt was absolutely wonderful stay! The kids loved it. The tent is very stylish, spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable. The area is well maintained, restrooms are clean. The lake views are captivating. The communication with the owner was very easy and we felt welcomed. Highly recommend.
