Riffe Lake Campground Reviews
We stayed at this lovely campground for 9 months while we were working in the area 😁 Managers are friendly and helpful, sites are spacious and the area has lots to do if you love the outdoors. 2 hours from Seattle or Portland and only an hour to Mt. Rainier or Mt St. Helen's.
Apr 09, 2025 · Heather HelferReserved a group site at this campground and it was great! Great customer service! Heidi was amazing! This campground felt very safe, amazing views, even saw some deer. The walk to the water isn’t too far and downhill. Campsites are so well maintained, the grass was so soft. Bathrooms were clean every time I went in. There’s a man that does security and makes sure quiet hours are enforced which is nice when trying to sleep. Plenty of room for 9 people and 5 cars at our site. Definitely will come back.
Jul 28, 2024 · Breanna GamesOkay place. The staff was very polite and they do a great job making it family friendly. The reason for the lower stars is accessing the lake with kayaks is difficult. You have to go down a very steep path. It's not realistic with a kayak. You have to access at a neighboring campground for $10. There was nothing in the website that clarified this. Had we known this we would have rethought our whole trip because we wanted easy access for my elderly parents to the lake. Also, the pictures are very touched up and don't really offer a realistic picture. The tents sites on the lower part of the hill are gorgeous. The RV area is cramped and noisy.
Aug 19, 2024 · Cindy HeickThere are lots of pets and kids at this campground. The office was open later than most and they were super friendly. The full hook up trailer spots were nice and deep. Our spot backed up to the trees so there was decent shade. Nice fire pit and picnic table. Wood for sale at the store. It’s close to two great places to fish. The kids liked the playground. The staff was great, especially the grounds manager who did rounds until 2am to make sure none of the camping groups got too rowdy.
Aug 15, 2024 · SHANNAStayed here for the first time last weekend. The host was very nice, the playground was great. They also had 2 tetherballs and horse shoes! Lake access was not bad. You have to walk a little trail to the lake. Overall we had a great time! Very clean!
