River Junction Campground and Canoeing Reviews
Be prepared for tubing fun. It takes a long time as the trip is approximately 5.2 miles and the speed depends on the river conditions. Our day the river was low and slow and took about 5 and a half hours. A faster trip is around 4. Also don't forget an extra tube just in case. They gave us a spare and we ended up needing it (which isn't usually the case).
Aug 01, 2021 · Steven CooperThis is a very nice family owned campground. Everyone are very friendly and helpful, and the facilities are well maintained. We camp next to the river for a night and rent a canoe the next morning. They drop us off at the Foster Falls entrance and we flow down the river right back at where we camped! Very fun and convenient! Would recommend and would like to come back again!
Aug 01, 2023 · Catherine ChiIt was the eighth year I have visited River Junction and it never disappoints. Beautiful views and the people that run the campground and shuttle services are such nice people. Especially Anthony’s Dad , can’t remember his name at the moment. But he’s such a nice guy to have a conversation with on the shuttle ride up river. Glad to see him every year still getting it.
