Greybull, WY 82426, USA

4.0
Great spot to escape into the Big Horns and enjoy up to 14 continuous days of camping. Most of the camping sites are next to the Creek, are spacious and easily accommodate a large RV or large tent. There are also a few tent only sites. The hosts keep the camp and it facilities very clean, are happy to help you if you need any assistance, and are fun to visit with when they aren't taking care of the campground. The Creek was well above it's normal flow levels when we visited, however, we were still able to find a few fishing holes where the brook trout were eager to entertain and give us and give us a nice addition to our campfire menu. - mojovoyager

One of the standout features of Shell Creek Campground is its prime location alongside Shell Creek. Many of the camping sites are conveniently situated next to the creek, providing a tranquil ambiance with the soothing sounds of flowing water. This proximity to the creek not only enhances the natural beauty of the campsites but also offers potential opportunities for fishing, as highlighted by one reviewer who enjoyed catching brook trout in the creek, even when the water levels were higher than usual.

The campsites themselves are described as spacious, easily accommodating large recreational vehicles (RVs) as well as large tents. This makes Shell Creek Campground a versatile option for various types of campers, whether you prefer the comfort of an RV or the traditional tent camping experience. Additionally, there are also a few designated tent-only sites available, catering specifically to those who prefer a more traditional setup.

Cleanliness and maintenance of the campground and its facilities are consistently praised in the reviews. The hosts are commended for keeping the camp "squeaky clean," indicating a high standard of hygiene and upkeep.
