One reviewer described a pleasant walk down the entrance road for over three miles, noting that the road was "tree lined" and offered a charming, almost nostalgic atmosphere, like "walking into the past." This suggests a setting with mature trees providing shade and scenic views. The fact that local residents passing by were friendly, waving and even offering a ride, speaks to the welcoming nature of the surrounding community and potentially the campground itself.
The services and features of Six Mile Creek Campground are highlighted through the positive experiences shared by visitors. One reviewer specifically commended the host, whose name they weren't entirely sure of but recalled as "The Hoste Anan," for being "very helpful and friendly." This host went above and beyond by answering questions and assisting the campers in moving to a location closer to the bathroom, demonstrating a commitment to guest comfort and convenience. This level of personalized assistance can significantly enhance a camping trip.

Six Mile Creek Reviews
The Hoste Anan (I'm not sure of the name) was very helpful and friendly answered our question and helped us move to a location close to the bathroom. The park was clean and we fell safe. We walked down the entrance road for over a 3 mile and the road was tree lined and was like walking into the past every one that past waved and obe stopped to ask we need a ride. We will be back and tell all of our frends.
Apr 07, 2025 · John LakeNice Corps Park. There had been fairly recent flooding, but most of area had been cleaned up.
Apr 19, 2025 · S ParkerRun down campground. Roads are broken. No cleaning going on. Would not recommend.
Apr 16, 2025 · Randall CalhounIt's a nice camp ground with showers, bathrooms, laundry room and playgrounds. The lots are maintained but not perfect. There is no docks on any of the lost and hard access to you boat if you feel like pulling it up on land. Although the campground is nice it could use keeping up a little better. There is no cellphone service at this park.
Apr 06, 2022 · Andrew BrooksWe were here for my wifes cousins birthday party. He turned 5 and we had the best time! The bathrooms were clean and the grounds were litter free! We had our 7 month old son with us and we played on the playground and he had the best time...only suggestion I have is to put a baby swing or 2 out there for the smaller babies. We swung with him in our laps but I think he would have had an even better time if he was sitting and we pushed him.
