Smith Point County Park Campground Reviews
Loved this campsite and beach! So beautiful. Also option to take a day trip driving on the beach.
Oct 27, 2024 · Miriam HartleyIt's a great place because it's at the beach. The amenities aren't up to par with other campgrounds if you're comparing that stuff but overall it's a great place.
Apr 25, 2025 · dustin geraghtyOff road is great on The beach. Stinks you can't have fireds anymore. Some people are pigs, leave trash everywhere, leave their fire mess everywhere. But it's a great place to be. Long Island has some of the most beautiful beaches for sure. Live bands at Beach Hut. Free parking after 5. Come on down
Aug 01, 2018 · HatchmanI love this place and it’s one of my favorite places to camp, however it’s impossible to get a site. People hunt the website for sites and continue to return all summer long making it very hard for others to get in even one trip for the season. There is consistently a maintenance crew roaming around, but a lot of trash behind sites. Also suggest testing your electrical outlet with your surge protector before plugging in as I’ve had an issue and they put us on an overflow site.Beautiful place with beautiful sunsets, but also super windy.
Sep 24, 2024 · Michele EWe stayed here 2 years ago and it was great. Deer come right up to you, the water's lovely as is the view. People are lovely too. I missed a turn and got stuck in the sand and they very cleverly let air of of my tires
