Snowdale Park Reviews
The park has a paved road, lots of shade and parking, updated playground and volleyball sand-court, a nice pavilion with picnic tables one can rent for events, a boat ramp, about 13 RV stations and just as many tent camping sites available with restrooms and shower rooms. The place is always clean and typically windy. The water has a foaming ring around the shoreline for some reason.

Oct 02, 2024 · Christy AllenMade for an exciting memorial day weekend. Set up friday and overnight was great. Then saturday came and nice enjoyable day with more family arriving. Then came saturday night. Had to flee the park to avoid the tornado that actually clipped the park. The group lost 2 latge tents, our pop up was relocated slightly and sustained slight damage, and one vehicle was struck by our flying metal table. Then upon returning we all got stuck do to the apparent massive rain that fell with the storm. Once clean up was made sunday we all continued with the weekend and enjoyed. No one was injured and damages were replacable. Thank GRDA for reopening this park and giving us a place to camp.
Jun 15, 2024 · stuart hortonI just used the boat ramp - the park itself is closed. I'm told Snowdale Park is now managed by the GRDA and will reopen late spring 2022. I liked the gentle put-in for kayaks near the boat ramp with ample parking nearby. However, there are no restrooms or facilities until the park reopens.
Feb 23, 2022 · Donna RoleyVery nice campground. Very popular. I've seen a lot of local people come out with their children to enjoy the Park. Camp spots are to close together. Showers and bathrooms are nice.I plan on returning again.
