Smokey Valley Campground1 Reviews
Cold and clear water at a lovely location. We will be back. It was only $6 a person to swim for the day. You do have a bit of a walk down to the water, depending on where you park.
Jul 02, 2024 · Stormy StormsThis is my favorite spot the water is cool and clear the camping grounds and well taken care of bathrooms are clean just a beautiful place to escape from everyday life
Sep 23, 2024 · Mickey LittleThis is a nice place to swim in a clear spring river/creek. It’s not deep in most places. Campground is a bit rugged. No shower facilities seen but there are outhouses supplied with toilet paper. You MUST take your trash out. This is a family run property. Show respect! You can metal detect here with permission from the office but you cannot take artifacts. You can rent flotation devices for the water.
Jun 20, 2023 · Traveling OkiesGet Your Creek OnThis privately owned campground is an Ozark valley treasure. It's located alongside a springfed stream that's clear, refreshing, and full of life. The grounds are well kept. Picnic tables, BBQ grills, bathrooms, and homemade signs are everywhere. There's even some playground equipment. The property borders public Corps of Engineer lands making downstream day-trips a must. There are so many great places to stop, relax, swim, fish, and behold. This is a primitive campground with no showers, electrical or water hookups. Fees are per person, per day. No extra fees for RVs. Pack it in - Pack it out. NO GLASS bottles signs are posted throughout. They are serious. The valley and stream bring a chill to the night here, bring, buy, or gather firewood. Don't forget the hoodie.
