Snowshoe Campground Reviews
Very nice, clean, quiet campground. Plenty of room on sites. Facilities are nice. Lots of tent sites on the creek. Easy to get in & out of. Thankfully they had good Wi-Fi, there is limited cell service in the area.
Jul 01, 2024 · M TSimply put, we are impressed. The bathhouse is great! I had comfort knowing I had the privacy of a shower/toilet unit to myself. Utility hookups are housed in a unit with key code entry to allow for convenient check in/set up. Laundry facility and community propane grill for use if needed. Security cameras on site. Best of all it’s located right across from the Raven golf course at the base of Snowshoe Mountain! The only thing I was missing is a designated nature walking trail for my dogs, but I have faith that these things will be coming soon! Very pleased!
Jul 25, 2023 · Tammy BraleyGreat campground.quiet and beautiful. Bathrooms extremely clean, and you have the whole bathroom for yourself.very nice and very private.one of the best campground I have seen.
Jun 17, 2024 · Emil FournierPulled into the campground. First of all. There is no sign saying where this place is to check in. The sign to the place is blocked by trees from the road. Second, they state it as full hookup. All of the dumps are higher then your hookups. Liquid doesn't run up hill. Third, thank God the worker was doing laundry or we wouldn't have any idea where to go to check in or what site we would be at. For $60/night you would think you would get what they state online. Last, but not least, the "cooking" fire pit is so high off the ground you can't even use it for cooking! Maybe I'm extra irritated from driving multiple hours today but at this moment I'm so disappointed!
Oct 30, 2024 · Rando GrenadoThis place was fantastic. Had to stay in an RV site the first night but then switched to a tent site the following night. It was surprisingly empty- although I guess it was the beginning on the season and a Sunday night...The laundry room was a very nice amenity considering that mountain bikers WILL have dirty laundry that they will likely need clean for consecutive rides. The individual shower stalls were beautiful. The close proximity to Snowshoe was perfect for what we were looking for in a campground. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this campground to mountain bikers looking for some gravity trails.
