Sugar Creek Glen Campground Reviews
I've camped here a few times with my family and this is such a lovely campground. You'll have a mix of seasonal campers, and then weekend/daily campers who come in. RV sites for non-seasonal campers are all very nice, with water and electric hookup, and there's guest wifi to use for free (you have to sign in each time). My kids love the creek and waterfalls, and we enjoy visiting with familiar faces. The owners are lovely people who are very helpful to newbie RV owners. I can't say enough nice things about this campground without sounding completely corny!
Nov 12, 2024 · Julie CI have been camping at Sugar Creek Glen since the early 80s . We still continue to ho every year. It’s so beautiful. The owners are great! There is always something to do. The waterfalls are amazing. Great place to camp . Highly recommended.
Oct 29, 2024 · Kim SSugar Creek Glen is a true gem! I had a creek-side tent site. It was a great site. The grounds are clean and well maintained. Quiet hours were observed by all. No one was obnoxious. As a matter of fact, I didn't run into a single rude person the entire time I was there. Everyone was very friendly. They even had live music Saturday night, which was great! The creek hike is fabulous! There are so many waterfalls and swimming holes. There's also a rope next to the waterfall that seems like the end of the hike. If you're brave and climb up it, the creek seems to go on forever! The camp store is very convenient. They have wood available 24/7 for an affordable price. No need to bring any! I can't wait to go back! This is a fantastic family camp ground. ❤️
Jun 25, 2024 · Jennifer CooledgeWe stayed a week, and it was still too short! The owners and seasonal campers were more than accommodating to us "weekenders"! The owner himself even offered to help me down the stairs a few times. We're planning on making this trip a tradition in our family!!!
Oct 07, 2024 · Tammy JonesAs first time visitors from Canada, Sugar Creek Glen was a lovely campground with very friendly people. The waterfalls and creek were fantastic and surprisingly not crowded. We stayed in site 75 with our 5th wheel which had a rocky ground (as advertised) and was very hard on our feet. Even for our dogs. If they crushed the rocks, it would be much more enjoyable. There were also little bugs/flies that were annoying so we’ll try a grass foundation on our next visit to see if that works better for us.Overall, very good experience and we really enjoyed ourselves. Look forward to visiting again!
