Sutherlin / Umpqua Valley KOA Holiday Reviews
A great place to camp for a few nights. It was clean, and the hosts were friendly. We saw the last few minutes of a movie when we came, but unfortunately, our timing didn’t give us the opportunity to see one the following night. No pool here, and not a ton to do, but it was a safe place to camp. The sites were adequate, and the patios with privacy fences, tables, and chairs were nice. The dog areas were fine and kept clean. Sprinklers kept the grass and plants green. The one main bathroom was clean and kept in order, and the showers were roomy and useful. The little store had necessities and a few cute souvenirs. Prices were as expected (a little higher than out in town, but not extreme). The free popcorn was a fun treat! The kitchen and game rooms were nicely decorated and clean, too. All in all, a cute little campground to stay at while traveling in the area.
Jul 30, 2024 · Sonja GardnerNice and quiet KOA. Lots of pull through sites and they all seemed to have patios, and as you can see dog approved. They have a larger than most play field for kids with a playground and Frisbee Golf. There is a larger than normal off leash pet area that is long enough to play fetch. The most unique feature was the GIANT out door drive up style movie screen. There is laundry in the office and restrooms, which are decent, but look ready for remodel.
Sep 08, 2024 · KOI PondUnique park with a drive-in style movie screen. They have a lawn area to enjoy the movies. Show times vary with the season. They are upgrading the electrical system and the sites. Very attractive place to stay.
Mar 11, 2025 · Rick PayneAbsolutely loved this place, staff are incredible. As a disabled person I found them very accommodating and helpful wherever possible. They have both campsites and a couple Air b&b cabins/mobiles and all the front rows where I stayed had fantastic little patios designed with the perfect angle for watching the movies and sitting by a campfire. They provide fire rings and propane tanks. It does list frisbee golf as if it has a course, I think it has 2 holes it is not much and was a little disappointing as I feel they have the space to put in a decent course which would help with more activity - I've only ever seen it at one other campground and it was a good draw. The star of the show though has to be the resurrected drive-in movie screen with the updated digital screen which is incredible picture looks crystal clear in person! What a blast of nostalgia and to be able to do at a campground is a real treat. I'm a bit of an aficionado of drive-ins I've been to them all over the western US and Canada as well as some back in eastern Canada, I make a point to go to them all over while traveling. They all have something special in my opinion but there really is something pure bliss nostalgia about sitting at the drive in theater while camping and eating s'mores by the fire 👌I will definitely be back, hopefully a few times
May 23, 2023 · James WalkerWonderful location with impressive management couple. The really nice thing was the trick or treat activity for young campers. The movie screen and outdoor area with seating and fire pits very well done.
