Leeman Field RV Park and Campground Reviews
Though we only stayed here as a stopover on our way home to Maryland, it was a really nice little park. Clean, great long pull-through site (#4), with full hook-ups. Level too, so we didn't have to unhitch, which was perfect! Quiet neighbors, and a very active sports/community/fairgrounds/park made it an interesting place with beautiful scenery too!
Apr 23, 2023 · Rick SussmanFantastic place for children and riding bikes. A paved bike trail through a disc golf course right to the parking lot of the Food Lion.
Mar 18, 2024 · Dru BrookmanNice park! Hidden gem nestled in the valley, surrounded by mountains. I have been visiting the area for nearly 20 years and only discovered this park 2 weeks ago. Although not spectacular in regards to facilities, the simplicity and geographic beauty of the park make it a very pleasant experience. The park has a campground, picnic areas, playgrounds, baseball facilities and a pool. However, my favorite park feature is the paved walking/bike path which follows along the river. My partner and I love to walk the path, which includes a nice bridge to cross the river. Today was my second visit during vacation to the area. After now finding this great "hidden gem" of a park, I will certainly visit again when vacationing in the area!
Apr 01, 2021 · Alan HarlowWe love staying at Leeman Field. It’s close to home to still a nice get away. It’s always very clean and there is lots for the kids to do. Our only complaint is the water pressure is really bad.
Apr 13, 2024 · Tyler HeltonGreat find. Small campground that is big rig friendly. Very well maintained. Only disadvantage is the office is not onsite. Checked in on phone, set up and then went to city hall to make payment. Very reasonable.
