taylors lost haven campground Reviews
Maiden voyage for our new camper. Was a great place for that.Owners were very nice and helpful. This is not a brand new facility, yet the shower/ bathrooms were very clean and everything functions well.Quite a few seasonal and the few we talked to were great. Go for a walk and lots of people wave their hello's.Nice playground for kids.I was baffled as to why there were empty spots. We will be back.
Jul 29, 2024 · Bruce PrevostReally enjoyed our stay there. Nice and peaceful. Never really talked to the owners but gentleman was eager to answer question when I attempted to go to store. Large lots. Could not get water hookup to stop leaking how ever. Lot of seasonal campers there that were friendly.
Aug 05, 2021 · Steve ChippWe camped there for the first time over Memorial Day weekend. After reading some of the reviews we were hesitant. I'm glad we didn't listen to those reviews. The owners were very nice people, especially the gentleman. Yes, there are a good amount of seasonal campers. We met 5 or 6 of them during our 4 day stay. Most of them came over and introduced themselves. Every single one was pleasant and friendly. We had a blast catching fish from their pond! We will definitely be back to visit again.
May 31, 2024 · Kristy HortonNice and quiet. Sites are only about 20 feet wide by 60 feet deep. Not a lot of room left when you have a travel trailer. Tents would be better here. Very affordable rates. Pike can be caught in the pond. Playgrounds and pavilion available. A mini horse, Steve the goat and a couple of pigs for petting and feeding. Small campground but that just makes it less noisy and hectic.
Jun 09, 2019 · Cheryl McFadden (Cherylaine)Thought this was great spot at first… First off the rates even for weekdays are more expensive then any other place I’ve ever camped at. The pond was really green and not really suitable for swimming even though they have a beach area. We had to deal with people complaining about us and our guest for doing 6mph in a 5mph road, campers there literally run down the road to tell you to slow down! If your not 50 or older I don’t recommend going to this retirement like community campground. The husband was a good guy and tried to make up for his wife’s rudeness and attitude to all guests, but it still fell short. Better off parking on the side of the road and camping instead of staying here!!!
