Based on available customer reviews, this resort, identified as one of the "nicest parks Outdoor Adventure has," provides a range of features and a welcoming atmosphere that caters particularly to RV travelers and those interested in cabin rentals.
The environment of Mount Pleasant Resort, while not described in extensive detail, is characterized as having a "nice atmosphere." One reviewer noted the presence of a "diet road" leading to the park, cautioning about dust, which is a practical consideration for local users planning their visit, especially during drier periods. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall impression of the resort's environment is positive. Being situated in Mt Pleasant, Michigan, it is likely that the resort benefits from the natural beauty of the region, potentially featuring scenic landscapes and a peaceful setting conducive to relaxation. The mention of "nice size sites and long pull thru's for towers trailer" suggests a spacious layout designed to accommodate larger RVs comfortably, indicating thoughtful planning for RV enthusiasts seeking "camping near me" with ample space.
In terms of services, Mount Pleasant Resort stands out for offering "all full hookup and 50 Amp" RV sites. This is a significant advantage for RV travelers as it provides essential utilities such as electricity (including higher amperage for more demanding appliances), water, and sewer connections directly at the campsite. This feature enhances convenience and comfort for those exploring the area with their recreational vehicles. Additionally, the availability of "cabin rentals," which were noted to be "very clean" in multiple instances, provides an alternative lodging option for local users who prefer a more structured and comfortable stay than traditional tent camping. The positive feedback regarding "friendly staff" suggests a commitment to hospitality and customer service, ensuring a pleasant experience for all guests. While specific details about other amenities are limited, the association with "Outdoor Adventures" might imply access to a broader network of facilities or potential membership benefits, though this requires direct verification with the resort.
The features of Mount Pleasant Resort, gleaned from the reviews, include its well-appointed RV sites with full hookups and 50 Amp service, making it a prime choice for RVers looking for "camping near me" with excellent infrastructure. The availability of clean and well-maintained cabin rentals caters to a different segment of local users seeking comfortable lodging in a natural setting. The resort is also described as "smaller" and "very quiet," suggesting a more intimate and peaceful camping experience compared to larger, more bustling campgrounds. The observation of an "older crowd" and many people staying for "long periods of time" further reinforces the image of a tranquil and potentially community-oriented environment. While a former shuttle service to a casino is no longer available, this past amenity indicates that the resort may have, at one point, offered additional recreational opportunities or conveniences. The mention of "decent size" lots, with one reviewer highlighting the "biggest lot size in the whole campground," suggests that space and privacy are generally well-regarded features of the resort. For local users prioritizing quiet, well-equipped sites and clean cabin options, Mount Pleasant Resort appears to offer attractive features.

Mount Pleasant Resort Reviews
Probably one of the nicest parks Outdoor Adventure has. All full hookup and 50 Amp. Nice size sites and long pull thru's for towers trailer. We are here before the 'season' started so nothing really open for activities, but nice atmosphere and friendly staff. ⚠️, the road to the park is about 1/2 mile of diet road, very dusty!!!
May 02, 2025 · Denene SmithWe've been to this campground a few times, definitely one of the nicest Outdoor Adventures. We like that it's smaller. It's a very quite campground, older crowd for sure but that's okay. Many people stay for long periods of time. Wish their was still a shuttle for the casino. We are just under a 3 hour drive so we don't go to this campground often but if it was closer we would definitely frequent more often. We were on the biggest lot size in the whole campground. Most are a decent size, especially for an Outdoor Adventures. We also rented a cabin this last trip, rented one last year as well. Both times the cabins were very clean. We lucked out this year and were able to get into the cabin early. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Oct 23, 2024 · Robert kirkpatrickI stayed here with my inlaws and it was amazing. So much for the kids to do, very safe and organized. Mr. Bailey is the manager and he was very professional and made sure we had anything we needed! Highly recommend this camp ground!
