Based on customer reviews, the environment at Texas Music River Ranch is a significant part of its appeal. One visitor described their camping experience as "amazing and unforgettable," particularly highlighting the river access and the availability of floaties. This suggests that the campground is situated along a river suitable for recreational activities like swimming and floating. The presence of a "picnic zone" further indicates that the area is equipped for outdoor enjoyment and relaxation by the water. For families camping with children, as mentioned in one review, the river and floaties can be a major attraction, providing hours of fun and entertainment.
The campground also features a "VIP zone," where one reviewer stayed with children in June. This suggests that Texas Music River Ranch might offer different tiers or sections for camping, with the VIP zone potentially providing enhanced amenities or a more favorable location within the property. The mention of "restrooms with showers" in this zone is a crucial piece of information, indicating the availability of essential facilities for campers in at least this area of the ranch. It's worth noting that one review explicitly advises campers to "bring your own water," implying that potable water might not be readily available at all campsites or that it's recommended to be self-sufficient in this regard.
A distinctive feature of Texas Music River Ranch, as clearly stated in its name and reinforced by a customer review, is its identity as a "music ranch." This means that music is an integral part of the experience. While one reviewer thoroughly enjoyed this aspect, they also wisely advised potential visitors to "check to be sure there are no events during your planned stay if music bothers you." This highlights the importance of understanding the campground's event schedule if you are seeking a quiet and purely nature-focused camping trip. For those who appreciate live music and a vibrant atmosphere, this could be a significant draw, offering entertainment right at their campsite.
One particularly insightful review from a long-term traveler offered a unique perspective, describing the land as having a "heartbeat and an ancient soul," and praising its generosity, forgiveness, patience, and kindness. This suggests that the environment at Texas Music River Ranch has a special, perhaps even spiritual, quality for some visitors. The reviewer also emphasized the importance of respecting and caring for the land, aligning with the "leave it better than you left it/no trace" principle mentioned in another review. This indicates a strong ethos of environmental responsibility encouraged at the campground.
The owner of the land, identified as Geronimo, received high praise in the same review, being described as "generous, selfless, kind, compassionate, forgiving, and blessed." This personal commendation speaks to the hospitality and welcoming nature that campers might experience at Texas Music River Ranch. The reviewer expressed pride in calling him "brother" and conveyed deep gratitude for the stay. This personal touch can significantly enhance the camping experience, making visitors feel more like guests than just customers.
Considering the available information, Texas Music River Ranch offers a unique blend of natural beauty and a musical atmosphere for those "camping near me." Its key features include river access with opportunities for floating, a picnic zone for outdoor meals, and at least one VIP camping area with restrooms and showers. The musical aspect is a defining characteristic, which could be a major attraction for some and a point of consideration for others depending on their preferences and the event schedule. The emphasis on respecting the land and the positive comments about the owner suggest a welcoming and environmentally conscious environment.
Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the reviews. However, the existence of a VIP zone might imply different pricing tiers or enhanced amenities for that area. Local users interested in potential promotions or discounts, especially for families or longer stays, would need to contact Texas Music River Ranch directly using the provided phone numbers. Inquiring about any upcoming musical events and the typical noise levels would also be prudent for those sensitive to music during their camping trip.
For local users seeking a "camping near me" experience that goes beyond the traditional quiet nature retreat, Texas Music River Ranch in Webberville offers a distinctive option. The combination of river access, family-friendly amenities in the VIP zone, and its identity as a music ranch creates a unique camping environment. Texas Music River Ranch Reviews
I loved camping on this site! An amazing experience and unforgettable. We were camping with kids in June, at the VIP zone. The river, the floaties, a picnic zone and the restrooms with showers. I would visit again!
Oct 22, 2023 · Maricela LorBring your own water! Leave it better than you left it/no trace. As it states in the title it is a music ranch, so if music bothers you, check to be sure there are no events during your planned stay. We enjoyed it thoroughly. My nomadic pathway as a shamanic healer led me to this land and I was blessed to be able to stay here to rest for a short time after traveling for months. This land has a heartbeat and an ancient soul, and she's generous, forgiving, patient, kind, and sees all-watches all. You must respect her and care for her as well as protect her. The owner of the land is generous, selfless, kind, compassionate, forgiving, and blessed, and we're incredibly proud to call this man brother. Geronimo, thank you for your love and generosity during our stay with you. We're currently off grid with no phone lines, but as always we have our own ways to communicate. Much love and gratitude to you and your tribe. Your sisters are still here for you and will never stop sending love and healing energies to you and your tribe.
Oct 12, 2024 · Sonya W.My family and I were looking for a place to spend the night with the kids before continuing our trip. We went to another place, where we had a bad experience, but I decided to call this establishment to check availability. I was treated exceptionally well. Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay the night here, but we will definitely come back. Places that provide great service deserve to be recognized!
Oct 14, 2024 · Josy APOne of the best places ever definitely 👌 The owner of the property gave me a chance to go in the property just to relax a little from a far drive without reservation 👌👌 bc i didnt know you had to make one so I just came but he was kind enough to let me in and look at it and it's the best, it says swim at your own risk and I did ít the best thing ever 😂
Oct 01, 2024 · Sebastian CandiaWe camped here in mid October. It was our first camping trip with our 3 year old, and we wanted something close to Austin just in case we had to bail. Only 20 minutes out, but felt like the middle of nowhere! Our camp site had a picnic table, fire pit and plenty of space to set up tent and park alongside. Big, beautiful trees, river front access and open fields to fly our kite as well. The owners stopped through a couple of times a day to make sure we had no questions, drop off fire wood etc. Getting in was a bit confusing, as our call wasn't answered right away and it feels like you're about to trespass. After we got settled in, we really enjoyed our time here. The bathroom access was not for the faint of heart, so we might bring our own setup next time.
