This park is broken. The electrical is so broken that they only have 29 sites available.TT in California is an actual disaster... every single park in Northern California is seriously dilapidated and it's concerning bc they just keep pushing and pushing memberships with no capacity. San Benito, permanently broken, Morgan Hill, half the sites are closed for electric, Russian River, many broken sites and no bathrooms, Turtle Beach, many sites broken. This is not even addressing the seriously disgusting rigs they allow in these parks.... there are actual burnt out rigs, mice infested rigs and rigs that look like meth labs. This is fraud, disgusting and absolutely ridiculous. - Ms Q

An objective assessment of Thousand Trails Ponderosa must also address customer feedback, which offers a varied perspective on the park. One review critically states, "This park is broken. The electrical is so broken that they only have 29 sites available." This specific complaint about electrical issues and limited site availability is echoed in a broader critique of Thousand Trails parks in Northern California: "TT in California is an actual disaster... every single park in Northern California is seriously dilapidated and it's concerning bc they just keep pushing and pushing memberships with no capacity." This reviewer further details issues at other parks (San Benito, Morgan Hill, Russian River, Turtle Beach) and expresses strong dissatisfaction with the condition of some rigs allowed in the parks, describing them as "disgusting" and even mentioning "burnt out rigs, mice infested rigs and rigs that look like meth labs," leading to a conclusion of "fraud, disgusting and absolutely ridiculous." This feedback points to significant concerns regarding infrastructure maintenance, site availability, and overall park quality, potentially impacting the camping experience for those seeking reliable "Camping Near Me" options. Such strong negative sentiments from multiple perspectives within the same review suggest a systemic issue for this particular user. However, a contrasting review offers a positive perspective: "Tania was so very helpful, and made booking our stay so easy!! Love love this place! The staff are amazing." This highlights positive interactions with staff and satisfaction with the booking process, indicating that aspects of customer service are well-regarded by some visitors. The disparity in reviews suggests that while the park has fundamental issues according to some, positive experiences with staff or specific aspects of the park can still occur. Prospective campers should take these varying experiences into account and consider directly contacting the park to confirm current conditions, especially regarding site availability and operational status of amenities, to ensure it meets their specific needs and expectations for a "Camping Near Me" destination.
