Turlo Campground Reviews
Cute little federal campground that's on the river and along a beautiful highway. We've stayed twice in sites 3 and 18, a few years apart. Pictures posted are from site 18 for Labor Day Weekend, 2024. Site 3 has decent shade when we stayed in, I believe, 2022, but site 18 is open to the sun, so it was a touch toasty for our stay. Campsites have heavy-duty picnic tables, fire pits and a level gravel platform for pitching tents. There is no water or power to the sites, but water spigots are around the campground. They have 2 pit toilets and garbage bins. A small, convenient store is just up the road for any last-minute grabs, including ice. Overall, this is a cute, rustic campground in a beautiful setting.
Sep 03, 2024 · PNW NikkiBest campground I've been to. Quiet and cozy, completely surrounded by forest, directly beside a river. You can hear the river rushing from all campsites and each site has a designated area for your tent with level ground. Sites are pretty private. Super friendly host that gave us lighter fluid and kindling for free, and jumpstarted our car. Pet friendly and the bathrooms were decent, non flushing but well kept as far as campsite bathrooms go. Affordable pricing as well. If you want to be surrounded by nature this is the place to go.
Jun 22, 2023 · Moss Blakethis is my absolute favorite campground on the mountain loop. lots of riverside sites, has running potable water and toilets. you have to male your reservation as soon as they open or by day 2 all the weekend spots will be reserved.
Jun 05, 2023 · Krystal VanwinkleI like this place because it's quite, clean, it's by the river #13 site is next to the restroom an across the river #14 is by the river and the road is great going there. But this place don't have any showers and electricity hook up. My CAT Battery band died on me after 2 1/2 days and I can't charge my medical device. So you need to make sure that you have a back up Battery so now I got one.
May 24, 2021 · Lilynor P.Great campground! Sites are spaced from each other, elevated tent platforms and fire pits at each site. 2 bathrooms and trash cans on site. Would stay again!
