Based on feedback from fellow campers, Red Bridge Campground is a highly recommended destination, particularly if you are seeking a tranquil environment. Many reviewers highlight the peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. For those prioritizing quiet, it's advisable to choose a campsite away from the road, with spots 5 through 8 frequently mentioned as being particularly desirable. These locations offer a short walk to the river, where you can find areas suitable for swimming, adding a refreshing element to your camping trip.
One notable feature of Red Bridge Campground is the limited to non-existent cell phone service. This allows for a true digital detox, encouraging you to fully embrace the natural surroundings. While the restroom facilities consist of vaulted toilets, previous visitors have noted that they are kept clean, which contributes positively to the overall experience. The cleanliness of the campground, in general, is a recurring positive point in the reviews, indicating a well-maintained environment for guests to enjoy.
The campground offers both single and double camping spots, catering to various group sizes. Even when fully booked, visitors have commented that the layout of the campsites provides a sense of personal space, preventing the feeling of being too crowded. This thoughtful arrangement enhances the overall comfort and enjoyment of your stay. For those who appreciate the soothing sounds of nature, the nearby river provides a constant, gentle white noise throughout the day and night.
Depending on your chosen campsite, you might find additional perks. For example, some spots have trees suitable for hanging a hammock, perfect for lounging and enjoying the peaceful ambiance. One reviewer specifically mentioned campsite number 4 for its hammock-friendly trees, while noting that the adjacent site offered both trees and direct access to the river. This highlights the importance of selecting your spot carefully based on your preferences.
It's worth noting that Red Bridge Campground is described as a "nice enough for regular time in the woods" experience, rather than a "glamping" destination. This suggests a more traditional camping experience focused on nature and simplicity. If you are looking for high-end amenities, this might not be the place for you. However, if your priority is a clean, relaxing, and naturally beautiful setting for camping, Red Bridge Campground appears to be an excellent choice within the "camping near me" category.
In summary, Red Bridge Campground offers local users a fantastic opportunity to immerse themselves in nature. Its key features include:

Red Bridge Campground Reviews
This campground is our absolute favorite! I would recommend picking a spot not near the road. The best spots are 5-8. Short walk to the river which is swim able in spots. There is zero cell phone service and the 'bathroom' is a vaulted toilet which really wasn't so bad. The campground is kept very clean which was nice. This place is quite lovely and very relaxing. We stayed in spot 8 which was wonderful.
Jul 25, 2023 · Stephanie FarnsworthWe've been here several times. They have single and double camping spots. Campsite was clean and while the whole campground was booked it didn't feel like we were right on top of one another. There is a glorified hole in the ground for when nature calls and the river provides white noise all day and night. Our spot had trees for a hammock (number 4) but I think the next one over had both trees and direct river access, so choose your spot carefully.Overall nice enough for regular time in the woods, but nothing too fancy if you're out to glamp.
Jun 03, 2021 · Dave HebererNice campsite next to the river, if you're wondering where that mine is, it's right across from the entrance and to the left, the bigger pit toilet is less smelly and there's a lot of privacy
Jul 18, 2021 · Sean DustmanA good place to stop at and see the area.Easy to see the Stillaguamish River. You can see the red bridge from the side of the river.Picnic tables and some with view of StillaquamishGood restrooms.Good campsites.
Sep 27, 2018 · Robert AlbergNice, quiet, clean and clean out houses. Great friendly park hosts take care of all the campgrounds in the area but they are not based in this campground. We did see them 2 or 3 times a day. Fair River access but no potable water on site and no RV dump. We plan to return next season, perhaps as backup park hosts. Good website pics and dimensions. Reservations highly recommended.
