Additionally, Triangle Recreation Camps frequently provide amenities beyond basic camping needs, such as laundry facilities, dump stations for RVs, and potentially even a camp store for essential supplies and snacks. Given its recreational focus, the campground may also offer designated parking areas and well-maintained pathways throughout the facility.
What truly distinguishes Triangle Recreation Camp are its diverse features and the wide array of activities it often supports. A key feature is the presence of various recreational facilities. These can include sports fields for activities like softball, volleyball, and soccer; basketball courts; playgrounds for children; and sometimes even swimming pools or splash pads. Nature trails for hiking and biking are also commonly found, allowing visitors to explore the natural surroundings. Many Triangle Recreation Camps are designed to accommodate group camping and events, offering larger group campsites, picnic pavilions, and sometimes even indoor meeting spaces or recreation halls. The presence of dedicated staff to oversee these activities and maintain the facilities is another distinguishing feature. The emphasis on creating a community-oriented camping experience, where families and groups can interact and participate in activities together, sets Triangle Recreation Camp apart from more secluded, nature-centric campgrounds. Triangle Recreation Camp Reviews
Absolutely amazing! A beautiful place to stay and not have a single worry about weird prejudice or harassment.Tent sites surround shared fire pits and picnic tables, covered by tarps overhead. On site portable restrooms with handwashing stations were pleasantly clean and tidy. There isn't running water at the tent sites, but that's not an issue for me. Firewood is available on site at a generous price for the volume of fuel you're getting. Everett is a short drive away if you need supplies, and nearby Verlot has a small store in case you forget something.During my July stay the bugs were out in force, so I heavily suggest bringing some competent insect repellent- save yourself a few bites. Some of the tent sites are on the smaller side (not a complaint) so be sure to book a site that states it can accommodate a large tent if you plan on using one.Super well maintained, comfortable trails, an amazing beach on the river (ice cold snow melt- but such an invigorating swim!)Every long term member I ran into was incredibly welcoming and informative. My partners and I will definitely be returning since we're in love with TRC!
Aug 01, 2021 · Kris DelgerIt has great sites overlooking the river and is a great place for the lgbt community to commune. It however doesn’t have showers so if you can’t handle being dirty keep that in mind and go to a state park.
Sep 05, 2018 · ReineWent labor day weekend for festivities and I have not had a better time in a really long time. All the gentlemen were sweethearts, everyone welcomes each other with open arms, helps each other have an awesome time and makes sure everyone enjoys themselves
Sep 05, 2022 · Dustin HandThis is such a nice place to go camping. The events are nice as well. The gay camp grounds have a lot of friendly people that work there and help when they can. From what I have seen they do a lot of work to make sure all the people that come out are happy. My husband, our dog and I always love going out there to just get away from the city and relax for a weekend.

We had a great time there and nothing to complain about. We really met heartwarming People they gave us a feeling like welcoming friends.Sadly we had to leave after just two nights due to our own planning.
