Waterfall Sanctuary Reviews
Lovely family running a business on a beautiful land. We rented a tent 🏕 on Hipcamp and everything was setup comfortingly and clean in the tent. Beds are comfy and there’s even a heater. We did use it overnight as temps dipped into low 40s, still early season here. The goats and ducks and chickens were so fun to pet and observe. Would love to come back.
May 21, 2022 · Karolis KaraleviciusThis is a wonderful location for a relaxed outdoor experience. Our family is from the Midwest and enjoyed the the unique scenery of Forest, Lakes & Rivers. We walked the trails several times and plan to return again as often as possible. Also liked the choices of Tents, Dome or Cabin. Had fun seeing the Goats and Feathered Friends and appreciate the good service. Thank you!! /;)
Jul 14, 2024 · LadyWillow LynnJTyla has a heart of gold, and has poured so much into making a beautiful piece of property so amazing!!! Nestled in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge Wilderness, Waterfall Sanctuary is a place of peace, wellness, and healing in the most beautiful of natural settings. It was suggested by a friend, and after venturing out to their place, I was greeted with hospitality, even meeting her family. The hostess Tyla and her family are warm, friendly, thoughtful, and it was a true pleasure when venturing out to their little slice of serenity in nature. Thank you for building your dream, and sharing it with others!
Jul 15, 2024 · Sean TolanStayed a weekend in Tyla's tiny cabin this summer, nice and cozy for a couple who are ok with no power (other than solar lights) or running water (few gallon container on bedside table) while sleeping in the woods semi comfortably. It's a short drive up past the driveway entrance that ends on a tight dirt road (truck/subaru friendly), with no room to turn around once you get in to the trailhead up to the cabin you should be comfortable driving in reverse and ok with the possibility of a couple of scratches. The alternate parking spots below are a short walk up, past the outhouse and shower, to the cabin trail. There is a picnic table and a small fire pit, but by mid summer outdoor fires may be prohibited. We bought a cast iron pan and cooked on the campfire, but they have a common cooking area down below, past the tents. Views of the forest and hills from the cabin were very relaxing and it was great stargazing from bed. There are campgrounds nearby on the wind river along with a state fish hatchery, and you are close enough to bathe at the hot springs in Carson and it's a quick crossing from there over the Columbia river to Hood River Oregon for windsurfing or wine tasting.
Aug 30, 2022 · Peter Galando (Pete)Unprofessional and extremely rude. I’ve only talked to one person from here and they were actively judging people then when asked to not told me I was triggered along with a huge rant about how I need to talk to a therapist. Tyla should not be in this field of work at all.
