Wild Plumas Resort and Campground Introduce
Looking for exceptional "camping near me"? Wild Plumas Resort and Campground, located at 1323 Greenville Wolf Creek Rd, Greenville, CA 95947, USA, offers a unique and beautiful camping experience that goes beyond the traditional. Based on glowing reviews from recent visitors, this resort provides a tranquil and well-appointed environment perfect for families, couples, and anyone seeking a refreshing escape into nature.
One of the standout features of Wild Plumas Resort is its unique accommodations. Guests have raved about the teepees, which are described as being set up with comfortable beds, with some even including a couch or a second bed. This offers a distinctive and comfortable alternative to traditional tent camping, blending the outdoor experience with some of the comforts of home. The areas surrounding the teepees are equally well-equipped, often featuring a fire pit, chairs, and even a kitchen setup, making it easy for guests to relax and enjoy outdoor cooking.
The natural environment of Wild Plumas Resort is consistently praised. The campground is nestled among beautiful trees, creating sites that feel private and peaceful. Visitors have noted that the spacing between campsites is such that you can enjoy your own space without being disturbed by neighbors. This sense of seclusion enhances the overall experience, allowing for a truly immersive connection with nature.
A significant highlight of the resort is its access to a stream, which is described as having swimming holes and comfortable spots to place a chair and unwind by the water. The sound of the creek, especially for those whose tents are situated right next to it, adds to the peaceful ambiance. One guest who stayed at what they referred to as "Wolf Creek" specifically mentioned the tranquility of being right next to the creek and enjoying reading in a hammock, while their nephew enjoyed a swing nearby. This suggests that the resort caters to both relaxation and some light recreational activities.
For those opting for tent camping, the resort seems to provide thoughtful amenities. One reviewer appreciated the convenience of a supplied charcoal BBQ, a propane fire pit, and a picnic area for easy meal preparation and enjoyment. This attention to detail ensures that campers have the essentials for a comfortable stay without having to bring absolutely everything themselves.
Navigating the campground seems relatively straightforward, although one visitor recommended bringing vehicles up the "Sugar Pine way" to unload, as the stairs to some sites could be a bit challenging, particularly when carrying gear in the heat. This practical tip can be valuable for future guests to ensure a smoother arrival and setup process.
Adding to the unique offerings of Wild Plumas Resort, one guest mentioned enjoying a birthday massage by the creek, highlighting the potential for personalized and memorable experiences within this natural setting. This suggests that the resort may offer or facilitate access to services that enhance relaxation and well-being beyond the typical camping experience.
Overall, the feedback indicates that Wild Plumas Resort and Campground is a "beautiful place" that leaves a lasting positive impression on its visitors. Wild Plumas Resort and Campground Reviews
What a beautiful place. Our Family Reunion was fantastic. The teepees are set up with great beds, some have a couch, some have a second bed. The surrounding camp site has a fire pit, chairs, kitchen set up and more. The surrounding trees make the sites quiet and beautiful; you don't hear your neighbors. The stream is set up with swimming holes and places for your chair. My husband, pup and I had a super stay. Will definitely go back.
Jul 24, 2023 · Robyn HollerWe stayed at Wolf Creek. The tent was so nice and it was convenient that they supplied a charcoal bbq, a propane fire pit, and a picnic area to set up and eat at. The tent is RIGHT next to the creek and was so peaceful. I enjoyed reading my book in the hammock and our nephew really enjoyed the swing. There is enough space between the sites that you can’t hear other campers. I recommend bringing your vehicle up the Sugar Pine way to unload, the stairs were a bit challenging in the heat to bring everything to the site. I also really enjoyed my birthday massage on the creek. Would absolutely go again.

Nov 05, 2023 · Kira HardyWe love this place. It's the perfect definition of Glamping. We've stayed at another clamping spot and it was super cozy and comfortable but you weren't really camping because there were dozens of tents next to you. Wild Plumas is cozy, comfortable and and you can't see your neighbors. They're on a big lot, near a creek and you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but you're not.some of the amenities are good cell service (if you want that)theres a outdoor shower that's heated by propane.bathroom (port-o-potty)gift shop with shirts and souvenirs.Theres swings and a zipline and a tree house and a Teepee for kids to play in.Things to do in the area-Theres lots of gorgeous rivers to check out and fish in,4wd roads & trailsCheck out the historical town of Greenville, most of which was burned down in the Dixie fireQuincy and Lake Almanor. The owners are very nice and hospitable. If you want some more recommendations don't hesitate to ask Josie.
