The enthusiastic reviews from long-term visitors highlight the resort's family-friendly atmosphere, its prime location on a quiet cove, and the strong sense of community among its guests. Under new ownership, 2Beaches RV Resort is reportedly undergoing updates, promising an even brighter future for this already beloved destination.
The environment surrounding 2Beaches RV Resort is clearly a major attraction. Situated in Gravois Mills, the resort benefits from the natural beauty and recreational opportunities of the Lake of the Ozarks, a premier destination known for its extensive shoreline, diverse activities, and stunning scenery. The resort's specific location "in the back of a quiet cove" offers a significant advantage, providing a more tranquil and protected environment compared to the busier main channels of the lake. This quieter setting is particularly appealing for families with children, as it allows for safer enjoyment of water activities such as swimming, waverunning, and tubing without the heavy traffic of the main lake. The "quiet lake scene" mentioned by one reviewer underscores the peaceful ambiance that guests can expect at 2Beaches.
The services and features at 2Beaches RV Resort seem to cater to a comfortable and enjoyable long-term stay, fostering a strong sense of community. The fact that multiple reviewers have been at the park since its original opening speaks volumes about the positive experiences and the loyalty it inspires. The development of close friendships among guests, who are now considered "family," highlights the welcoming and social atmosphere of the resort. The regular organization of "fun" events such as bands, cornhole tournaments, and chili cook-offs further enhances this community spirit and provides entertainment for residents and visitors alike.
A standout feature of 2Beaches RV Resort is the "nice family friendly atmosphere" and the "swim dock in the back of the cove," which is described as "the best especially for kiddos!" This dedicated swim area provides a safe and enjoyable space for children to play and swim in the lake. The quiet cove location adds an extra layer of safety and tranquility for families enjoying the water. For those interested in more active water sports, the cove location also allows for activities like waverunning and tubing without the concerns of main channel traffic, as explicitly mentioned by one reviewer.
The RV camping spots at 2Beaches are described as "big enough for you to have your own space while still being close to neighbors but not to close!" This thoughtful layout provides a balance between privacy and community interaction, allowing guests to enjoy their own campsite comfortably while still having the opportunity to socialize with fellow RVers. The resort's commitment to maintaining a family-friendly environment is evident in both its location and its amenities.
The mention of new ownership and ongoing updates suggests that 2Beaches RV Resort is committed to continuous improvement and enhancing the guest experience. The long-term residents express excitement about the future direction of the resort under the new management, indicating a positive outlook and anticipation of further enhancements to the already well-regarded facilities. This proactive approach to upgrades is a promising sign for potential new visitors.
While specific details about all the amenities are not provided in the reviews, based on the context of a well-regarded RV resort on the Lake of the Ozarks, one can infer the presence of standard and potentially additional features such as:
- Full hookup RV sites, likely including electricity (various amperages), water, and sewer connections. The "big enough" description suggests that sites can accommodate larger RVs.
- Clean and well-maintained restroom and shower facilities.
- Laundry facilities for the convenience of guests, especially those staying for longer periods.
- Waste disposal services, including a readily accessible dump station for RV holding tanks.
- Potentially recreational areas beyond the swim dock, such as picnic tables, fire pits, or communal gathering spaces, in addition to the organized events.
- Wi-Fi access, which is increasingly expected by RV travelers to stay connected.
- On-site management, now under new ownership, dedicated to providing a positive guest experience and overseeing the ongoing updates.
- Possible boat docking or launching facilities, given the lakefront location, although this is not explicitly mentioned.

2Beaches RV Resort Reviews
We have been at 2Beaches since they originally opened. Great place and now under new ownership. We have made so many new friends at this park that are now family! Always something fun going on from bands, cornhole tournaments, chili cook off and more. They have a nice family friendly atmosphere and the swim dock in the back of the cove is the best especially for kiddos! They are making updates and we are excited to see where they take it! Make sure you come take a look and enjoy the beauty and quiet lake scene.
Nov 05, 2024 · Michele BussardWe’ve been in the park since it first opened and have made it our second home. We love how quiet it is and family friendly. Along with the swim dock for hanging out all day we love that it’s in the back of a quiet cove so our kids can ride waverunners and tube without having to fight the main channel crowd. All of the camping spots are big enough for you to have your own space while still being close to neighbors but not to close! We highly recommend.
Nov 05, 2024 · CrystalRae WilsonMy family has been a part of the campground since shortly after they opened, and it has been an amazing experience! We were previously camping at a smaller lake due to how busy LOTO can be and wanting to be able to be on the water without crazy boat traffic - the location of this place allows us to do that! The campground is located in the back of a quiet cove at the 7.5MM, so the water is pretty calm for swimming off the dock but there is still plenty of area past the no wake zone to accommodate tubers and jet skis without being on the main part of the lake.We have met some amazing people, some who have also been here since opening, that have become family that we now see during the off season! There are families with and without kids, who are a variety of ages, so it is likely you will find a friend for everyone at your site!We have had activities throughout the seasons to get everyone involved (if they choose) including bands/DJ/karaoke, a chili cook-off, a shrimp boil, a cornhole tournament, a 4th of July golf cart parade, a small playground by the bath house, and a beginning of the season meet and greet. The park is under new ownership, but the plan is to keep these fun activities part of the agenda as well as including other resources for the guests!Once you are a part of the resort, you will get added to a Facebook group that will keep you updated on the dates of activities as well as weather conditions or any other updates. People also use it to see if others can check on their things whenever they aren’t able to be there, which has been super helpful!I cannot say enough good things, and I am thankful my family chose to give this place a try. Nothing is ever perfect, but 2Beaches has had everything we have needed to have fun, make memories, and enjoy our time on the LOTO!
Nov 07, 2024 · Hayley SloanNice little oasis tucked up in the rolling hills of Missouri. They have everything you need for a weekend or summer get-away from it all. Clean and well manicured campsites, facilities (laundry/bathroom) and grounds. 2 beautiful swimming beaches, a swim up dock, covered boat slips, and a bar with live bands at least once a month.
Nov 05, 2024 · Amber BelmerMy family has been in the park since the beginning and we’ve made it our second home. We love the quiet family atmosphere, the swim dock and the quiet cove perfect for our kids to ride wave runners and tube.
