Alta Vista Mobile Home Park Introduce
Welcome to Alta Vista Mobile Home Park, located at 711 E Lake Mead Pkwy in Henderson, Nevada. For those searching for 'RV parks near me' or 'mobile home parks near me' in the Henderson area, Alta Vista Mobile Home Park presents a community with contrasting feedback from recent residents. This introduction aims to provide an objective view based on the customer reviews available online.
One recent resident expressed significant dissatisfaction with their experience at Alta Vista Mobile Home Park. Their review, which included an update, detailed several major issues. Firstly, they described a pile of discarded items near the office, labeling it "ghetto" and contradicting the initial impression that the neighborhood would be pleasant and "not your typical trailer park." This suggests potential concerns about the overall aesthetic and upkeep of certain areas within the park.
The same reviewer also raised concerns about inconsistent lot fees. Upon moving in during mid-May 2024, they were required to pay $850 per month, despite other residents reportedly paying $750. This higher rate was attributed to an increase scheduled for January 1, 2025, which the reviewer found unfair given their move-in date. This discrepancy in fees and the early implementation of a future increase could be a significant financial disadvantage for some residents considering 'affordable RV parks Henderson' or 'mobile home parks Henderson'.
Further issues included disparities in lot sizes, with the reviewer noting a "tiny sliver" of yard compared to the "large yards" of other residents. Noise disturbances were also reported as being "at an all time high," which could impact the quality of life for those seeking a peaceful living environment in their search for 'long-term RV parks Henderson' or 'mobile home living Henderson'.
Maintenance and management responsiveness were also criticized. Despite the park owner stating they would handle water issues, the reviewer claimed that the owner's husband instructed them to fix a leak themselves, even explaining how to do the manual labor. Additionally, the grounds of the lot assigned to the reviewer were described as "appalling," with cigarette butts, nails, screws, nuts, bolts, and excessive weeds. The reviewer was allegedly forced to pull the weeds themselves, as the local groundskeeper (also a tenant) offered services for a fee. The installation of a washer and dryer was also reportedly mishandled, with the male park owner allegedly admitting they were waiting for a complaint before installing them, accompanied by what the reviewer perceived as mocking behavior. Based on this detailed account, potential residents should be aware of potential issues with lot maintenance, management responsiveness to repairs, and overall customer service.
In stark contrast, another reviewer described Alta Vista Mobile Home Park as a "Great place! Love it here!" They praised the "Beautiful remodeled pool" and the "very friendly neighborhood," also noting it as "Kid friendly." This positive feedback highlights potential amenities and a sense of community within the park. Furthermore, this reviewer specifically commended the park manager Gina and her husband Mark as "awesome people" who are "Always there to help in any situation," stating that the park is "10 times better then any park in North Vegas." This positive perspective suggests that some residents have a very favorable experience with the management and the community atmosphere, particularly appreciating the amenities like the remodeled pool.
The significant divergence in these two recent reviews indicates a potentially inconsistent living experience at Alta Vista Mobile Home Park. While one resident praises the management, amenities, and community, another details numerous negative issues related to costs, lot conditions, maintenance, and management interactions. This makes it crucial for prospective residents searching for 'Henderson RV parks near me' or 'Henderson mobile home parks near me' to carefully consider both perspectives and conduct thorough due diligence.
For those considering Alta Vista Mobile Home Park for 'RV living Henderson' or 'mobile home living Henderson,' it is essential to inquire about the current lot fees and the inclusion of any utilities. Asking about lot sizes and the park's maintenance responsibilities for individual lots and common areas would also be prudent. Additionally, prospective residents may want to inquire about noise levels and any community rules in place to ensure a peaceful environment. The availability and condition of amenities like the remodeled pool should also be verified.
Given the conflicting reports regarding management responsiveness, it would be beneficial to speak directly with the current management, Gina and Mark, to understand their policies on maintenance requests and resident concerns. Visiting the park in person to assess the overall environment, the condition of the lots, and the appearance of amenities like the pool is highly recommended. If possible, speaking with current residents (perhaps those not directly associated with the positive review) could provide a more balanced view of the living experience at Alta Vista Mobile Home Park.
In conclusion, Alta Vista Mobile Home Park in Henderson presents a complex picture based on recent online reviews. While the remodeled pool and friendly management (Gina and Mark) are highlighted as positives by one reviewer, another detailed significant negative experiences concerning inconsistent fees, poor lot conditions, inadequate maintenance support, and perceived unprofessionalism from the park owners. Potential residents searching for 'mobile home for sale Henderson' or 'RV for sale Henderson' should carefully weigh these contrasting perspectives and conduct thorough personal investigation to determine if Alta Vista Mobile Home Park aligns with their individual needs and expectations for a mobile home or RV community. Direct communication with the management and a visit to the park are strongly advised to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current living conditions and policies.

Alta Vista Mobile Home Park Reviews
*** update****Don’t worry about visiting any local thrift stores, there’s a pile of “someone’s trash and someone else’s treasures” right next to the office!!! Ghetto. I was sold on the point that this neighborhood would be pleasant and, “… not your typical trailer park.” Far stretch from the truth. Sure, the grounds of the mobile home park are kept in minimal decent condition, however, many of the residents are still the definition of trailer trash. I’ve had so many issues since I moved in. The biggest issue was that everyone’s lot fees were $750 when I moved in, but I was required to pay $850 due to the increase the park owner is implementing on 1/1/2025 yet I moved in during the middle of MAY 2024. I’ve noticed a lot of the other people have large yards where I just have a tiny sliver. The noise disturbances are at an all time high. The park owner stated she’d be taking care of any water issues. I reported a leak and her husband told me to fix it myself by doing my own manual labor. He even explained exactly how to do it… Just wow. The grounds of the lot I was given are appalling. Cigarette butts, nails, screws, nuts and bolts scattered everywhere. Outrageous weeds pouring in from the surrounding lots that I was forced to pull myself because the local grounds keeper (who is also a tenant) offered his services to me at a price. When I asked about the installation of my washer and dryer I was told by the male park owner, “Oh. My wife was waiting for you to complain until we came to put them in.” With a smirk and a chuckle… Apparently I am a joke to these people after paying tens of thousands of dollars to live here. Ten outta ten DO NOT recommend.

Nov 13, 2024 · D OMy name is Paul and I moved into this park about a month and a half ago. The park is going through a lot of good changes. The park Mgr. Gina is really overhauling this park. She’s doing amazing things here, by cleaning it up and making it a safe and peaceful place to live. The rent space is very affordable as well.I would like to give a special recognition to Gina, the park Mgr. She is a very kind person, who is easy to deal with. She will go above and beyond, to make sure, whatever you need is taken care of. She’s a great Mgr. from my experience.I look forward to the future of this park and this is not just a mobile home park but, it’s a community of good people.I am very blessed and I thank God for placing me here. I’m proud to call this community my home.Thank you and God bless you!
Aug 22, 2023 · Paul KarchVery nice mobile home park, upgrades are being done constantly
Mar 06, 2025 · Kathy DawsonCalled looking to see if there was a recording of information on the park and to my surprise a woman answered the phone after business hours, offended I called at 7:30pm on a Sunday asking if "I thought I was appropriate?" to call and before I could answer with an apology she hung up on me. Not sure why anyone would even answer the phone if the office is closed? I think this is her home number maybe and definitely doesn't seem a professional business. Beware.
