Duck Creek RV Park Introduce
If you're looking for "RV parks near me" in the Las Vegas, Nevada, area, Duck Creek RV Park, located at 6635 Boulder Hwy, Las Vegas, NV 89122, USA, is an option to consider. You can reach them at (702) 454-7090 or +1 702-454-7090 for inquiries about availability and rates. Based on the available customer feedback, Duck Creek RV Park presents a mixed profile, with strong positives in terms of cleanliness and staff friendliness, but also a notable policy regarding RV power hookups that potential guests should be aware of.
One long-term resident of over four months speaks highly of their experience at Duck Creek RV Park. They specifically commend the friendliness of the staff and the exceptional cleanliness of the restrooms and laundry room, noting that these facilities are "cleaned to a sparkle every day." Furthermore, they found the prices to be "very reasonable," making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers or those seeking an extended stay. This positive review suggests that Duck Creek RV Park prioritizes hygiene and customer service, which can significantly enhance the overall RV living experience.
In contrast, another review details a negative experience related to the park's policy on RV power hookups. This individual, traveling in a brand-new Ford Transit van equipped with a heavy-duty solar system, a high-powered alternator, and battery banks capable of lasting a week without external power, was reportedly denied the ability to stay at Duck Creek RV Park because their vehicle did not have traditional power hookups. The reviewer found this policy to be "pretty discriminatory," especially after observing "dilapidated RVs parked" within the park. They felt that their self-sufficient power system should have been an acceptable alternative, particularly as they perceived available spaces within the park. This experience highlights a potentially inflexible policy that could affect travelers with modern, off-grid power solutions.
Considering these two reviews, the environment of Duck Creek RV Park appears to be one where cleanliness and a friendly staff are appreciated by at least some long-term residents. The emphasis on daily cleaning of essential facilities like restrooms and laundry rooms suggests a commitment to maintaining a comfortable and hygienic living space for guests. The "reasonable prices" mentioned in the positive review also indicate that the park aims to be an affordable option within the Las Vegas area.
However, the policy regarding RV power hookups is a significant feature that potential guests, especially those with alternative power systems, need to be aware of. The negative review suggests that Duck Creek RV Park may have a strict requirement for traditional power hookups, even if an RV is equipped with advanced off-grid capabilities. This policy could limit the park's accessibility to a segment of the RV traveling community that prioritizes self-sufficiency.
Regarding other services and features, the provided information does not offer specifics beyond the clean restrooms and laundry facilities. It is reasonable to assume that Duck Creek RV Park offers standard RV amenities such as water and sewer hookups at its sites, given that the issue was specifically about power. However, details about the size and layout of the sites, the presence of amenities like Wi-Fi, recreational areas (e.g., a pool or common gathering space), or pet policies are not mentioned in the available reviews.
From a promotional perspective, Duck Creek RV Park could emphasize its clean facilities, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing to attract visitors. The positive review serves as a strong testament to these aspects. However, the park should also clearly communicate its policy regarding power hookups to avoid potential disappointment or frustration for travelers with alternative power solutions. Transparency in this area would be beneficial for managing expectations.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Las Vegas, Duck Creek RV Park presents itself as a potentially welcoming and clean option, particularly for those with RVs equipped with standard power hookups. The positive feedback about the staff and the cleanliness of the facilities are significant advantages. However, individuals traveling in RVs without traditional power hookups should be aware of the policy highlighted in the negative review and may want to confirm their specific situation with the park management before attempting to book a stay.
In conclusion, Duck Creek RV Park offers a clean and friendly environment with reasonable prices, as attested by a long-term resident. However, their policy regarding RVs without power hookups, as described by another potential guest, is a crucial consideration for those with alternative power systems. While the park appears to excel in maintaining its facilities and providing good customer service to some, its inflexibility regarding power requirements could be a drawback for others. Further information about site amenities, Wi-Fi availability, and other park features would be helpful for a comprehensive assessment.

Duck Creek RV Park Reviews
I've been residing here 4+ months. All the staff are very friendly, the restrooms and laundry room are cleaned to a sparkle every day and prices are very reasonable. Two thumbs up!
Jan 29, 2025 · James GouldingI was denied the ability to stay because I don't have power hookups, which I intentionally didn't build in because my solar is heavy duty on top of having an extremely high powered alternator and my battery banks can last me a week even without any inflow of power. All in a brand new Ford Transit. They write it off casually like they don't have space but they do. I looked. I encountered this same policy at the next place I went to but they were more upfront and made an exception for me. Pretty discriminatory tbh. I drove through and saw dilapidated RVs parked but I'm the problem? Ok.
Apr 08, 2025 · John GettyThis park is ran very professionally. It's clean, organized, and pleasant. The staff is fantastic.Very friendly. And on a side note, my dog had passed away (she was old and ill, it was her time) and when I went to the office they had a lovely condolences card for me signed by everyone. That was super nice and I'm going to keep that card forever. I felt like family there. The people living there are friendly as well. The whole park is just a nice vibe. It's quiet and I felt safe.

Not to mention the newly renovated laundry room is sooooo nice!! You never have to wait and I love that.
