Anclote Village RV Park Introduce
If you're searching for "RV parks near me" in the Holiday, Florida area and prioritize a peaceful and uncomplicated camping experience, Anclote Village RV Park, located at 1421 Calvary Rd, Holiday, FL 34691, USA, might be exactly what you're looking for. Based on the available customer reviews, this RV park offers a distinct "Old Florida feel" characterized by its beauty and tranquility. It's important to note that the reviews explicitly mention a lack of amenities, suggesting a focus on a natural and quiet environment for those who are self-sufficient and seeking a simple retreat.
Environment and Ambiance:
The recurring descriptions of Anclote Village RV Park as "beautiful and quiet" immediately paint a picture of a serene and natural setting. The "Old Florida feel" evokes a sense of a more traditional, less developed Florida landscape, potentially with mature trees, natural vegetation, and a laid-back atmosphere. For local users seeking an escape from the more bustling and amenity-rich RV resorts, Anclote Village RV Park appears to offer a welcome respite. The emphasis on quiet suggests a park where peace and relaxation are prioritized, making it ideal for those looking to unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings without the noise often associated with more amenity-heavy campgrounds.
While the reviews don't provide specific details about the layout, size of the lots, or proximity to specific natural features, the overall impression is one of a natural and tranquil environment that allows guests to connect with the beauty of the "Old Florida" landscape. The absence of extensive amenities likely contributes to this quieter and more natural ambiance, focusing on the inherent appeal of the location itself.
Services and Amenities:
The customer reviews are quite clear about the limited services and amenities at Anclote Village RV Park. One reviewer explicitly states, "No amenities," while another echoes this by saying, "Nothing special here but a great place to relax and sleep." This indicates that visitors should expect a more basic setup, likely focusing on essential hookups for RVs (water, electricity, and possibly sewer) without the added conveniences of clubhouses, pools, laundry facilities, or organized activities that are common in many other RV parks. For local users considering a stay here, it's crucial to be prepared for a self-sufficient camping experience.
The lack of mentioned amenities could be a significant draw for those who prefer a more traditional camping style or those who travel with fully equipped RVs and don't require extensive park facilities. It might also translate to a more affordable rate compared to parks with numerous amenities. However, potential guests should confirm the availability of basic hookups and any essential services directly with the park management.

Anclote Village RV Park Reviews
Old Florida feel. No amenities. Just beautiful and quiet.
Jan 22, 2025 · Adele ArlittVery nice and quiet. Nothing special here but a great place to relax and sleep
May 03, 2025 · David OrganekWooded, park like setting. The sites are roomy. It's eclectic, well maintained and quiet. It has wifi. The laundry and shower areas are dated but clean and functional. This much beautiful green space is rare in the area. Only the area parks rival the natural beauty of this campground.
Oct 24, 2016 · TN TI've never stayed here but have a friend who lives close by and decided to try this campground. We're retirees, and travel a lot, and this is the first time I've ever been turned away because I have 4 dogs! My dogs weigh in at a combined weight of 45 lbs. I belong to PassPort America, and KOA. In all the 7 years we've been traveling sometime's for months at a time, we've never been turned away because of our dogs. Their well traveled, are very well behaved, and are not barkers ! I called to reserve and when asked if I had pets, I said yes, and she asked how many, I replied 4 not expecting the response I got from the lady who I was speaking to, She said No, we can't rent to you and proceeded to say we had too many dogs and she doesn't rent to people with that many dogs! I tried to explain that they were small and well behaved, and she said, Nope, end of conversation, she hung up! This is the reason I'm posting this. There are a lot of people who travel with more than 2 dogs, I know because I've run into some, and some had 7 dogs, small ones of course( Yorkies to be exact, show dogs) but I don't understand the reason for this, maybe the owners will respond to this, I and most dog owners, who travel, clean up after their dogs, I could have rolled in there in a $400,000 motor home, without calling for a reservation, would they have turned me away???So.. the bottom line to all triple dogs owners or more, BEWARE, don't bother calling this place! I'll be posting this on all the facebook RV sites too, we rver's stick together and avoid places like this. If I can afford 4 dogs, I darn sure will clean up after them, make sure their shots are up to date, and have no "fleas" as another poster mentioned above!I'm just very SAD that the owner feels the way she does, it's her campground, and I'm not angry, I'm just telling it like it is! Thanks for reading, and you decide from here! Happy Trails!!
Jan 05, 2017 · Jamie BadalaWe booked and weren’t able to make our arrival date due to family emergencies, they were not only very accommodating they were very kind and considerate. The park is great, it’s close to everything but not in a noisy high traffic area. We actually have trees around us. We highly recommend this park and we will be back for the next winters.
