Holiday Travel Park, located at 1622 Aires Dr, Holiday, FL 34690, USA, offers a range of options for both short-term travelers and those seeking a longer-term RV living experience. You can reach them by phone at (727) 934-6782 or via mobile at +1 727-934-6782 to inquire about availability and rates.
Based on available information, including customer reviews, the environment at Holiday Travel Park appears to have both positive and negative aspects. One review describes the park as a "depressing place" with concerns about ducks, feral cats, and associated sanitation issues due to long-term residents feeding them. This reviewer also noted the presence of older mobile homes mixed with RVs and expressed a negative overall impression of the park's aesthetic.
Conversely, another review paints a more positive picture, describing Holiday Travel Park as a "nice quiet place to live" with "great neighbors" who are "very helpful." This review also highlights the availability of both short and long-term options and emphasizes the "great value" offered by the park. This suggests that while some areas or aspects of the park may present challenges, others appreciate the community and affordability.
Considering these contrasting viewpoints, potential visitors should be aware that the environment may be somewhat varied. While some residents enjoy a quiet and neighborly atmosphere, others have raised concerns about cleanliness and the mix of RVs and older mobile homes. It's advisable to directly contact Holiday Travel Park to inquire about the current conditions, specific site availability, and any recent updates or improvements.
In terms of services and features, the positive review mentions the availability of both short and long-term stay options, indicating flexibility for different travel needs. The emphasis on "great value" suggests that the park may offer competitive pricing for the area. However, specific details regarding amenities such as hookups (water, electricity, sewer), Wi-Fi availability, laundry facilities, recreational areas, or pet policies are not explicitly mentioned in the provided information. Therefore, it is crucial to ask the park management directly about the specific services and features included with your site.
Given the limited and somewhat contradictory information available publicly, it is recommended that prospective guests contact Holiday Travel Park directly to gain a comprehensive understanding of what the park currently offers. Inquire about the types of RV sites available, the amenities provided, the current state of the park environment, and their policies regarding pets and long-term stays. Asking for recent photos or the opportunity to visit the park before booking might also be beneficial in forming your own assessment.
When searching for "RV parks near me," it's essential to consider various factors to find the best fit for your needs. While Holiday Travel Park offers the convenience of its location in Holiday, Florida, and potentially a good value, it's important to weigh the positive feedback regarding the community and value against the negative feedback concerning the environment and aesthetics. Direct communication with the park management will be key to obtaining accurate and up-to-date information to help you make an informed decision.
For those seeking short-term RV camping in the Holiday area, Holiday Travel Park might provide an affordable option. However, it would be prudent to clarify the condition of the sites and the availability of necessary hookups. Similarly, for individuals considering a longer-term RV living situation, understanding the community dynamics and the overall environment, as well as the cost and included amenities, is crucial. The mention of "great neighbors" in one review suggests a potentially positive community aspect for long-term residents.
In conclusion, Holiday Travel Park in Holiday, Florida, offers both short and long-term RV site options and is described by one reviewer as a quiet place with helpful neighbors and good value. However, another review raises concerns about the park's environment and aesthetics. To get a clear and accurate picture of what Holiday Travel Park currently offers, it is strongly recommended to contact them directly at (727) 934-6782 or +1 727-934-6782 to discuss your specific needs and inquire about the current conditions and amenities. Holiday Travel Park Reviews
This is hardly an RV RESORT! Booked a 2 week stay and left after 6 nights, disgusting…ducks and ferel cats everywhere. Long term residents feed them, duck poop everywhere…talk about a depressing place, I think the homeless hanging outside the front entrance are better off than those in the park!!! Place is a complete eyesore, rv’s are thrown in amongst old disgusting mobile homes…🤮
Feb 06, 2025 · Cathy OsmerNice quiet place to live. Great neighbors. Very helpful. Short and long term options. Great value.
May 06, 2025 · Garth JensenAwesome RV park very friendly. They take care of the bathrooms wellThe lady in charge of cleaning then is very helpful and always smiles
Apr 29, 2025 · Kristopher FarmerHave a 23’ trailer. Stayed here because we are members of Thousand Trails. Guess there was a reason why this was the only place I could get a reservation on short notice. Most spots are by permanent residents.Very tight roads and narrow spots. YOU NEED A SURGE SUPPRESSOR. The first day we stayed there was a big surge.Water pressure a little on the low side. The sewer hook up is in the concrete so it was a little difficult to hook that up.Bathrooms are not air conditioned. Now for the good parts - the library and club house is great! Pool tables, competition shuffleboard, horse shoes, and corn hole courts. Pool looked nice.Pet friendly but no free run area. I didn’t see any strip club as prior reviews mentioned but there is a liquor store and lounge, restaurant, and grocery within walking distance. Very short drive to the Sponge Docks in Tarpon Springs.I liked the location but I too wasn’t going to be walking around at night. There were a lot of homeless people hanging out by the entrance to the park.
Aug 21, 2022 · Stephanie SimmonsWe stayed here this past week with our Thousand Trails membership, so it was “free” for us. They replaced the front entrance sign while we were there, which is a symbol of the upgrades occurring around the place. All washer/dryer machines accept credit/debit cards, which made paying so much easier than planning ahead & getting quarters. Also, there are multiples buildings throughout the park that have shower & laundry facilities, so there are not lines for either. The sites have picnic tables & concrete pads, though the sites themselves are on grass. There are a ton of permanent structures with seasonal snowbirds, but they are very nice & friendly towards kids. Lots of dogs being walked, people bicycling, & an overall feeling of happiness & safety. We had the only two children we saw the entire week we were there, & there is no playground. BUT, the location is perfect for accessing the sponge docks of Tarpon Springs, the city life of Tampa (Zoo, Children’s Museum, Bayshore Blvd, etc.), the beach vibes of Clearwater, & the amazing playgrounds & sunsets of Dunedin. Oh, & the office is great with package deliveries, if you online shop, like us!
