Based on recent customer feedback, Antlers RV Park offers a notably peaceful and spacious environment. One reviewer described it as being "just off Indian Nations tollroad" yet maintaining a "quiet and clean" atmosphere. This convenient location provides easy access for travelers on the turnpike while still offering a serene retreat away from the direct noise of the highway. This balance of accessibility and tranquility is a significant advantage for those searching for "RV parks near me" that provide both convenience and a relaxing stay.
A crucial piece of information provided in one review is that Antlers RV Park does not have "bathroom or shower facilities." However, it compensates for this by offering "full hookups available" at each site. Full hookups typically include connections for electricity (often 30 amp and/or 50 amp), water, and sewer, allowing RVers with onboard facilities to be fully self-contained and comfortable. This makes Antlers RV Park particularly suitable for RVs equipped with their own restrooms and showers. Travelers relying on communal facilities will need to consider this limitation.
Despite the absence of communal restrooms and showers, the park is still considered "Good for overnight" stays, likely due to its convenient location and the availability of full hookups. This makes it an attractive option for those passing through the area and needing a comfortable and well-serviced place to park for the night.
The same reviewer also noted that Antlers RV Park "caters to long term but quiet and clean." This suggests that while the park accommodates longer-term residents, it maintains a peaceful and well-kept environment for all guests. A quiet atmosphere is highly valued by many RV travelers, and the emphasis on cleanliness indicates good management and attention to the comfort of the guests, regardless of their length of stay.
Another reviewer further elaborated on the appealing environment, describing "Very large grassy spots surrounded by more grassy area (with fireflies!)." This paints a picture of spacious sites with ample green space, enhancing the natural beauty and providing a comfortable setting. The mention of fireflies adds a charming touch, suggesting a pleasant outdoor experience, especially during warmer months. The large, grassy spots also imply that there is plenty of room to maneuver RVs and enjoy outdoor activities around the campsite.
This reviewer also reiterated the park's peacefulness, stating it is "Quiet and peaceful with no road noise even though the park is only a mile or so from the turnpike." This reinforces the earlier point about the park's successful separation from highway noise, ensuring a more restful and enjoyable stay. The proximity to the turnpike still allows for easy access to transportation routes and potentially nearby amenities or attractions in Antlers.
Finally, the second reviewer praised the "Host" as "super nice" and found Antlers RV Park to be "a great spot to overnight." A friendly and helpful host can significantly enhance the guest experience, providing assistance, local information, and a welcoming atmosphere. This positive interaction with the host adds to the overall appeal of Antlers RV Park.
In summary, Antlers RV Park offers a quiet and clean environment with large, grassy RV sites and full hookups, making it suitable for both overnight and long-term stays. While it does not provide communal bathroom or shower facilities, its convenient location just off the Indian Nations Turnpike, coupled with its peaceful ambiance and friendly host, makes it a highly recommended option for RVers who are self-contained or prioritizing a tranquil setting. The spacious, grassy spots and the absence of road noise further contribute to a relaxing experience.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Antlers, Oklahoma, Antlers RV Park stands out for its quiet and clean atmosphere, spacious grassy sites, and the availability of full hookups. If you have an RV with its own bathroom and shower, this park offers a convenient and peaceful retreat. The friendly host adds to the welcoming experience, making it a great choice for those passing through or planning a longer stay in the area. Aug 05, 2023 · Tracy NyeYou can’t have campfires or anything outside, not very kid friendly or pet friendly, no dog park for pets to get out energy and they must be on a leash at all times outside. Lots of land but strict rules and not much fun. Wouldn’t recommend for more than a night.
Mar 19, 2024 · Alexis TrickerSpent one night last week at this nice little park. It's located in a quiet residential area in Antlers. Well tended and spacious lawns and trees. We had a shady spot, but some spots do not have any shade. Owners were very friendly and helped us get backed in.We were only there one night and were tired after being on the road, so didn't explore the rest of the park or area. The park isn't too far from the turnpike, and easy to locate.Pad we had was gravel and level. Water hydrant was below ground level, so our hose connection got mud on it when we were unhooking. We've never seen one done that way, and it would have been good to have had some kind of extender to keep the connection above ground. Other than that, we had no issues here at all.
May 30, 2022 · Cindy SheetsA cute nice little park right off the interstate and main road. Easy access to everything. Bob & Cheryl were great. We really only spoke to Mr. Bob, but he was a great help. And welcomed us back anytime and thanked us for staying. A nice little laundry room that really does good. A big area to see wildlife. Just great people all around.
