Bay West Club Introduce
Bay West Club, situated at 9315 Memorial Hwy in Tampa, Florida, is a mobile home park offering a community living environment in a convenient location. For local users seeking information about "rv parks near me," it's important to clarify that Bay West Club primarily functions as a mobile home park, catering to individuals and families who own or lease mobile homes within the community. While the platform category might list it, the services and environment are geared towards long-term residency in manufactured homes rather than short-term RV stays.
Based on available feedback from residents, living at Bay West Club presents a mixed experience. Several concerns have been raised regarding the enforcement of community rules and the overall management of the property. One long-term resident who lived on the property for three years (from November 2021 to November 2024) noted that while a comprehensive rule book is provided upon move-in, there appears to be a lack of consistent enforcement. This has reportedly led to residents disregarding certain regulations, with the management seemingly not holding individuals accountable. The reviewer mentioned issues such as garbage being left on streets for extended periods, vehicles driving on lawns, disruptive early morning tree cutting, and brush being piled on neighboring properties.
The same reviewer also expressed that while the office staff is perceived as helpful, achieving tangible results often requires significant effort from the residents. The accumulation of unaddressed issues reportedly led to a sense of disillusionment among some residents, prompting them to adopt a "if they don't care, why should we" attitude before ultimately deciding to leave the community. Another concern highlighted was the prevalence of stray cats, which reportedly made flea and tick control for pet owners particularly challenging. The reviewer suggested that allocating funds for nighttime security could potentially address issues such as disruptive parties that allegedly occur despite park rules.
Further reinforcing these concerns, another review described the management as "very poor." This review cited an instance where paperwork from over six years prior was reportedly lost, and residents were expected to repay application fees. Additionally, it was mentioned that while the community was previously gated, efforts to repair or replace the gate had apparently been abandoned. The reviewer also expressed a sentiment that residents who do abide by the rules might end up bearing the consequences of those who do not. The overall tone of this review suggests a significant decline in the park's condition and management effectiveness.
A specific rule mentioned in one of the reviews that drew criticism was the restriction on residents performing any maintenance on their own vehicles. The reviewer questioned the practicality of this rule, especially for residents who may live in the park due to affordability constraints and might struggle to afford professional mechanic bills. This rule was cited as an example of a policy that does not seem to align with the needs and financial realities of some residents, despite claims of the management caring for the community.
Considering the feedback available, the environment at Bay West Club appears to be one where a lack of consistent rule enforcement and perceived management issues have negatively impacted the quality of life for some residents. While the location on Memorial Highway in Tampa offers potential convenience in terms of access to city amenities, the internal dynamics and upkeep of the community seem to be areas of concern based on the experiences shared by past residents.
In terms of services and features, the reviews do not provide extensive details about specific amenities offered by Bay West Club. Typically, mobile home parks offer basic utilities such as water, sewer, and electricity hookups for each lot. There might also be common areas or facilities such as laundry rooms, recreational spaces, or community centers. However, based on the reviews, the upkeep and management of these potential amenities could be areas where improvements are needed. The mention of a previously gated community suggests that security was once a feature, but its current status is uncertain according to the feedback.
Regarding promotional information, the provided data does not include any specific promotions or special offers for Bay West Club. Individuals interested in residency at the park would need to contact the management directly at (813) 885-5652 or +1 813-885-5652 to inquire about lot availability, lease terms, pricing, and any current incentives. It would be prudent for prospective residents to ask detailed questions about the community's rules, their enforcement, the condition of the facilities, and security measures based on the concerns raised in the available feedback.
In conclusion, while Bay West Club is listed as a potential option when searching for "rv parks near me" in Tampa, FL, it primarily operates as a mobile home park catering to long-term residents. Objective analysis of the available feedback reveals significant concerns regarding rule enforcement, property management, and the overall living environment. Prospective residents should carefully consider these points and conduct thorough due diligence, including direct communication with the management and potentially current residents, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the community before making any decisions about residency.

Bay West Club Reviews
We lived on this property for 3 years, owned our home from November 2021-November 2024. The property management company gives out a huge rule book when you move in. Residents don't follow it. Management doesn't enforce it either. There's really no point to it because ppl just do what they want. There's no accountability. The office is helpful but it takes work to get anyone to do anything. Garbage is left on streets for months at a time until it basically disintegrates on it's own lol. We used to pick up garbage, and dog poop that wasn't ours dogs, but it got tiring fast so we just worried about own property. Ppl drive on your lawn and don't care, have trees cut at 7 am on a Sunday, pile brush on properties that don't belong to them affecting your space. We adopted the "if they dont care, why should we" attitude and then we decided to leave. It became depressing, so much work! Stray cats are everywhere. It became impossible to keep up with flea/tick control for our dogs. It would be nice if they would use some funds to hire night time security to deal with the parties that shouldn't be happening as per the park rules. It's going downhill fast but can be improved if the park would uphold their own rules, holding ppl accountable for grass cutting, garbage bins/recycle all over the place, parking on roads affecting others, parties, loose dogs not on leashes etc it would greatly improve the living conditions.
Dec 31, 2024 · Christine KirkVery poor management. They lost paperwork done over six years ago and expect the people to re-pay the application fee. Community was gated and now they aren't even bothering to redo the gate. Expect some of the people that do abide by the rules to pay for everyone else that isn't. The park has really gone so far down hill that no one will see the light here. And some of the rules r really ridiculous like they don't allow people to do any kind of maintenance on their own vehicles. Some people live here cause they can't afford to live somewhere else so how can they afford a 1000 dollar mechanic bill? They claim they care for the people that live there but there is no sign of it whatsoever.
Nov 11, 2017 · Michael WestThis place is DISGUSTING I lived here for a couple years and it was always the worse management ever very ghetto and not taken care of at all office people very unprofessional and rude... I recently been trying to contact them for a friend and they never EVER answer the phone no matter at what time you call I don't understand why bother to have a busyness if you don't care . shut this place down or get new employees . DO NOT LIVE HERE YOU WILL REGREAT IT BELIVE ME
Nov 14, 2017 · Elizabeth VeraWe applied to Bay West. We are currently paying rent of 912 a month and they tried to tell us that we did not have enough income to rent one of their mobile homes that rents for 700 a month! There were roaches crawling everywhere when we looked at the one for rent.Love to know how you can pay more rent and want to go to paying less rent but do not make enough??????????
Jun 04, 2012 · Erica HarperThis is a poorly managed park, with bad roads, frequent crime, drugs, vandalism and theft, and chronic mismanagement. Dogs and cats roam free, and the noise after hours can be ridiculous. Avoid at all costs. 6/30 19 update: WORSE AVOID!! Heroin and unchecked drunk driving now plague this community...folks are going 7 plus days without AC repair and having drunk neighbors drive into their traailers....stay clear.
