Bayview RV Park Introduce
Are you searching for exceptional "RV parks near me" that offer more than just a place to park? Look no further than Bayview RV Park, nestled at 527 Bayshore Dr, Port Mansfield, TX 78598, USA. This established RV park has garnered attention for its welcoming atmosphere, prime location, and the memorable experiences it provides to its guests. Whether you are planning a short coastal getaway or seeking a comfortable long-term stay during the winter months, Bayview RV Park presents a compelling option for RV enthusiasts.
Bayview RV Park boasts a location that truly lives up to its name. Situated on Bayshore Drive, guests can anticipate beautiful waterfront views and convenient access to the unique charm of Port Mansfield. This coastal town is renowned for its excellent fishing opportunities, making Bayview RV Park an ideal destination for anglers of all levels. Imagine waking up to breathtaking sunrises over the bay and spending your days pursuing your favorite catches. In the evenings, the park offers the perfect vantage point to witness spectacular Texas sunsets, painting the sky with vibrant hues.
Based on feedback from actual visitors, the environment at Bayview RV Park is frequently described as friendly and welcoming. One reviewer specifically highlighted the exceptional support and ease provided by the owners, Peggy and Scott. Their helpfulness from the initial inquiry to the arrival made a lasting positive impression, creating a sense of ease and comfort for newcomers. This personal touch contributes significantly to the overall atmosphere of the park, fostering a strong sense of community among the residents, especially those who choose to spend the winter months there.
The sense of community at Bayview RV Park appears to be a significant draw for many guests. The reviewer who stayed for four months during their "winter Texas" experience emphasized feeling immediately welcome by both the owners and the other individuals staying at the park. This suggests a friendly and inclusive environment where long-term residents can forge connections and enjoy a sense of belonging while away from home. For those seeking a place where they can feel comfortable and integrated into a community, Bayview RV Park seems to offer just that.
Beyond the welcoming atmosphere and scenic location, Bayview RV Park offers features that cater to the needs of RV travelers. While specific details about the full range of amenities are not explicitly provided in the reviews, the mention of a "large RV park" suggests ample space and potentially a significant number of sites to accommodate various sizes of recreational vehicles. The positive feedback regarding the helpfulness of the owners implies that they are likely attentive to the needs of their guests and readily available to assist with any concerns or inquiries.
However, it is important to present a balanced perspective based on all available feedback. One reviewer mentioned a concern regarding one-way spikes at the park's exit, which they found unfavorable. This is a point to consider for potential guests who may have similar reservations about such traffic control measures. Additionally, the same reviewer noted that the shower house had windows with only wire screens. While acknowledging that the people were nice and the campground was otherwise pleasant, they pointed out that this setup could lead to a lack of heat during colder weather and the potential for insects, such as spiders, to enter. These are factors that prospective visitors may want to weigh based on their personal preferences and the time of year they plan to stay.
Despite these concerns, the overall sentiment from at least one long-term guest is overwhelmingly positive, with a strong desire to return. The combination of the beautiful town, the wonderful park owners, the excellent fishing opportunities, the stunning sunsets, and the "at home feeling" created at the park clearly resonated deeply with this visitor. The unique experience of watching deer within the town adds another layer of charm to the location, offering a touch of local wildlife that can enhance the overall stay.
For those considering a stay at Bayview RV Park, it is advisable to contact them directly at (956) 944-2313 or +1 956-944-2313 to inquire about site availability, specific amenities, and any current policies or procedures, including those related to the exit spikes and shower facilities. Speaking directly with the park management will allow you to get the most up-to-date information and address any personal concerns you may have.
In conclusion, Bayview RV Park in Port Mansfield, Texas, appears to be a welcoming and well-located destination for RV travelers, particularly those interested in fishing and enjoying the natural beauty of the Texas coast. The positive feedback regarding the owners and the sense of community suggests a pleasant and supportive environment for both short and extended stays. While there are a couple of points of concern raised by one reviewer, the overwhelmingly positive experience of another long-term guest highlights the potential for a truly enjoyable "winter Texas" or coastal getaway. We encourage you to reach out to Bayview RV Park to learn more about how they can accommodate your next RV adventure.

Bayview RV Park Reviews
This was our first year doing the winter Texas thing so I was very nervous. From the very first phone call to Peggy about staying at the Rv park I was at ease. She was beyond helpful and told me I could call before we got there with any questions,we pulled in the day after Thanksgiving and immediately felt welcome by Peggy and Scott and the people staying at the Rv Park.We were there for four months and can hardly wait to go back, beautiful town and wonderful owners of the park,if you love to fish and love beautiful sunsets and a at home feeling when you are away from home you will love this place, and the deer in town are fun to watch
Apr 06, 2025 · zoey larsonLarge rv park but we left after one day. Mainly because of the one way spikes you had to cross whenever leaving the park. I don’t care for those. The other thing was the shower house had windows with only wire screens in the windows. That means when its cold, there is no heat, and spiders can come in. But the people were really nice and it was a nice campground other than that. We would have stayed long but for the spikes.
