Boone Estates Mobile Home Community Reviews
I honestly love the area of the park that I'm living in. I feel blessed with the neighbors I do have, and that's really all people look for when moving into any neighborhood or apartment! The grounds are very clean, and during spring (May) when the grass, trees, and flowers start to come out, it's really pretty! As it gets a bit warmer, you'll start to see everyone's flowers and or gardens coming alive, and it just adds to the scenery. I enjoy trying to add to the scenery as well.In the several years of living here, It's been really nice. No crack head Jed walking around trying to sell his mother's jewelry for a hit or two, nor Mary Jane Rottencrotch wandering around trying to earn 5 dollars for meth.Just as there are in any neighborhood, we have that 1 dysfunctional family that has gotten to know, not only the local PD, but the Sheriff's department too.I fully anticipate a family massacre in the future, but until then, it's what it is. 🤣Overall, I love it here!If I had to find a complaint, it would be this. I came from an area filled with squirrels, and I absolutely love them. Here, in my area, there is 1, and it's a long time seeing it between sightings. We do have a ton of Eastern Cottentails. In spring they are babies running everywhere, and it's just really neat to watch them!Oh...PS:Yes there are feral cats everywhere. Not near as many now as there has been. Maybe everyone started putting rat poison in cat food, and feeding it to the cats! 👏 👏 👏If that's so, that's definitely an extra star earned for the neighborhood! 🤗Honestly, Boone Estates, in my area is great. I just can't speak for the other section, as I just don't know. Want to keep a review honest! All the managers have been great towards me, and that's really cool too. My first property manager was really great. I miss seeing her around. 😊
Dec 05, 2023 · sheldon murphyApartment complexes look decent. The parking lot and lawn all are kept tidy and not trashy looking. The occupants there that I met or passed by were all friendly enough and seemed to be decent as well. I was only visiting a friend that lives here.
Oct 31, 2022 · Jeannie “MeanJean”They waited until my friend was crippled and her husband had cancer to tell her she needed to repaint her house. When they were informed of the problem, my friend was given an additional week to get it done. They're like a homeowner's association but a trailer park. It's like the worst of both worlds
Mar 28, 2023 · Tami CrossBetter than average in appearances because of strict rules & regulations that tenants must adhere to, but still leaves much to be desired for a housing community. There is no guest parking area & only 2 car driveways so inviting guests leaves nowhere to park without getting a violation. There is no on-site manager so any immediate needs of mgmt is at least an hour before responding in person & there is no follow-thru with problematic residents. There is no park area nor playground equipment or group meeting/party area. All pets are restricted to be less than 21 lbs, but people have large dogs anyways & with no on-site mgmt, none of the rules regarding pets are enforced. The manager is blunt & rude without regards toward others & lacks empathy entirely. The owner lives out-of-state & refuses to hear criticism regarding mgmt behavior & obvious favoritism towards select residents. If a rule is enforced for one tenant, don't you agree it should be enforced with all of them? Management & owner promise every year to trim trees, repair roads/driveways, & address drainage issues, but haven't followed through in the past 5 years minimum. With all that said, Boone Estates is strides ahead of the only other mobile home park in Boone located directly next door to the East.
