Boston Rd. Mobilehome Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" with the possibility of long-term stays or are considering mobile home living in Springfield, Massachusetts, Boston Rd. Mobilehome Park, located at 1157 Boston Rd, Springfield, MA 01119, USA, is a community that warrants a closer look. You can contact them for inquiries at (413) 782-1897 or +1 413-782-1897.
Based on the available resident reviews, Boston Rd. Mobilehome Park presents a somewhat mixed picture. One long-term resident, having lived there for 15 to 16 years, describes the park as "beautiful" with "beautiful people" who are friendly, look out for each other's properties, and maintain their homes well. This positive perspective also highlights "great" maintenance within the park, suggesting that the community takes pride in its upkeep and fosters a sense of security and neighborliness.
In contrast, another long-term resident, who has lived in the park for 17 years, offers a different perspective, noting a decline in the community's atmosphere over the past nine years or so. This reviewer recalls a time when the park was "nice and above all else... QUIET!" However, they report a deterioration in recent years, citing issues such as frequent wrong-way traffic on the one-way streets and a lack of enforcement. Additionally, they mention problems with loud music emanating from nearby trailers and disruptive parties, leading to a significant decrease in the peacefulness of the environment. This resident strongly advises against moving into the park for those seeking a quiet place to live and expresses a desire to leave but feels financially constrained. This contrasting view underscores the importance of considering that community experiences can evolve over time and can be perceived differently by individuals.
Given its nature as a mobile home park with long-term residents, Boston Rd. Mobilehome Park may or may not readily accommodate RVs for extended stays. While the platform category is "RV parks near me," the primary focus appears to be on permanent mobile home living. If the park does offer long-term RV sites, the services and features would likely be geared towards a more residential style of living rather than the typical amenities of a short-term RV park.
Potential services and features that might be available at Boston Rd. Mobilehome Park (though not explicitly confirmed for RV guests) could include:
- Established Lots: Designed for mobile homes, these lots might offer sufficient space for larger RVs, potentially including areas for parking and setting up outdoor living spaces.
- Utility Hookups: Essential for long-term occupancy, these typically include connections for electricity, water, and sewer. RV users would need to confirm the specifics, such as the amperage of electrical hookups and the availability of direct sewer connections.
- Community Infrastructure: Mobile home parks usually feature paved roads for internal traffic and street lighting for safety within the community.
- Maintenance Services: As mentioned by one reviewer, maintenance within the park is considered "great," suggesting that the community provides upkeep for common areas and possibly offers services to residents for their individual properties.
Amenities commonly found in dedicated RV parks catering to travelers, such as laundry facilities, communal restrooms and showers, recreational areas (like clubhouses or swimming pools), or organized social activities, are not mentioned in the provided reviews. Therefore, their availability at Boston Rd. Mobilehome Park, especially for any potential long-term RV guests, cannot be assumed and would require direct verification with the management.
The environment of Boston Rd. Mobilehome Park is described as "beautiful" by one long-term resident, suggesting an aesthetically pleasing setting with well-maintained grounds. The sense of community where "everybody gets along with everybody watches everybody’s houses" further contributes to a positive social environment, at least according to this perspective. However, the other review paints a picture of a declining sense of peace and order, with issues like traffic violations and noise disturbances impacting the quality of life for some residents. This suggests that while some parts of the community may still retain a pleasant atmosphere, there might be areas or times when noise and rule adherence are concerns.
Information regarding pet policies is not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews. For individuals considering long-term residency with pets, whether in a mobile home or an RV, it is crucial to inquire about the park's regulations concerning pets, including any limitations on the number, size, or breed of animals allowed, as well as any rules regarding leashing and waste management.
No promotional information, such as special rates for new residents or incentives for long-term stays (whether in mobile homes or RVs, if permitted), is included in the available reviews. To obtain details about lot rental fees for mobile homes or potential rates for extended RV stays, you would need to contact Boston Rd. Mobilehome Park directly using the provided phone numbers. The management would be the most reliable source for current pricing and any special offers that might be available.
In conclusion, Boston Rd. Mobilehome Park in Springfield, MA, appears to be a long-established residential community with varying experiences reported by its long-term residents. While some appreciate its beauty, neighborliness, and maintenance, others have noted a decline in quietness and an increase in disruptive behavior. For those searching for "RV parks near me" for a long-term stay, it is essential to directly contact the management to ascertain if RVs are permitted, what amenities are available for RV guests, the current atmosphere of the community, the pet policies, and the applicable rates. A thorough inquiry will help potential residents determine if Boston Rd. Mobilehome Park aligns with their needs and expectations for long-term living in the Springfield area.

Oct 13, 2021 · Edwin PerezWhen I first moved in here(17 years ago) , the park was nice and above all else... QUIET! In the past 9 years or so, things have gotten progressively worse. The streets in here are one way, but people are always going the wrong way on them, and don't care. Loud music that can be heard from about 4-5 trailers away, and parties that are loud and raucous. If you are looking for a place to rest your head, and get a decent night's sleep... DON'T move in here. Wish I had the money to leave, but I'm stuck. (dang it!)
Sep 12, 2023 · Patricia JohnsonI rode through this park the other day looking for a mobile home to buy. There were several nice homes for sale but the park leaves much to be desired. While a few yards/sites are kept up nicely, there are many that are not and seem to have not been maintained. Quite trashy looking, to be honest. It's a shame because the location is great and convenient and there is not another mobile home park close by.The owners of the park should take more pride in their neighborhood and do something to make it more desirable.I would have purchased one of the homes if the park was nicer.
Jul 14, 2016 · LuAnn SkokI go visit my Aunt Becky with my uncle Ray at the mobile home park. It's always clean when we drive through the park! I see people working to keep the place clean all the time!! I see the same guy a lot hes always busy doing something. It's also a quiet place to live and close to Wal-Mart and other stores in the plaza. There's lots of places close to Boston Road Mobilehome park also.
Nov 09, 2019 · *Lucas*I went to visit a relative the place was a Very clean Mobile home park. I was impressed with the grounds after not going there for so long. It was quiet and a place I wouldn't mind staying at if I were ever interested in purchasing a mobile home.
