Welcome to Cedarwood Trails Manufactured Home Community, located at 6008 Moeller Rd in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Situated in Allen County, this community offers a residential setting with manufactured homes. For local users searching for 'RV parks near me' or considering alternative long-term accommodation options in the Fort Wayne area, it's important to understand both the potential benefits and drawbacks highlighted in the available reviews of Cedarwood Trails Manufactured Home Community.
Cedarwood Trails Manufactured Home Community can be contacted directly at the phone number (260) 749-9724 or the mobile phone number +1 260-749-9724 for inquiries regarding residency, availability, and community policies. Direct communication with the management is crucial for obtaining detailed and current information.
Based on the available online reviews, Cedarwood Trails Manufactured Home Community presents a mixed perspective. One reviewer expresses several significant concerns regarding the management and the upkeep of the community. A primary issue raised is the increasing price of residency, coupled with perceived shortcomings in maintenance responsiveness. The reviewer mentions an instance where a plumbing issue was initially said to be addressed by the park's plumber but was subsequently deemed the resident's responsibility. This inconsistency in service provision is a notable point of concern.
The same reviewer also highlights issues related to grounds maintenance, specifically regarding complaints about grass height, which they feel are unwarranted, regardless of whether the grass has recently been cut. Additionally, dissatisfaction is expressed with the leaf pickup system in the community. These points suggest potential inconsistencies or inadequacies in the overall maintenance of the grounds.
Furthermore, the review mentions a lack of assigned parking spots, which can often lead to inconvenience in residential communities. The reviewer also notes a perceived tolerance for certain behaviors within the park, such as parking in the road, littering in others' yards, and leaving toys in common areas. Simultaneously, the reviewer expresses difficulty in obtaining help for issues that they believe fall under the lease agreement. These observations paint a picture of potentially inconsistent enforcement of community standards and challenges in resident-management interactions regarding maintenance and rules.
In contrast to these concerns about management and maintenance, another reviewer offers a positive note regarding the location of Cedarwood Trails Manufactured Home Community, describing it as "great." However, this positive aspect is counterbalanced by a significant drawback: thin walls leading to noise issues. The reviewer states that they could hear their neighbors throughout the night, suggesting a lack of sound insulation between the homes, which can significantly impact residents' comfort and quality of life.
Considering the platform category 'RV parks near me,' Cedarwood Trails Manufactured Home Community offers a different type of long-term living arrangement compared to the temporary stays typically associated with RV parks. While RV parks cater to recreational vehicles and short-term visitors, manufactured home communities like Cedarwood Trails provide a more permanent residential setting with manufactured homes. However, for individuals searching for a long-term living option in the Fort Wayne area, the reviews of Cedarwood Trails highlight important factors to consider alongside the location.
The increasing price of residency mentioned in one review is a crucial factor for prospective residents to investigate further. Understanding the rate and frequency of these increases, as well as what is included in the lot rent, is essential for budgeting and long-term financial planning.
The inconsistencies in maintenance responsibility and the perceived inadequacies in groundskeeping, such as leaf pickup, are also important aspects to discuss with the management. Clarifying the park's policies on maintenance and the process for addressing resident concerns is advisable.
The lack of assigned parking and the alleged tolerance of disruptive behaviors like parking in the road and littering could impact the overall convenience and aesthetic of the community. Prospective residents should inquire about the parking situation and the enforcement of community rules.
The issue of thin walls and nighttime noise from neighbors, as mentioned by one reviewer, is a significant concern for those who value a quiet living environment. Inquiring about the construction and soundproofing of the homes, as well as any community policies on noise, would be prudent.
While the location is noted as being great, the specific benefits of this location are not detailed in the reviews. Prospective residents should explore the proximity to amenities, services, transportation options, and other factors that make the location desirable.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for Cedarwood Trails Manufactured Home Community based on the provided reviews. Individuals interested in learning about current residency opportunities, lot availability, or any special offers should contact the management directly at the provided phone numbers. Inquiring about lot fees, lease terms, community rules and regulations, and any available amenities would also be essential for prospective residents to make an informed decision.
In conclusion, Cedarwood Trails Manufactured Home Community in Fort Wayne, Indiana, offers a location that at least one reviewer found to be great. However, the reviews also raise significant concerns regarding increasing prices, inconsistent maintenance responsiveness, issues with parking and community rules, and noise due to thin walls. For local users searching for 'RV parks near me' who might be considering a longer-term residential setting, Cedarwood Trails presents a community with both potential advantages and notable drawbacks that require careful consideration and direct inquiry with the management at (260) 749-9724. Prospective residents should weigh the value of the location against the reported issues with management, maintenance, and noise before making a decision.

Cedarwood Trails Manufactured Home Community Reviews
The price just keeps increasing and one day they say will send a plumber out to fix the issue the next being told it's my issue and always complaining about grass being higher rather it's just been cut or not they don't have a very good leaf pickup system either and they don't have assigned parking spots but apparently you can park in the road here as a parking spot and throw trash in the yards of others and leave your toys where ever but getting help as part of the lease agreement is a issue
Mar 04, 2025 · Tyler CouttsThe location was great, but the walls were thin, and I could hear my neighbors all night.
Feb 07, 2025 · QuantumGlowHaven't lived there in years but my mom enjoys it
Dec 18, 2024 · Patrick SeibertRHP manufacturing is a joke they are selling a trailer I own and have a mortgage and insurance in my name but can't live there it's for sale. They have problems of evicting people. They want to much for lot rent and trailer payments on top of utilities. They have a history with elder abuse. Trying to raise your family there I would not recommend trust me cedarwood trails mobile home park will be the worst nightmare you ever had
Feb 08, 2024 · Jewel GonceAbsolutely not a great place to live. Overpriced and poorly managed. The management team is nowhere to be found during office hours, but will tell you to stop by the office if you need them. I suppose getting paid to do nothing but issue fines to people, that are already broke, is a great way to make a living for these people. Buy a trailer here at your own risk, but I would not recommend it in this lifetime.
