Briarwood Mobile Home Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Plant City, Florida region, it's important to differentiate between parks primarily designed for recreational vehicles and those that function as mobile home parks, catering mainly to long-term residents in manufactured homes. Briarwood Mobile Home Park, situated at 4002 Smith Ryals Rd, Plant City, FL 33567, USA, appears to be the latter. While it may potentially accommodate some RVs, understanding its primary function and the experiences of its residents is crucial for anyone considering it as a living option, whether short-term or long-term.
Based on the available customer reviews, Briarwood Mobile Home Park presents a somewhat contrasting picture. One resident describes it as a "Peaceful manufactured home park, in the proximity of Plant City," highlighting a potentially tranquil environment. This reviewer also praises the management, specifically mentioning "Good, friendly management" and noting that "Angie is a friendly dedicated manager she runs a tight ship!" Furthermore, this review points out that "The park is updating its property" and suggests that those seeking a "country and clean air" environment should consider having a look.
This positive feedback suggests that Briarwood Mobile Home Park may offer a quiet, community-oriented setting with proactive management focused on maintaining and improving the property. The proximity to Plant City offers residents access to local amenities, while the "country and clean air" aspect implies a more relaxed, less urban atmosphere.
However, another review presents a significantly different perspective, raising serious concerns. This reviewer alleges that "The grounds maintenance people claim to be the 'owner'. As well as being racist and unfair to the tenants that live here and threatening to call ICE." These are very serious accusations that, if accurate, would indicate a hostile and discriminatory environment for some residents. The mention of threats to call ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) is particularly alarming and suggests potential issues related to immigration status and tenant rights.
The same negative review further claims that "They also took over the park and never gave anyone a new contract and raised the rent and water prices on everyone. Don’t ever give them a dime or second of yours." This paints a picture of instability and potential mismanagement, with allegations of unilateral changes to rental agreements and increased costs for residents. The strong negative recommendation at the end of the review underscores the severity of this individual's experience.
Given these conflicting accounts, it is challenging to form a definitive objective assessment of Briarwood Mobile Home Park without further information or investigation. The positive review suggests a well-managed and peaceful community undergoing improvements, while the negative review paints a picture of alleged racism, unfair treatment, and financial instability. It is possible that these reviews reflect different time periods, different experiences within the park, or even isolated incidents.
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in Plant City, it would be prudent to seek out parks specifically designed and advertised for RVs. These facilities typically offer amenities and services tailored to recreational vehicles and shorter-term stays. Mobile home parks, like Briarwood, primarily cater to long-term residents in manufactured homes, and their policies and community dynamics may not be suitable for all RV travelers.
If, however, you are considering long-term residency in a mobile home park in the Plant City area, Briarwood Mobile Home Park warrants careful consideration and further investigation due to the starkly contrasting reviews. It would be essential to:
- Contact the management directly at (813) 737-2110 or +1 813-737-2110 to inquire about current conditions, policies, and availability.
- If possible, speak to current residents to gain a broader understanding of their experiences and perspectives.
- Inquire about the alleged changes in ownership or management and their impact on residents.
- Clarify the terms of any rental agreements and any recent changes in fees or contracts.
- If considering residency and if applicable, understand the park's policies regarding guests and visitors.
The mention of ongoing property updates in the positive review suggests that the park may be in a state of transition, which could potentially explain some of the contrasting experiences. It is possible that recent changes in management or ownership are contributing to the different perceptions among residents.
For those specifically looking for "RV living Plant City" options, exploring dedicated RV parks might offer a more predictable and suitable environment with amenities specifically catering to RVs. These parks often provide a range of site sizes, hookup options, and community features designed for travelers and temporary residents.
In conclusion, Briarwood Mobile Home Park in Plant City, FL, presents a complex picture based on the limited available reviews. While one resident describes a peaceful and well-managed community undergoing improvements, another alleges serious issues including racism, unfair treatment, and financial instability. Potential residents, whether in RVs or considering long-term mobile home living, should exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current environment and management practices at Briarwood Mobile Home Park.

Oct 23, 2019 · cordell vickersIm currently being thrown out with my three children because my husband who is a disabled veteran who has mental conditions devends his daughter after being continuously is being bullied my the management son not to mention her husband who instigated a fight with my brother who was visiting. Everything was ok til it came to her child. 6000 they took from me just to be treated so unfair then when i contacted the owner was told i needed to come to the office and three way her. How professional so now im seeking legal action for the unjust treatment i have a few letters from other homeowners about everything that goes on lets see what an attorney can do about the unfair treatment.
Jun 08, 2016 · Annamariejohn AdkinsWould be a nice neighborhood if the management where not so horrible. They are unfair and pick and choose what rules are to follow and who has to follow the rules. Very bias and unprofessional.
Jun 02, 2016 · Amanda DuPontMy grandma lives in Briarwood so that's the only thing I like about the park, people not watching their children and blocking the roads are what bumps the rating down.
