Bridger Creek Introduce
Are you currently searching for "RV parks near me" in the Watonga, Oklahoma area? Bridger Creek RV Park, located at 81124 North 2510 Rd, Watonga, OK 73772, USA, offers a location that at least one reviewer found "absolutely a great place to stay" due to its scenic environment featuring a pond with ducks and geese. However, it is crucial for prospective guests to be aware of another review detailing extremely negative experiences with the owner, significant infrastructure issues including leaking and filthy water lines leading to sinkholes, and unresolved financial matters. This contrasting feedback presents a complex picture that requires careful consideration by local users exploring their RV park options.
The address on North 2510 Road suggests a location that may offer a more rural or natural setting outside the immediate vicinity of Watonga. Watonga is situated in Blaine County in central Oklahoma, known for its proximity to the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge and the Great Salt Plains Lake. The mention of a pond with ducks and geese in one of the reviews aligns with the possibility of a more natural environment at Bridger Creek RV Park, potentially offering a pleasant visual and auditory experience for nature lovers. The reviewer who found it "beautiful" likely appreciated these natural elements.
However, the positive description of the environment is starkly contrasted by a review detailing serious issues. This reviewer alleges an "extremely rude owner," which can significantly impact the overall experience and comfort of guests. Beyond interpersonal issues, the review raises significant concerns about the park's infrastructure, stating "Water line leaking throughout the park. Water is filthy. Sink holes from leaks in water line." These are not minor inconveniences but potentially serious health and safety hazards. Leaking water lines can lead to wasted water, reduced water pressure, and damage to the surrounding ground. Filthy water raises concerns about the potability and safety of the water supply for RV use. The development of sinkholes due to leaks poses a physical danger to both RVs and individuals within the park.
The same negative review further elaborates on the consequences of these infrastructure problems, stating, "My trailer sank 6 inches due to them and caused a major problem to hook back up and leave." This is a severe consequence of the alleged sinkholes, indicating a potential for significant damage to RVs and considerable inconvenience for owners trying to maneuver their vehicles. Such a situation could also raise liability concerns for the park management.
Adding to the negative experience, the reviewer also claims a financial grievance: "I was not refunded for the additional days I paid for up front like they said I would be if I left early..." This suggests a breach of agreement regarding refunds and poor customer service in handling financial transactions. The combination of a rude owner, hazardous infrastructure, and unresolved financial issues paints a deeply troubling picture of Bridger Creek RV Park from at least one guest's perspective.
Considering the platform category of "RV parks near me," Bridger Creek RV Park might attract individuals looking for a seemingly scenic location with a pond and wildlife. The positive review, though brief, highlights these natural attractions. However, the detailed and severe allegations in the negative review regarding the owner's behavior and the park's infrastructure cannot be ignored. Potential guests must weigh the potential beauty of the location against the significant risks and negative experiences reported by another user.
Based on the limited and conflicting reviews, the environment of Bridger Creek RV Park is described as having a pond with ducks and geese, suggesting a potentially pleasant natural setting. However, this is juxtaposed with allegations of widespread water line leaks, filthy water, and sinkholes, indicating a poorly maintained and potentially hazardous environment. The services and features are not detailed beyond the presence of water lines (albeit leaking and filthy). The behavior of the owner is described as "extremely rude" by one reviewer, while the other makes no mention of management.
Given the severity of the issues raised in the negative review, potential local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Watonga should exercise extreme caution when considering Bridger Creek RV Park. The allegations of a rude owner, significant infrastructure problems posing safety risks, and unresolved financial disputes are serious red flags. While the presence of a pond and wildlife might be appealing, these positive aspects are overshadowed by the potential for a negative and problematic experience.
No promotional information is available, and in light of the negative feedback, any potential promotions would need to be carefully evaluated against the reported issues. It is unlikely that a discounted rate would compensate for dealing with a rude owner, filthy water, sinkholes that could damage your RV, and the risk of not receiving promised refunds.
In conclusion, Bridger Creek RV Park in Watonga, Oklahoma, presents a dichotomy based on the limited reviews. One reviewer found it to be a "great place" with a beautiful pond and wildlife. However, another detailed extremely negative experiences with a rude owner, significant infrastructure problems including leaking and filthy water lines leading to sinkholes that damaged their RV, and unresolved refund issues. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" should carefully consider these conflicting reports and exercise extreme caution before deciding to stay at Bridger Creek RV Park. The serious allegations regarding safety and customer service warrant thorough investigation and consideration of alternative RV parks in the Watonga area.

Feb 18, 2019 · ED. FORCE, AZDefinitely would not recommend staying here. Our trailer kept sinking and would not stay level. when brought up to the owners that we thought the water line was bad under our trailer (water had been off because of this by another trailer) because of sinking and lots of holes we were told we were rude and then refused to respond when we were leaving and they owed us money they said they would refund. save your time and look else where
