Brookside Village Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local individuals and families in the South Vienna, Ohio, area who are exploring housing options under the category "rv parks near me," with a potential interest in long-term residency within a mobile home park, Brookside Village Mobile Home Park, located at 1962 Mahar Rd, South Vienna, OH 45369, USA, offers a residential community. While the search category typically suggests temporary recreational vehicle accommodations, mobile home parks often cater to individuals who own their homes and lease the land. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Brookside Village based on the available and somewhat contradictory feedback from online reviews.
The reviews for Brookside Village Mobile Home Park present a range of experiences and opinions. Several residents express positive sentiments. One simply states, "I like living here," indicating a general satisfaction with the community. Another highlights the quiet environment of the park and its convenient location, noting that it is only about 15 minutes away from essential amenities like Walmart and a Murphy's USA gas station. This suggests that Brookside Village offers a peaceful setting while still being within reasonable proximity to shopping and services.
Furthermore, one review mentions ongoing efforts to improve the park, stating that "The Brookside Mobile Home Park is doing a lot of upgrading and bringing in NEW mobile homes into the park and making it a better place to live and have great neighbors." This indicates a positive trajectory for the community, with investments being made to modernize the housing stock and enhance the overall living environment. The mention of "great neighbors" also points to a potentially friendly and supportive community atmosphere. The reviewer even included a picture of one of the new trailers, further emphasizing the ongoing upgrades.
However, not all feedback is positive. One reviewer strongly advises against living at Brookside Village, raising serious concerns about the park manager. This individual alleges that the manager "tells everyone your business to other people" and "lies on people." Such behavior would clearly erode trust and create a negative social environment within the community. The reviewer also claims that the manager "blocks your account to where you can't pay the rent" and is "never in the office when she needs to be." These are significant accusations that suggest potential mismanagement and difficulties in essential administrative processes, such as rent payment and communication with the management.
Adding to the negative aspects, this reviewer mentions that "the kids that are out here can't have pools or swings." This indicates restrictive community rules that may impact families with children and limit recreational activities within individual lots. Such restrictions can be a significant drawback for potential residents with families.
Considering these diverse perspectives, the environment of Brookside Village Mobile Home Park appears to be in a state of transition. While some residents appreciate its quiet atmosphere, convenient location, and the ongoing upgrades with new mobile homes, others have serious concerns about the management's conduct and restrictive community rules. The presence of new homes could suggest an improving aesthetic and quality of housing in some parts of the park, but the allegations against the manager and the limitations on children's activities paint a less favorable picture of the overall living experience for some.
The information regarding services and amenities at Brookside Village is limited. The ongoing upgrades suggest that the infrastructure might be improving with the introduction of new mobile homes, which would typically include modern utility hookups. However, the reviews do not explicitly mention other services such as trash removal, maintenance of common areas, laundry facilities, community centers, or recreational spaces beyond the restriction on pools and swings. The negative review concerning account blocking for rent payment raises concerns about the reliability and fairness of administrative services.
The features of Brookside Village, such as lot sizes, parking availability, and the general layout of the park, are not detailed in the reviews, aside from the mention of new trailers being brought in. The rule prohibiting pools and swings for children is a notable feature that could influence the decision of families considering residency.
Finally, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. Details about lot rental rates, move-in specials for new homes, or any incentives related to the ongoing upgrades are not mentioned. Individuals interested in residency would need to contact the management directly to inquire about these aspects.
In conclusion, for local individuals in South Vienna, Ohio, who are exploring "rv parks near me" for long-term housing, Brookside Village Mobile Home Park presents a community with both positive developments and significant concerns. The quiet environment, convenient location, and ongoing upgrades with new homes are appealing factors. However, serious allegations against the park manager regarding unprofessional conduct and administrative issues, along with restrictive rules affecting children's activities, are significant drawbacks that prospective residents must consider carefully. It is strongly recommended that interested individuals contact the management directly using the provided phone numbers: (937) 400-1734 or +1 937-400-1734 to seek clarification on the concerns raised in the negative review and to obtain detailed information about current policies, services, amenities, lot availability, and rental rates. Additionally, if possible, seeking feedback from a wider range of current residents would provide a more balanced perspective on the living experience at Brookside Village Mobile Home Park.

Jan 04, 2024 · Anna PetersonDon't live here the park manager tells everyone your business to other people and she lies on people and blocks your account to where you can't pay the rent and is never in the office when she needs to be. Lousy place to live and the kids that are out here can't have pools or swings.
Sep 27, 2024 · Christian BoekeMy mom lives here and before that my grandmother was in the same home it's really quiet country place to live a few kids but nothing out of hand and really good friendly plp live here everyone seems to my their own business I don't think I seen sheriff's here at all just a few times and she's lived there since 2012.. good place good plp
Aug 06, 2024 · David FieldI love living here. I’ve never had anything stolen and the manager is great. And it’s quiet and safe. I’ve been here over 3 years now.
Dec 29, 2023 · Dawn RobinsonThe trailers are ran down. They wont fix anything even if you put in a work order. Some people don't get the same treatment as others. They will make you pay high rent but refuse to fix anything. The property manager blames the prior manager for the issues. But she shares personal information about tenants with the former manager and other residents because she doesn't know how to do her job. The property manager is never in the office during the hours she is supposed to be. The owners really should take a look onto the property. If they plan on keeping this place they really need to go a different route!!!!
