Mountain Villa Estates 55+ Community Introduce
Mountain Villa Estates 55+ Community, located at 1099 Mountain Villa Dr, Enumclaw, WA 98022, USA, is advertised as a 55+ community, suggesting it caters to senior living, potentially including both mobile homes and accommodations for recreational vehicles. For those seeking 'RV parks near me' specifically designed for seniors in a quieter, age-restricted environment near Enumclaw, Mountain Villa Estates presents itself as a possibility. They can be contacted at (833) 899-5097 or +1 833-899-5097 for inquiries about residency options, including RV site availability and long-term mobile home living.
Based on the limited information available from online reviews, the environment of Mountain Villa Estates 55+ Community appears to have both positive and negative aspects. One long-term resident of 22 years recounts a significant negative experience related to the installation of a new home nearby. This resulted in damage to their property, including the tearing up of their backyard and side yard, damage to bushes, destruction of a park bench, and removal of skirting. The promised repairs by a previous manager were allegedly not completed due to budget constraints, and the current manager reportedly does not consider it her responsibility. This situation has left the resident with unusable land and the added expense of hiring yard maintenance, with some companies refusing service due to the dangerous condition of the affected areas. This paints a picture of potential issues with park management responsiveness to resident concerns and the upkeep of individual lots following construction or utility work.
In contrast, another reviewer, who has been at Mountain Villa Estates for less than two years, offers a more balanced perspective. They note that "park management replies to issues quickly, which is very appreciated!" and that they are "pleasant to work with." This suggests that the current management team may be responsive to addressing immediate concerns raised by residents. However, this positive aspect is overshadowed by their frustration with "incredibly over-priced" rent and significant rent increases, totaling over $200 per month in less than two years. They are currently paying $1,187.00, which rises to approximately $1,250.00 with water and sewer. This indicates that while management may be communicative, the cost of living, particularly the rent, could be a significant drawback for potential residents, especially those on a fixed income common in a 55+ community.
The services and features of Mountain Villa Estates 55+ Community are not extensively detailed in the provided reviews. Typically, a 55+ mobile home and RV community would offer essential services such as water, sewer, and electrical hookups for RV sites and connections for mobile homes. Given that it is marketed as a community, there might be additional amenities aimed at seniors, such as a clubhouse, recreational facilities, or organized activities. However, the negative review regarding the damaged property and unfulfilled promises raises concerns about the reliability of park maintenance and the responsiveness of management to long-term issues. The positive comment about quick replies to issues suggests that day-to-day concerns might be addressed promptly, but larger maintenance or repair issues could be problematic. Prospective residents, particularly those with RVs, should inquire specifically about the condition of the sites, the availability and upkeep of utilities, and any additional amenities offered for recreational vehicles, such as dump stations or wash areas. For those considering long-term mobile home living, it is crucial to understand the terms of the lease, the responsibilities of the park versus the resident regarding maintenance, and the process for addressing any property-related issues.
The features of Mountain Villa Estates 55+ Community, beyond basic utilities and potential management responsiveness, are not clearly outlined in the reviews. The "55+ Community" designation itself is a key feature, indicating an age-restricted environment that may appeal to seniors seeking a quieter lifestyle among peers. However, the negative experience of the long-term resident regarding property damage and unresolved repairs raises questions about the overall quality of life and the park's commitment to maintaining resident properties. The significant rent increases reported by another resident could also be seen as a negative feature, potentially impacting the affordability of living in the community over time. While the management is described as pleasant and responsive to immediate issues, the handling of longer-term problems appears to be a concern. Potential residents should inquire about the community's rules and regulations, any available recreational facilities or social activities for seniors, pet policies, and the overall sense of community within Mountain Villa Estates. Understanding these aspects will be crucial in determining if this 55+ community meets their expectations for senior living.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for Mountain Villa Estates 55+ Community in the provided data. Individuals interested in short-term RV stays or long-term mobile home lot rentals should contact the park directly at (833) 899-5097 or +1 833-899-5097 to inquire about current rates, availability, and any potential special offers for seniors or new residents. Given the concerns raised about rent increases, it would be prudent to ask about the history of rent adjustments and the terms of any lease agreements regarding future increases. For RVers, inquiring about daily, weekly, and monthly rates, as well as any senior discounts, would be beneficial. Understanding all associated costs, including utilities and any community fees, is essential for budgeting. Potential residents might also want to ask about any incentives for new mobile home owners or any programs designed to support senior living within the community.
In conclusion, Mountain Villa Estates 55+ Community in Enumclaw, Washington, offers an age-restricted environment for seniors seeking RV accommodations or long-term mobile home living. While the current management is described as responsive and pleasant to work with, significant concerns have been raised by a long-term resident regarding unresolved property damage and by another resident regarding substantial rent increases. Individuals searching for 'RV parks near me' for seniors or considering making Mountain Villa Estates their home should carefully weigh these contrasting experiences. Direct communication with the management at (833) 899-5097 is crucial to obtain current information about availability, services, features, and pricing, as well as to inquire about how the park addresses maintenance issues and manages rent increases for its residents. It would be advisable to ask detailed questions and potentially seek further feedback from current residents to gain a comprehensive understanding of the living experience at Mountain Villa Estates 55+ Community.

Mountain Villa Estates 55+ Community Reviews
When a new home was put in next to me my back yard and side yard was torn up. When the park layout was planned my home was to be the last home on the street before leaving two empty lots for water drainage. When they attempted to connect the sewer line to the new house they dug up my back yard, damaged bushes, destroyed a park bench I had back there, removed some of my skirting and were still unable to connect! The manager at the time “promised” to replace bench, remove the huge tree roots that had been dug up, fill in the holes and plant grass. I constantly heard “not in the budget this month”. She left, some say fired some say she quit. Either way I’m left paying rent on land that is unusable. New manager says not her problem, my fault for not getting the previous manager to get it done. I’ve had three rent raises since this started. I’m handicapped so pay to have grass cut, my usual person will not cut beyond a certain point on the side yard and will not do the back, even with a weed wicker because it is so dangerous to walk back there. I’ve contacted two other yard maintenance companies and after looking at the area refused to do work. I would also like to mention that I reported this Manager to DHSH for elder abuse. The times I tried to have a conversation with her about the situation she would talk over me and raised her voice in a very angry manner. In other words she is a bully and very disrespectful. I have an advocate who represents me in any situation requiring communication with the office. I’ve lived here for 22 years and gone through 6 or 7 managers, the present manager is possibly the worst. It would be interest to know what the criteria Cal-Am uses in hiring their employees.
Jan 15, 2025 · Elaine LynestPark rent is incredibly over-priced. we have been here less than 2 years, and rent increases have raised over $200/month. The park management replies to issues quickly, which is very appreciated! They are pleasant to work with, just a little frustrated with the rent increases. Currently paying $1,187.00, with water and sewer its about $1,250.00.
Jan 16, 2025 · Paula ScappiniA nice place to live, but space rent is outrageous for seniors that are on fixed income! I've lived in this park for about 7 years and I'm paying $500 more. My social security check hasn't gone up enough to even cover my space rent. Gina and Jenn are doing a good job though.
Apr 21, 2025 · Karen FosterThey raise the space rent yearly, but add no additional services. This is a 55+ community and many of the residents are on fixed incomes. The extreme rate increases of more than 8% can be hard for some to afford. Community rules are arbitrary and not enforced for all equally. Example, fences have to be approved, white vinyl and can’t be more than 4 ft tall, yet an 6-8 ft wood fence was installed at the Manager’s home? Trash/recycle bins are supposed to be hidden from the street view, yet the Manager’s bins are always in the carport. If I could afford to move and sell my mobile home here I would, but unfortunately I can’t. I love the town of Enumclaw, but would not recommend buying/renting in Mountain Villa Estates.
Jan 15, 2025 · Mona GreenI feel from my heart that Gina is doing a great job finding fun things to do but also from.my heart she needs to give some of her work load to Jenn ad learn more about the community. I know there's a lot people in the park but if she take one a day or possibly and make an appt to their home and just find out things they like and things they don't like. Get to know them as neighbors. Help them to understand where she's coming from also.
