Buck Lake Mobile Home & RV Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" along the scenic Oregon Coast, particularly in the Florence area, Buck Lake Mobile Home & RV Park, located at 89510 US-101, presents a unique blend of mobile home living and potential RV accommodations. This introduction aims to provide local users with a detailed overview of the park based on the available customer reviews, highlighting both the positive aspects of its environment and the concerns raised regarding recent management changes and amenities.
One reviewer describes Buck Lake Mobile Home & RV Park as a "cutest little park" that, while older, possesses a "quite quaint" charm. This suggests a park with an established character and a potentially welcoming atmosphere. The reviewer emphasizes its "woodsy" environment, which could appeal to those seeking a more natural and shaded setting among RV parks near me. The proximity to coastal living is also highlighted, indicating that residents and RVers can easily enjoy the benefits of being near the Oregon Coast, such as fresh air and the sounds of the surf.
The location of Buck Lake Mobile Home & RV Park is further praised for its convenience to the town of Florence while still feeling like a "world away." This suggests a desirable balance between peaceful, natural surroundings and easy access to local amenities, shops, and services. The mention of "lake views" adds to the potential appeal, indicating that some sites or areas within the park may offer scenic vistas of a nearby lake, enhancing the overall environment for both mobile home residents and RV visitors looking for RV parks near me with natural beauty.
The same positive review also emphasizes the abundance of nature, suggesting that the park and its surroundings offer opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. This could include wildlife viewing, peaceful walks, or simply soaking in the natural beauty of the Oregon Coast. For those seeking RV parks near me that provide a connection with nature, Buck Lake Mobile Home & RV Park's description is encouraging.
The reviewer, who identifies as an owner in the park, strongly defends the management and owner, describing them as "good people" who have done a good job looking out for the homeowners' best interests and safety. This positive endorsement from a resident suggests a well-managed community where the needs and safety of its long-term residents are a priority. This could also translate to a positive experience for RV visitors seeking a well-cared-for environment among RV parks near me.
However, a contrasting review presents a concerning perspective on the changes that have occurred at Buck Lake Mobile Home & RV Park under new management. This former resident, who lived in the park for two and a half years, details a reduction in amenities coupled with an increase in rent. Initially, the rent was $385 per month and included access to a laundry room, showers, restrooms, and overnight camping facilities. Under new management, the rent reportedly increased to $410 per month, while the laundry room, showers, and overnight camping were eliminated. This significant reduction in services for a higher price is a serious concern for anyone considering long-term residency or looking for RV parks near me that offer these essential amenities.
The former resident also notes "minimal upkeep" of the property and an "absent" property owner, which could contribute to a decline in the overall environment and quality of the park. While they state that they paid their rent on time without complaints, they were still evicted. This raises serious questions about the management's practices and the stability of residency within the park, which could be a significant deterrent for those considering making Buck Lake Mobile Home & RV Park their long-term home or even a temporary RV stop if the management practices extend to RV guests.
The stark contrast between these two reviews highlights a potential period of significant change and perhaps decline in certain aspects of Buck Lake Mobile Home & RV Park. While the park may still retain its quaint, woodsy charm and convenient location near Florence and the coast, the reduction in amenities and the eviction experience reported by a former long-term resident are serious concerns that potential visitors and residents should carefully consider.
For those specifically searching for "RV parks near me" with amenities like laundry facilities, showers, and overnight camping, the recent review indicates that these may no longer be available at Buck Lake Mobile Home & RV Park. This is crucial information for RV travelers who rely on these services. The focus of the park may have shifted primarily towards long-term mobile home residents, with RV accommodations potentially being less of a priority under the new management.
Given the conflicting information, it is essential for anyone considering Buck Lake Mobile Home & RV Park, either for mobile home living or as an RV stop, to contact the management directly using the provided phone numbers – (541) 997-8270 or +1 541-997-8270 – to inquire about the current amenities, rental rates, management policies, and the availability of RV sites. Asking specific questions about the laundry facilities, showers, restrooms, and overnight camping options is crucial to get an accurate understanding of the current situation.
The reviews do not provide any information about specific promotional offers or long-term stay discounts that might be available. Interested parties should inquire directly with the management regarding any such incentives. Checking online travel platforms or the park's website (if one exists) might also provide additional information or more recent reviews.
In conclusion, Buck Lake Mobile Home & RV Park in Florence, Oregon, offers a potentially charming, woodsy environment with lake views and convenient access to the coast and the town of Florence. A long-term resident praises the management and the community. However, a former resident reports a significant reduction in amenities and an increase in rent under new management, culminating in an eviction despite on-time payments. For those searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living here, it is crucial to weigh these contrasting perspectives and to contact the park directly to obtain the most current information on amenities, policies, and the overall environment before making a decision.

Buck Lake Mobile Home & RV Park Reviews
This is the cutest little park! It's older, yes, but quite quaint. It's woodsy and lots of benefit for anyone who just wants to enjoy coastal living. You're minutes from town but it seems a world away. Fresh air, surf sounds, lake views and plenty of natures best...I've read some negative comments, but you know, shame on them! All you have to do is follow some basic (common sense) rules and there is no problem. The management & owner are good people and have done a good job looking out for the home owners best interest and safety. I've been in that position and it's not as easy as one would think. I am an owner in this park and can honestly say it's a really special place. Love it! Love it!
May 03, 2018 · Kathy MendezWe lived here for 2 1/2 years. Rent started out at $385.00 with laundry room, showers, rest rooms and overnight camping. New management. Rent went up to $410.00 a month, no laundry room, no showers, no over night camping. Up keep minimal. Property owner absent. No complaints, paid on time like clock work. Still EVICTED
Mar 11, 2018 · Denise StrawsBUYER BEWARE!! This is not a good place to buy into because the manager of the park is a vengeful man. He stalks the single woman and/or people with handicaps who live here. If they stand up for themselves, he will try any way he can to cause trouble for them up to and including eviction. What is ok for one tenant may cause another to be evicted. He will look in your windows, give verbal ok's for changes to the spaces and then if you do something he doesn't like, his verbal ok is used as a weapon against you, he will video residents without permission, etc. He likes to try to ruin peoples lives and has had several people evicted from the park and taken their trailers when they run out of time to sell because he is dragging his feet to approve the new tenant. He still terrorizes some of the residents there that he was unable to get out because they have sharp attorneys.
Feb 12, 2018 · Michelle Sargentibeautiful small park under new ownership. unfortunately the new millionaire owners have chosen to slum lord the property as the former owner did.
