Lakeshore RV Park Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Florence, Oregon area, Lakeshore RV Park, located at 83763 US-101, Florence, OR 97439, USA, presents a mixed picture based on the limited customer reviews available. As a Passport America RV Park, it may offer discounted rates to members. It's also noted that there are new owners, which could potentially lead to changes in the park's conditions and services.
The environment of Lakeshore RV Park appears to have both positive and negative aspects. One reviewer explicitly states that the "bathrooms and laundry areas are filthy," using strong language to convey their extreme dissatisfaction with the cleanliness of these facilities. This is a significant concern for potential visitors who prioritize hygiene and well-maintained common areas. Conversely, another reviewer who mentioned the Passport America affiliation found the "place was clean," which directly contradicts the first review. This discrepancy suggests a potential inconsistency in cleanliness standards or perhaps a change in conditions due to the new ownership mentioned.
In terms of services, Lakeshore RV Park offers pull-thru campsites, which are generally appreciated by RVers for their ease of access, especially for larger rigs or those preferring a straightforward setup and departure. The park also reportedly offers cable TV, although one reviewer noted that it was "difficult to get figured out" but was eventually resolved with the help of a park resident. A notable absence in the services mentioned is Wi-Fi, which could be a drawback for travelers who rely on internet connectivity during their stay.
The presence of several permanent trailers within the park is mentioned, which is not uncommon in some RV parks. However, the reviewer who noted this also added that "everyone was friendly," suggesting a positive sense of community among the residents, which could be a welcoming aspect for new visitors. The park's location along Highway 101 is convenient for travel but does result in "some traffic noise," although this was reportedly "not too loud" for one reviewer. However, individuals sensitive to noise might want to consider this factor when choosing a site within the park.
Features of Lakeshore RV Park include its affiliation with Passport America, potentially offering discounted rates to members. The availability of pull-thru campsites is a significant convenience for many RVers. The provision of cable TV, despite potential setup challenges, is another feature. The friendly atmosphere reported by one reviewer, even with a number of permanent residents, contributes to a sense of community. However, the conflicting reports regarding the cleanliness of bathrooms and laundry areas are a crucial point to consider. The lack of Wi-Fi might be a disadvantage for some travelers.
Given the mention of new owners, it is difficult to ascertain if there are any specific promotional offers currently in place. As a Passport America park, discounts are likely available to members, but the extent of these discounts or any other promotions are not detailed in the provided reviews. Local users interested in potential rates and specials should contact the park directly.
In conclusion, Lakeshore RV Park in Florence presents a somewhat uncertain picture for potential local users searching for "RV parks near me." While it offers the benefits of pull-thru sites, cable TV, and a potentially friendly community atmosphere, its cleanliness standards, particularly in the bathrooms and laundry areas, are a significant point of concern based on one explicit review. The other review found the park clean, suggesting possible inconsistencies or changes under new ownership. The lack of Wi-Fi and the presence of some traffic noise from Highway 101 are additional factors to consider. For Passport America members, the potential for discounted rates could be an advantage. Given the conflicting feedback and the mention of new ownership, it is highly recommended that local users contact Lakeshore RV Park directly at (541) 997-2741 or +1 541-997-2741 to inquire about the current conditions, cleanliness protocols, Wi-Fi availability, noise levels, and any potential promotions or Passport America discounts. Visiting the location at 83763 US-101, Florence, OR 97439, USA, might also provide a more up-to-date and personal assessment of the park before making a decision.

Lakeshore RV Park Reviews
Bathrooms and laundry areas are filthy!!! Don't you people EVER clean them...OMG! DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!
Apr 07, 2025 · Linda BrushThis is a Passport America RV Park. I understand there are new owners, so this could change. Price is reasonable, & the place was clean. Pull thru camp sites, & easy to get into. The cable tv was difficult to get figured out, but one of the park residents was most helpful getting that to work. No WIFI. Several permanent trailers here, but everyone was friendly. Some traffic noise from Hwy 101, but not too loud. We would definitely stay here again if we're ever in this area again.
Aug 31, 2023 · Ted KnoppIt's not a fancy place to look at. The spaces are rather tight. However, as the saying goes: It's what's under the hood. The utilities are reliable. The cable TV (they provide a special box) was an outstanding package that included HD channels--a rarity. Wifi was fairly fast (about 10mps) but it did go out every now and then. Overall location is good. Conveniently off 101. Close to Florence and a lot of activities for the Oregon Dunes.
Dec 16, 2019 · Michael MillerThis RV Park is a real gem...Full hookups,, outstanding staff and the property is well kept. Of course, there's a view and access to the lake if you don't mind a little hike.
