Buda Place RV Resort Introduce
If you're on the lookout for “RV parks near me” in the Buda, Texas area, Buda Place RV Resort, situated at 690 Hillside Terrace, Buda, TX 78610, USA, presents itself as an option with a mix of positive and negative feedback from recent visitors. This introduction aims to provide a balanced overview of the environment, services, and features of Buda Place RV Resort based on these real customer experiences, allowing local users to make an informed decision.
The environment at Buda Place RV Resort appears to offer some appealing aspects. One reviewer highlighted a "nice walking path around the lake," suggesting a pleasant outdoor space for leisurely strolls and enjoying nature. The presence of a small pond was also noted as a positive feature. These natural elements can contribute to a relaxing and enjoyable stay, providing opportunities for outdoor recreation and appreciation of the surroundings. However, another visitor observed that "it looked like there were a bunch of long term residents and it seems like there was not enough maintenance happening. Tall grass and weeds." This suggests that while there are natural attractions, the overall upkeep of the grounds might be an area of concern for some guests.
In terms of services and features, Buda Place RV Resort offers essential hookups at each site, including electric, water, and sewer. One guest specifically mentioned that the "electric hook up worked well no issues," indicating reliability in this crucial service. While they didn't extensively use the water and sewer, their presence at every site provides convenience for RVers. The resort also boasts amenities such as a hot tub and a pool, which were described as "nice." However, it's worth noting that one reviewer experienced a "maintenance issue" with the hot tub during their stay, although they felt it was not a frequent occurrence. This suggests that while these amenities are available, occasional maintenance issues might arise.
A significant positive aspect mentioned by a long-term visitor (who stayed for three weeks) was the friendliness of both the residents and the staff. They described the people as "very friendly," which can greatly enhance the overall experience and create a welcoming community atmosphere. The same reviewer also praised the "4 individual shower and toilet combos" for being "nicely maintained and cleaned." This is a significant advantage, offering privacy and well-kept facilities for personal hygiene. The availability of individual units can be particularly appealing to travelers.
On the other hand, a point of significant disappointment for one guest was the "unusable" internet throughout their stay. They emphasized the importance of internet access for monitoring their dogs' AC while away from the RV, highlighting a potential inconvenience for those who rely on a stable internet connection for various reasons. This suggests that the reliability of the internet service at Buda Place RV Resort may be inconsistent.
Regarding rates, one reviewer mentioned that the resort offers "very reasonable rates when you stay at least a week," which they did for a total of three weeks. This indicates that Buda Place RV Resort might provide cost-effective options for longer stays, making it an attractive choice for travelers planning an extended visit to the Buda area. However, information on daily or shorter-term rates was not provided in these reviews.
Combining the positive and negative feedback, Buda Place RV Resort offers a mixed experience. The friendly community and staff, along with the clean and well-maintained individual shower/toilet facilities and the presence of a lake with a walking path, are definite advantages. The hot tub and pool are also nice additions, although occasional maintenance issues might occur. The reasonable weekly rates are another potential benefit for longer stays.
However, the reported issues with maintenance (tall grass and weeds) and unreliable internet are significant drawbacks that potential visitors should consider. For those who prioritize a well-kept environment and consistent internet access, Buda Place RV Resort might fall short of expectations. The presence of a large number of long-term residents could contribute to both a sense of community and potentially, as perceived by one reviewer, a lower priority for overall park maintenance.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Buda Place RV Resort presents a location in Buda, Texas, with accessible phone and mobile contact numbers: (737) 282-4162 and +1 737-282-4162. Interested individuals can reach out to inquire about current rates, availability, internet reliability, and the status of any maintenance concerns. It would also be beneficial to ask about any promotional offers for short-term or long-term stays that might be available.
In conclusion, Buda Place RV Resort offers a community with friendly people, clean individual shower/toilet facilities, a pleasant walking path around a lake, and amenities like a hot tub and pool. It may also provide reasonable rates for longer stays. However, potential guests should be aware of reported issues regarding general maintenance of the grounds and the reliability of the internet service. It is recommended to contact the resort directly to gather the most up-to-date information and determine if it meets your specific needs and preferences for an RV park in the Buda, Texas area.

Buda Place RV Resort Reviews
Nice experience! People (residents and staff) are very friendly- 4 individual shower and toilet combos were nicely maintained and cleaned. Nice walking path around the lake. Electric hook up worked well no issues- we didn’t use water sewer much but they were at every site. Hot tub and pool were nice as well- hot tub had a maintenance issue last week we were here but had the feeling this was not a frequent issue. Very reasonable rates when you stay at least a week- which we did - 3 weeks total! Very much enjoyed our experience here: thank you Buda Place !
Feb 15, 2025 · Victoria NovotnyThe office staff was nice and helpful. The small pond was nice. It looked like there were a bunch of long term residents and it seems like there was not enough maintenance happening. Tall grass and weeds. Internet was unusable the whole time we were there which was disappointing. I like to have the internet to make sure our dogs have ac and that it doesn’t turn off when we go out to a place we can’t take them. Overall not a terrible stay but not the best.
Apr 29, 2025 · Jon RMuch to love about this place. Very convenient to I35, yet not noisy and no bright lights. Very clean and well maintained. Hot tub is awesome! Keep in mind that this is a very large park so you may have to wait to use the hot tub or pool or shower. But park is very well done and plenty of room between sites so you don’t feel crammed in. My one complaint was that the road name they gave me for my spot was different than what the street sign said, so some driving around in the dark late at night wondering where my spot was. Spot numbers could be lit with solar lights as well for those of us coming in after dark. All in all a great stay!
Mar 19, 2025 · LisaThe park is great and the staff is very helpful and friendly-i was able to extend my stay multiple times while still getting the weekly rate-had electrical issue with the RV cord, they didn't offer solutions but had options in an airstream and actually check Becky in with me to find out if the problem was resolved.-showers are clean and water pressure is good.Only negative I could think of is no valet trash and they have a lot of spots but not a very large pool. Wasn't a problem for my stay but wonder what it would be like in the summer and the park is at near full capacity?
Feb 24, 2025 · Rick ShealyWe just spent a little over two weeks at Buda Place Resort and had a great stay. It was a really good location for us as we visited the Austin and San Marcos area and traveled out of Austin airport. The staff was very helpful and polite. During our stay we flew out of town for several days and I informed the staff and our Coach was very safe there. The pool and hot tub amenities were very nice as well as the bathrooms and showers. I would highly recommend Buda Place RV Resort and would stay there again.
