The environment at Cabin Rv Park is characterized by open, gravel pull-through sites with a notable absence of shade. One reviewer explicitly stated, "This park has absolutely no shade." This is a significant factor to consider, especially during hot weather. However, the same reviewer also pointed out a unique environmental benefit, noting that when you park in the pull-through sites, you are "looking at a hay pasture, so the view is actually rather relaxing." This suggests a peaceful and open vista, offering a connection with the surrounding rural landscape. Despite the lack of trees, the park is described as "very clean," indicating a well-maintained and tidy environment. The park also benefits from "minimal road noise," contributing to a more tranquil stay despite its location along a highway.
The services at Cabin Rv Park are basic, catering primarily to RVers who are fully self-contained. Key aspects of their service include:
- Essential Hookups: The park provides the necessities for RV living, as confirmed by a long-term guest who stated they got "power, water, and sewer." This covers the fundamental requirements for operating an RV comfortably.
- Reasonable Pricing: A significant advantage highlighted by both reviewers is the affordability of the park. One mentioned a "very reasonable price" for short stays, while another noted an "awesome" monthly rate of "$350 for the whole month," making it a budget-friendly option, especially for extended stays.
- Friendly People: The presence of "friendly people" is mentioned in one review, suggesting a welcoming and positive community atmosphere among the guests, and potentially including the park management.
It is crucial to note that Cabin Rv Park has "no facilities at all," meaning there are no public restrooms or showers available. Guests "must have your own shower and toilet in your unit." This limitation makes it suitable only for RVs that are fully equipped with these self-contained amenities.
The features of Cabin Rv Park are straightforward and cater to practical needs:
- Gravel Pull-Through Sites: The park offers gravel pull-through sites, which are generally easy to navigate for RVs of all sizes, allowing for convenient arrival and departure without the need to back in.
- Affordable Rates: The "very reasonable price" and the excellent monthly rate make this park a cost-effective option for both short and long-term stays.
- Relaxing Views: The view of the adjacent hay pasture offers a unique and peaceful backdrop, providing a sense of openness and connection with the rural environment.
- Clean Park: The emphasis on cleanliness ensures a more pleasant and comfortable stay for guests.
- Basic Hookups: The provision of power, water, and sewer meets the essential needs of self-contained RVs.
- Minimal Road Noise: Despite its highway location, the park benefits from minimal road noise, contributing to a quieter environment.
- Proximity to Local Amenities (Implied): While not directly in the park, the fact that a guest attended a "Cowboy church close by" suggests that local amenities and attractions are accessible from the park.
The primary features focus on functionality, affordability, and a clean, peaceful setting for self-contained RVers.
The most significant promotional aspect of Cabin Rv Park, based on the reviews, is its affordability. The monthly rate of $350 is particularly attractive for long-term stays, making it a budget-friendly option for those needing accommodation in the Big Cabin area for an extended period. The "very reasonable price" for shorter stays also positions it as a cost-effective choice for travelers. To inquire about current daily, weekly, or monthly rates and any potential discounts, contacting the park directly is recommended.
Big Cabin, Oklahoma, is a small town located in Craig County, in the northeastern part of the state. It is situated along Highway 69, providing convenient access to the surrounding region. Cabin Rv Park caters specifically to RVers who are fully self-contained and prioritize affordability and basic hookups over extensive amenities or shade. The clean environment and relaxing views of the hay pasture offer a pleasant, albeit open, setting. The friendly atmosphere, while mentioned briefly, can contribute to a positive overall experience. The park's location along a highway provides accessibility but also results in a lack of natural shade. The minimal road noise, however, helps to mitigate potential drawbacks of the location.

Cabin Rv Park Reviews
This park has absolutely no shade. It is gravel pull through sites, BUT that being said a very reasonable price, friendly people, and when you park in the pull through you are looking at a hay pasture, so the view is actually rather relaxing. A very clean park, but no facilities at all, you must have your own shower and toilet in your unit. Road noise is minimal. All in all, a decent place for a decent price!
Jul 05, 2023 · C FisherWe stayed here for a month and it was awesome for our needs. $350 for the whole month was a great price. We have friends in the area and so we didn’t need anything but power, water, and sewer and that is what we got here. It was perfect. I also attended an amazing Cowboy church close by.

Oct 08, 2024 · Dwight SwisherStayed here for one night while traveling to Texas. Easy on and off the Interstate. Sites were long, fairly well spaced and with full hook-ups. All this for $27 per night. And as a bonus, if your RV needs any mechanical repairs, this campground is part of a truck repair shop.
