Camelot trailer home park Introduce
For individuals in the Pageland, South Carolina area, or those passing through, who are searching for "RV Parks Near Me," Camelot Trailer Home Park, located at 167 Airport Rd, Pageland, SC 29728, presents itself as a potential option to consider. While the name includes "trailer home park," it may also accommodate RVs and thus appear in relevant listings. It is important for prospective visitors to carefully review the available information, particularly the recent customer feedback, to ascertain whether this location meets their specific needs and expectations for an RV park stay.
The environment surrounding Camelot Trailer Home Park in Pageland, South Carolina, appears to foster a sense of community among its long-term residents. One review highlights the friendly atmosphere, stating that the residents are like an "extended family." This suggests a potentially welcoming and social environment for those who value community interaction during their stay. However, the physical environment of the park itself receives mixed feedback. While one resident notes that the "condition of the units are ok but could be better," another review is more critical, describing the overall living conditions as "unsatisfactory." A significant environmental concern raised is the state of the driveway, which is described as "EXTREMELY bumppy and uneven" and "replete with deteriorated potholes that pose a potential hazard to vehicles." This suggests that navigating the park with an RV, particularly a larger one, could be challenging and potentially damaging. The presence of aggressive dogs belonging to another tenant, posing a threat to feline inhabitants, is also mentioned as a negative aspect of the environment within the park. While the park may offer a sense of community, potential RVers should be aware of the reported infrastructure issues and potential pet-related concerns.
The services offered at Camelot Trailer Home Park include an "all inclusive" rent, which, according to one review, covers trash, electrical, and water. This could be an attractive feature for RVers looking for predictable and bundled costs during their stay. However, the same reviewer mentions the need to call the office to schedule maintenance appointments, implying that proactive maintenance might be lacking and that issues are addressed on an as-needed basis. Another review is more critical of the proprietors, suggesting a lack of investment in necessary improvements despite generating significant revenue. This raises concerns about the responsiveness to tenant needs and the upkeep of the property's infrastructure. While essential utilities seem to be included in the rent, the quality and timeliness of maintenance services may be a point of concern for RV visitors. It is important to inquire specifically about the services available for RVs, such as the amperage of electrical hookups, the availability of sewer hookups, and the process for addressing any maintenance issues that might arise during a short-term stay.
The features of Camelot Trailer Home Park are somewhat mixed based on the provided reviews. A potential positive feature is the sense of community reported by a long-term resident, which could be appealing to RVers looking for a friendly and social atmosphere. The all-inclusive rent covering essential utilities is another feature that could simplify budgeting for visitors. However, significant negative features include the "EXTREMELY bumppy and uneven" driveway, which poses a hazard to vehicles and could make navigating the park difficult for RVs. The reported roach infestation in the one-bedroom triplex units, while not directly affecting RV sites, could indicate a broader pest management issue within the property. The presence of aggressive dogs belonging to a tenant, posing a threat to pets, is another negative feature that could be a significant concern for RVers traveling with animals. The fact that many tenants reportedly reside there primarily due to it being the "most economical housing option within the locality" suggests that the park's primary draw may be its affordability rather than its amenities or infrastructure quality. Potential RV visitors should weigh the potential benefits of the inclusive rent and community feel against the significant drawbacks related to the driveway condition, potential pest issues, and pet-related concerns.
Given the concerns raised in the customer reviews, particularly regarding the infrastructure and maintenance, it is unlikely that Camelot Trailer Home Park actively promotes special offers or discounts for RV stays. RV parks that are well-maintained and offer a range of amenities are more likely to have promotional rates to attract visitors. In the case of Camelot Trailer Home Park, the focus appears to be on long-term residency, and any accommodation of RVs might be secondary. Therefore, potential RV visitors should likely inquire about standard daily or weekly rates rather than expecting seasonal discounts or special packages. The most reliable way to obtain information about rates and availability for RVs at Camelot Trailer Home Park would be to contact them directly using the provided phone number, (704) 233-5462 or +1 704-233-5462. When calling, it would be prudent to ask specific questions about the condition of the RV sites, the types of hookups available, the accessibility given the driveway issues, and any policies regarding pets. Understanding the full cost, including any potential additional fees beyond the inclusive rent mentioned by a long-term resident, is also essential for making an informed decision.
In conclusion, for those searching for "RV Parks Near Me" in the Pageland, South Carolina area, Camelot Trailer Home Park presents a mixed picture based on the available customer reviews. While it may offer an inclusive rental rate covering essential utilities and a sense of community among long-term residents, there are significant concerns regarding the extremely poor condition of the driveway, potential pest issues, and problems with aggressive pets. The need to schedule maintenance appointments suggests a reactive rather than proactive approach to property upkeep. Potential RV visitors should carefully consider these drawbacks and weigh them against the potential benefits of the inclusive rent and community atmosphere. It is strongly recommended to contact Camelot Trailer Home Park directly using the provided phone number to obtain current and detailed information about RV accommodations, rates, services, and the current condition of the park's infrastructure before making a decision to stay.

Camelot trailer home park Reviews
Been here for over two years now. The people who reside in Camelot, I'm glad to call my neighbors. We are like an extended family. The condition of the units are ok but could be better. As long as you don't mind calling the office to schedule a maintenance appointment that is. The rent is all inclusive, trash, electrical, & water are included. I would have rated 5 stars if the conditions were just a little bit better. Wish they would have the driveway, it is EXTREMELY bumppy and uneven.
Mar 15, 2021 · Brandon MasonThe proprietors generate a monthly revenue of $50,000+ from these properties, yet they have yet to furnish the tenants with a satisfactory driveway to access their modest accommodations. Regrettably, the purported driveway is replete with deteriorated potholes that pose a potential hazard to vehicles. The one-bedroom triplex units are afflicted with a roach infestation, imposing an unsatisfactory living condition for the tenants. Additionally, occupants must contend with another tenant whose aggressive dogs pose a threat to feline inhabitants in the vicinity. It is highly probable that the majority of tenants have chosen to reside here primarily due to its status as the most economical housing option within the locality. I find it disheartening, and in my view, it would be beneficial for the owners to experience a year of residency on this property themselves. Such firsthand exposure may prompt them to implement necessary improvements.
