Capri Mobile Estates Introduce
Located at 16860 Slover Ave in Fontana, California, Capri Mobile Estates presents a mobile home living environment with feedback indicating a clean community and a generally quiet atmosphere. For individuals searching within the "RV parks near me" category, particularly those considering long-term residential options rather than short-term recreational vehicle stays, Capri Mobile Estates offers a community where cleanliness is noted, but concerns have been raised regarding security and management's requirements for home improvements, especially impacting elderly residents.
Environment and Location: Fontana is a city in San Bernardino County, situated in the Inland Empire region of Southern California. Its location offers a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial areas with access to various amenities and transportation routes. One resident review describes Capri Mobile Estates as a "clean place," suggesting that the park management prioritizes the upkeep of common areas and the overall appearance of the community. Another resident who lived there for four years also described it as a "nice place," further indicating a potentially pleasant environment. However, one review points out a lack of security within the park, which is a significant environmental factor related to safety and well-being.
Services and Amenities (as perceived by residents): Information regarding specific services and amenities at Capri Mobile Estates is somewhat limited, but the resident feedback provides some insights:
- Cleanliness: The positive mention of the park being a "clean place" suggests that maintenance of common areas is a priority for the management.
- Quiet Community: A resident who lived in the park for four years noted that "everyone sticks to them selves," which implies a quiet and perhaps less socially interactive community environment. This could be appealing to those who value privacy and a peaceful living space.
- Lack of Security: A significant concern raised by one resident is the absence of security within the park. This could be a crucial factor for prospective residents who prioritize safety and security in their living environment.
- Management Requirements for Home Improvements: One review expresses concern about the management requiring improvements to be made on units owned and occupied by elderly residents with limited income. The reviewer suggests that as long as the exterior is clean, the management should be satisfied and that dictating interior replacements is inappropriate and financially burdensome for some residents. This indicates a potential area of conflict between management expectations and the financial realities of some homeowners within the park.
For individuals considering Capri Mobile Estates as a long-term option found through searches for "RV parks near me," it's important to recognize that mobile home parks primarily cater to manufactured homes. The cleanliness and quiet atmosphere might be appealing, but the lack of security and the reported management requirements for potentially costly home improvements, especially for elderly residents on limited incomes, are significant factors to consider. Direct inquiry with the management is crucial to understand their policies regarding these issues and to ascertain if long-term RV living is accommodated and under what conditions.
Features and Lifestyle (as experienced by residents): The lifestyle at Capri Mobile Estates, based on the limited resident feedback, appears to be characterized by cleanliness and a degree of privacy, but with potential concerns regarding security and management interactions:
- Clean Living Environment: The emphasis on cleanliness suggests a well-maintained community in terms of common areas and possibly expectations for individual lot upkeep.
- Quiet and Private Atmosphere: The description of residents "sticking to them selves" indicates a community where there might be less social interaction among neighbors, which could be a positive for those seeking a quieter and more private lifestyle.
- Potential Financial Burden for Homeowners: The management's reported requirements for improvements to owned units, particularly impacting elderly residents with limited income, could create financial stress and negatively affect their living situation.
- Security Concerns: The noted lack of security could be a significant drawback for residents who value a secure living environment.
Promotional Information and Considerations: There is no promotional information available for Capri Mobile Estates in the provided text. Given the limited and somewhat concerning resident feedback, prospective residents should conduct thorough due diligence:
- Contact Management Directly: Use the provided phone number, (909) 823-0716 or +1 909-823-0716, to contact the management of Capri Mobile Estates. Inquire about lot availability, pricing (lot rent), specific amenities offered, park rules and regulations (especially regarding home maintenance and improvements), and the application process. If interested in long-term RV living, explicitly ask if RVs are permitted, the terms and conditions, and how they align with the park's rules for mobile homes.
- Visit the Property: A visit to Capri Mobile Estates is recommended to assess the cleanliness of the park and the overall environment. Observe any security measures in place (or lack thereof). If possible, try to gauge the community atmosphere.
- Inquire About Home Improvement Policies: Specifically ask the management about their policies regarding required improvements to owned mobile homes, particularly in situations involving elderly or low-income residents. Understand the rationale behind these requirements and any flexibility that might exist.
- Ask About Security Measures: Inquire about the security provisions in place at the park. If there is no formal security, understand what measures the management takes to ensure resident safety.
- Consider the Community Atmosphere: If a strong sense of community interaction is important to you, try to ascertain the level of social engagement among residents during your visit or through conversations with current residents (if possible).
In conclusion, Capri Mobile Estates in Fontana offers a clean and quiet living environment, which may appeal to certain individuals seeking a peaceful residential setting. However, the reported lack of security and the management's requirements for home improvements, potentially impacting vulnerable residents, are significant concerns that prospective residents should carefully consider. Thorough communication with the management and a visit to the property are essential steps in evaluating whether Capri Mobile Estates meets their needs and expectations for long-term living, especially if considering it within the context of "RV parks near me."

Capri Mobile Estates Reviews
Clean place but no security..they are requiring that improvements be made on units that are owned and occupied by elderly people who can barely get by. As long as it's clean outside they should be happy. Also they want to tell you what to replace inside..thats not right. My 88 year old.mom has limited income and can't afford to make large home improvements.

Nov 13, 2024 · Deanna “Dinah” ArmendarizPark is very quiet and peaceful, however, the security that the park hired stinks!! We, (tenants) are being forced to pay for services that just are not being rendered. The Guard, loosely named, because I haven't seen him "guard" anything, drives through the park, not even through half the park and then leaves. The only area he does check is the office. Some of the tenants have been forced to install their own security cameras in order to feel safer. If the park is unaware of how if the situation, you are now.
