Casa De Lodi Mobile Estates Introduce
Are you looking for "RV parks near me" that offer a vibrant and engaging lifestyle, particularly tailored for retirees? Consider Casa De Lodi Mobile Estates, located at 812 E Turner Rd in Lodi, California. While listed under the broad category of "RV parks near me," Casa De Lodi Mobile Estates distinguishes itself as a well-established community of 240 manufactured homes, primarily catering to those seeking an active adult living environment.
Initial impressions from some residents paint Casa De Lodi Mobile Estates as a "hidden paradise for the retired folks." This perspective highlights the community's appeal as a tranquil and amenity-rich setting for those in their retirement years. A significant draw is the presence of a clubhouse and a pool, providing central hubs for recreation and social interaction. These facilities often serve as the backdrop for the "many activities available to residents," suggesting a lively and engaging social calendar designed to foster community spirit and provide opportunities for residents to connect and pursue shared interests.
Furthermore, the manufactured homes within Casa De Lodi Mobile Estates are described by some as being "a cut above the rest," implying a higher standard of construction and maintenance within the community. This suggests that prospective residents can expect well-kept properties and a generally attractive living environment. The sheer size of the community, with 240 homes, indicates a substantial and established neighborhood with a potentially diverse range of residents and experiences.
However, it is crucial to consider all available feedback to gain a comprehensive understanding of Casa De Lodi Mobile Estates. One detailed review presents a contrasting perspective, highlighting potential social dynamics that prospective buyers should be aware of. This review suggests that the community may have a strong social hierarchy, with certain "cliques" potentially leading to feelings of being an "outcast" for those not within these groups. This is a significant point to consider for individuals who prioritize an inclusive and welcoming social environment for all residents.
The same review raises concerns regarding the community's activities club. While the presence of activities is generally seen as a positive attribute, this reviewer suggests that the club's decision-making processes may be top-down, with limited input from general members. The claim that members may have "no decision on how the club money is spent" and that elections for board members are not truly democratic, with appointments made by the existing board, paints a picture of a potentially less transparent and less participatory community governance structure within the activities club.
Furthermore, the reviewer alleges that asking questions of the activities club may lead to being labeled a "troublemaker," potentially discouraging open communication and feedback. The accusation of management showing "favoritism" towards certain groups within the community is a serious concern that could impact the overall sense of fairness and equity among residents. This personal account strongly advises potential buyers to be aware of these alleged social and organizational dynamics before making a purchase.
Adding to these concerns, the reviewer mentions a significant and troubling development: an allegation that management now allows "unauthorized people to go into the residents personal files." This is a serious breach of privacy and security if substantiated, raising significant concerns about identity theft and the overall safety and respect for residents' personal information within the community. This recent information should be carefully considered by anyone contemplating residency at Casa De Lodi Mobile Estates.
In conclusion, Casa De Lodi Mobile Estates, while appearing as a potentially attractive retirement community with amenities like a clubhouse and pool and a variety of activities, also presents potential social and managerial dynamics that warrant careful consideration. The contrasting reviews highlight the importance of thorough due diligence for prospective buyers. While some residents may find it to be a "hidden paradise," others have experienced social exclusion and raised concerns about the activities club's governance and management practices, including a serious allegation regarding access to personal files. For those seeking "RV parks near me" for long-term retirement living in a manufactured home setting, Casa De Lodi Mobile Estates offers a community with established infrastructure and activities, but potential residents should weigh the positive descriptions against the concerns raised in the more critical review and seek further information to make an informed decision. Contacting the management at (209) 369-7855 or +1 209-369-7855 for further inquiries and perhaps speaking with a diverse group of current residents could provide a more balanced perspective before making a commitment.

Casa De Lodi Mobile Estates Reviews
A hidden paradise for the retired folks! There's a clubhouse and pool. Many activities are available to residents. These manufactured homes are a cut above the rest. There are 240 homes.
Oct 25, 2020 · Joe FurtadoI'm looking to buy a home in a mobile home park and this one seems like a very nice place. Everyone is friendly, it's clean, homes are well kept, and there seems to be a lot of community activities. Boy was I wrong! If you are not in a certain click here you are an outcast. If you join the activities Club be prepared to have all your decision made for you and have no decision on how the club money is spent. Don't count on having a real election the board members are appointed by the existing board so they can control the board. Don't ask a question of the activities Club because you will be labeled an instigator and troublemaker. The management shows favoritism to this click. I just wish somebody would have written an honest review such as this before I wasted my money buying here. Too many other nice places that don't remind me of a high school mentality. New information, evidently the management now allows unauthorized people to go into the residents personal files! That doesn't seem like a place I want to be, ever hear of identity theft?
Feb 12, 2025 · Dane NielsenGranny lives here and I live not far from her down the road on and I always come and visit her and its the best experience 10/10 times. Now some residents here are great people but there are some "snakes" you gotta watch out for if your planning on moving in that is. Just don't let any member of the community take advantage of you, question everything, but Granny is the best I love you :)
