Cascade Village Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the White City, Oregon area and are considering various long-term living options, Cascade Village, located at 2622 Falcon St SPC 82, White City, OR 97503, USA, is a mobile home park that may appear in your search results. While the platform category might include it, Cascade Village primarily functions as a mobile home park with a specific policy of "owner residents only." They can be contacted at (541) 826-5031 or +1 541-826-5031 for inquiries.
The available customer reviews present starkly contrasting views regarding the living environment at Cascade Village. One reviewer offers a perspective that emphasizes the park's commitment to maintaining a safe and well-regulated community. This reviewer states that the park is "owner residents only," implying that all occupants are property owners within the community. They suggest that any instances of poorly maintained properties are the responsibility of the individual owners who "let their place go."
Furthermore, this reviewer describes Cascade Village as a "Felony free park," indicating a policy aimed at preventing individuals with felony convictions from residing there. They acknowledge that "druggies" may occasionally enter the park but assert that this is usually without the knowledge of the manager, whom they have personally witnessed actively chasing such individuals out. They further explain that even legal roommates of owners are subject to criminal background checks, suggesting a proactive approach to maintaining a safe environment. This reviewer implies that if felons reside in the park, it is due to an owner allowing them into their home.
In stark contrast, another review paints a very negative picture of Cascade Village and the surrounding area of White City. This reviewer describes the location as a former military base and uses highly critical terms such as "felony flats," suggesting a high crime rate. They also allege the presence of "black mold" and "meth labs" within the community, along with accusations of "cover up work" and "FROUD" (likely a misspelling of fraud). The reviewer further claims "24/7 drug deals" and advises potential buyers to "be ware of anything in white city," indicating a strong negative perception of both the park and the broader locale.
A third, very brief review echoes this negative sentiment, stating, "been here too long to much B.S. White City is not a great place to live." This concise comment reinforces the negative portrayal of the area and implicitly of the living conditions within it.
Given these contradictory and serious allegations, it is extremely challenging to provide an objective introduction to the environment, services, and features of Cascade Village based solely on these reviews. The information presented offers no insight into typical aspects of a mobile home park such as landscaping, community amenities, management services, or general upkeep. Instead, the focus is on safety, crime, and living conditions, with diametrically opposed viewpoints.
The claim of being an "owner residents only" park is a significant feature that distinguishes Cascade Village from many other mobile home communities. This policy likely aims to foster a greater sense of ownership and responsibility among residents, potentially contributing to better maintenance of individual properties and a more stable community. The reported efforts to maintain a "felony free park" through background checks on owners and their legal roommates also suggest a focus on safety and security, at least according to one reviewer.
However, the serious allegations of drug activity, black mold, and a generally negative environment from other reviewers cannot be ignored. These claims raise significant concerns about the actual living conditions and safety within Cascade Village. The reference to its past as a military base might offer some historical context but does not directly address the current state of the community.
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me," Cascade Village, with its "owner residents only" policy, might not be suitable for typical RV travelers seeking temporary or short-term stays. It appears to cater to individuals who own manufactured homes and reside in them permanently. The strong emphasis on resident ownership and the attempts to maintain a felony-free environment, as described by one reviewer, could be seen as potential benefits for those seeking a long-term, stable community, provided these claims are accurate and reflect the overall reality of the park.
However, the serious counter-allegations of widespread drug activity and poor living conditions necessitate extreme caution. Prospective residents must conduct thorough and independent investigations to ascertain the true nature of Cascade Village. This should include visiting the park, speaking with multiple current residents (if possible), and potentially checking with local law enforcement or housing authorities for any records or information pertaining to the allegations raised in the reviews.
Given the severity of the negative claims, it would be irresponsible to offer any positive or promotional information for Cascade Village without a strong caveat emphasizing the need for extensive due diligence. The contrasting reviews indicate a potentially complex and possibly problematic living environment that requires careful scrutiny from any potential resident.
In conclusion, Cascade Village in White City, Oregon, is described by one reviewer as an "owner residents only" and "felony free" park where the manager actively works to maintain safety. However, other reviewers present alarming allegations of widespread drug activity, black mold, and a generally negative environment. Individuals searching for "RV parks near me" who might encounter Cascade Village as a long-term housing option should be aware of these conflicting reports and conduct thorough, independent research to determine the current living conditions and safety of the community before considering residency. The stark contrast in the provided feedback underscores the critical need for prospective residents to verify these claims through multiple reliable sources.

Cascade Village Reviews
Owner residents only. If someone has a bad place to live it is because the let their place go. It is a Felony free park and the druggies that get in are usually there without knowledge of the manager. I have personally watched him chase several people out. If there are felons there then they are there because a dumb owner let them in there house. Even if you own all legal room mates go through a criminal check.
