Dave sires is the owner he was doing a great job then he ran for city council and now state senate and his wife has been trying to fight us with every little inconvenience we ask for help with an addutude behind it we were given a shead by Dave to store our lawn mower when I would have gotten one but the shead is broken to where we can't get into it to store anything in it, I've explained that to Lisa and asked for some assistance with her replying no but yet she expects us to still get a lawn mower and leave it out to get ruined and or stolen,so I have to rely on my father who is taking care of my mother who is terminal when he has time and is home to bring his mower over or let us pick it up but lisa expects us to force my father to abandon my terminal mother to bring it in a snap of a finger or she sends out a letter bitching instead of having there grounds keeper that we've seen drive his little atv through our yard and mow others in the parks yard, she's breached contract by raising rent and when I tried getting legal counsel to get information she tried to strong arm and fear monger us with her lawyer and to go back on agreement when we were able to pay rent due to me being seriously sick and have medical condition that caused me in hospital so I had to pay at the end of the month as well as trying to force my fiancee to get rid HER ESA claiming that she had to have a police animal in order to have an Esa so we were forced to pay $300 to expedite and her therapist to include the laws and Esa protection in our certification which also hindered us to pay rent sooner, Dave is great and we miss him running the park - Cody Richter

Cedar Village Community Home Introduce

Welcome to Cedar Village Community Home, a residential mobile home park located at 2508 Union Rd, Cedar Falls, IA 50613, USA. While the platform category "RV Parks Near Me" might suggest short-term recreational vehicle parking, it is important for prospective residents to understand that Cedar Village Community Home primarily functions as a long-term living solution for manufactured homes. This distinction is crucial for individuals and families seeking a stable, permanent, or extended housing arrangement in Cedar Falls, Iowa, rather than a temporary stop for recreational vehicles. The community is designed to provide a settled home base for its residents.

The environment at Cedar Village Community Home presents a mixed but evolving picture based on resident feedback. One long-term resident (15 years) expresses satisfaction, stating that "Everything is well taken care of." This suggests that the fundamental upkeep of the park, including common areas and infrastructure, is generally maintained to a satisfactory standard. A well-maintained environment contributes significantly to the overall quality of life and the aesthetic appeal of a residential community. The address, 2508 Union Rd, positions the park within Cedar Falls, Iowa, a city known for its vibrant community and educational institutions. This location likely offers convenient access to local amenities, services, and employment opportunities. However, another review highlights significant challenges with management responsiveness and perceived breaches of agreement, indicating potential inconsistencies in the upkeep of individual resident concerns. Despite these noted issues, the overall impression from the positive review suggests that the general appearance and care of the park's common areas are commendable, contributing to a pleasant living atmosphere for many residents.

Regarding services and management, the reviews offer contrasting perspectives. One resident praises the owner, Dave Sires, stating he "was doing a great job," and that "if I have a problem the owner promptly helps me." This indicates a history of responsive and helpful management. However, the same review notes that Dave Sires's increased political involvement has led to his wife, Lisa, taking on more management responsibilities, resulting in what one resident describes as "unprofessional conduct" and difficulty in getting assistance with "every little inconvenience." Specific issues cited include challenges with shed access, expectations regarding lawn care, and perceived difficulties with rent payment arrangements due to medical emergencies, as well as complications regarding an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) certification. This highlights potential inconsistencies in service delivery and management approach, particularly following changes in direct oversight. However, the long-term resident's affirmation that "if I have a problem the owner promptly helps me" suggests that overall, there is an effort to address resident concerns, even if the approach has varied. The provided phone numbers, (319) 266-6093 and +1 319-266-6093, offer direct contact points for inquiries and service requests.

Key features of Cedar Village Community Home include its focus on providing a stable, long-term living environment for manufactured homes. The park has a history of long-term residents, with one reviewer stating they have lived there for 15 years and are "very happy with my neighbors." This suggests a strong sense of community and stability among residents. Another significant feature is the updated pet policy: "Dogs are now allowed for a monthly fee." This is a crucial amenity for many prospective residents who own pets, broadening the park's appeal. The long-term resident also states that "Everything is well taken care of," which underscores a commitment to maintaining the property. However, the detailed negative review also brings to light features such as the provision of sheds (even if broken), the presence of groundskeepers for some park maintenance, and the management's firm stance on issues like rent payment and ESA documentation, which could be seen as a feature of their policy enforcement. The contrast in reviews suggests that while the park aims for a high standard, individual experiences with management can vary.

For users searching within the "RV Parks Near Me" category, it is vital to emphasize that Cedar Village Community Home is predominantly a residential park for manufactured homes. While some mobile home parks may offer limited RV spaces, Cedar Village's core business is to provide permanent or long-term housing for manufactured homes. This makes it an ideal choice for individuals or families looking to purchase or place a manufactured home and establish a stable home base in Cedar Falls. The community is designed for a settled lifestyle, offering amenities and a social structure geared towards long-term residents, rather than transient campers. The allowance of dogs is a significant draw for pet owners considering a long-term move. Prospective residents should understand that the focus here is on a community where people reside permanently, rather than a temporary recreational site. This distinction is crucial for matching expectations with the services provided by the park.

Promotional information for Cedar Village Community Home can be drawn from the positive aspects highlighted by residents, alongside understanding the current challenges. The park's established nature, evident from long-term residents and the sentiment that "Everything is well taken care of," is a strong promotional point. The "very happy with my neighbors" comment speaks to the community aspect, suggesting a friendly and supportive environment. The recent policy change to allow "Dogs for a monthly fee" is a key promotional feature, appealing to a large segment of the population. While there are noted challenges with management style and communication, the fact that the park has sustained a long-term resident base and has an owner who "promptly helps me" (at least in some instances) indicates a fundamental commitment to the residents. Potential residents should consider these factors, perhaps by visiting the community and speaking with current residents if possible, to gain a comprehensive understanding. The accessible phone numbers, (319) 266-6093 and +1 319-266-6093, provide a direct channel for obtaining more detailed information and discussing specific needs or concerns before making a decision.
