With contact numbers (864) 761-7281 and +1 864-761-7281, this RV park has garnered high praise from its visitors, particularly for its ease of access, big rig friendliness, scenic environment, and the welcoming demeanor of its owner.
One of the standout features of Cherokee RV Park, as highlighted by a very satisfied customer, is its exceptional suitability for large recreational vehicles. For those traveling in substantial rigs, such as a 62-foot combination with a trailer, finding a park that can comfortably accommodate them is crucial. Cherokee RV Park proudly boasts that it is "big rig friendly," alleviating the stress and challenges often associated with maneuvering and parking large RVs. This is a significant advantage for a considerable segment of the RV travel community.
The park further simplifies the setup process with its "easy instructions" and convenient "pull through spots." Pull-through sites are highly valued by RVers, especially those with larger units, as they eliminate the need for backing up, making arrival and departure much smoother and quicker. This ease of access and setup contributes significantly to a positive initial impression and overall stress-free experience at Cherokee RV Park.
In addition to the ease of parking, Cherokee RV Park provides essential and reliable utility connections. The availability of "full power/water/sewer connections" at each site ensures that RVers have all the necessary hookups for a comfortable and convenient stay. These full hookups allow guests to utilize all the amenities within their RV without any limitations, whether it's for a brief overnight stop or a more extended visit.
The environment surrounding Cherokee RV Park is also a notable aspect. The pull-through spots are thoughtfully situated to "overlook a field with friendly horses." This scenic view adds a unique charm to the park, offering guests the opportunity to observe these gentle animals and enjoy a more pastoral setting than typical RV parks. The horses are described as "friendly" and even enjoy a "good nose pat," suggesting a pleasant and interactive element to the environment, although guests should always exercise caution and respect when interacting with animals.
To further enhance the enjoyment of the outdoor setting, Cherokee RV Park provides "benches to sit and watch them play, or just relax by the bonfire." These thoughtful additions encourage guests to spend time outdoors, whether it's enjoying the peaceful view of the horses in the field or gathering around a communal bonfire for relaxation and socializing. The bonfire area likely serves as another opportunity for guests to connect and share their travel experiences.
Another reviewer enthusiastically recommends Cherokee RV Park as a "Great place to glamp," indicating that it caters to those seeking a more comfortable and upscale camping experience. Whether guests are staying for just "one night or a week," the park offers an environment that supports a pleasant and potentially luxurious outdoor stay. The mention of "plenty of room for a 40 feet RV plus 20 feet car hauler trailer" further emphasizes the park's capacity to accommodate very large setups, making it an exceptionally accommodating choice for those traveling with additional vehicles or trailers.
The owner of Cherokee RV Park is consistently praised, described as "extremely nice and willing to do whatever he can to help you." This personal touch and dedication to guest satisfaction can significantly elevate the overall experience. Knowing that the owner is approachable and ready to assist with any needs or issues provides a sense of security and comfort for travelers, especially those who may be new to RVing or unfamiliar with the area.

Cherokee RV Park Reviews
More than happy to rate this place 5 stars. It was a wonderful stop on a long trip. We had been boondocking in a large rig (62' with trailer) and were happy to see this place is big rig friendly. From the easy instructions, pull through spots, and full power/water/sewer connections, it was super simple and fast to get set up. I honestly wish we could stay longer. Your pull through spots overlook a field with friendly horses that love a good nose pat. There are benches to sit and watch them play, or just relax by the bonfire.

Nov 21, 2024 · John MckayWe really enjoyed our stay at the Cherokee RV Park. Check-in was so easy. We just drove into our site, and a clipboard was on the pedestal with our receipt and area info. Our pull through site included full hook-ups, a gas grill, and a bench overlooking a hose pasture with 5 very friendly horses. Town is not far away, and the Food Lion has everything you need. Only 2 miles off the interstate, this place is both convenient and quiet. Thanks Cherokee rv park, for a really nice stay. It's been almost exactly a year since this review, and we have returned for a stay this November 2024. This is still a great place to stay. I highly recommend Cherokee RV.
