Chisholm Creek Manufactured Home Community Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Park City, Kansas area, and considering a more permanent living arrangement beyond typical RV stays, manufactured home communities like Chisholm Creek Manufactured Home Community, located at 501 E 63rd St N, Park City, KS 67219, USA, offer an alternative. While distinct from traditional RV parks catering to short-term travelers, manufactured home communities provide long-term residency with individual lots for manufactured homes. Chisholm Creek Manufactured Home Community can be contacted at (316) 744-3703 or via mobile phone at +1 316-744-3703 for inquiries about residency, home sales (if applicable), and community information.
Based on the limited customer reviews available online, it appears that Chisholm Creek Manufactured Home Community may offer opportunities for purchasing homes within the community, as indicated by one reviewer's positive experience with the home buying process. This reviewer specifically commended the service received from an individual named Marla, noting her support throughout an extended eight-month journey and highlighting her excellent communication skills. This suggests that for individuals looking to buy a manufactured home and reside in a community setting, Chisholm Creek might be an option to explore, particularly if Marla is still associated with sales or community relations.
However, another more detailed review presents a contrasting perspective, focusing on the experiences of a current resident and raising concerns about the community's management and environment. This reviewer expresses frustration with what they perceive as overly strict and frequent enforcement of community rules, citing an instance where a notice was placed on their door for leaving car seats on their porch for a short period. They also mention receiving weekly notices for various reasons over a two-year residency, often accompanied by what they consider "lame excuses."
The same reviewer describes an uncomfortable encounter with another resident who confronted them about their lawn mowing frequency, even during periods of heavy rain when grass growth can be rapid. This suggests potential issues with neighborly relations or inconsistent enforcement of landscaping rules. The reviewer also notes that they and several other neighbors are "tired of it," implying a broader dissatisfaction within the community regarding management practices.
A significant point of concern raised in this negative review is the frequent turnover in management, leading to confusion about who to contact for issues. This lack of consistent leadership can often contribute to inconsistent rule enforcement and a lack of clear communication within a community.
The reviewer also provides a specific example related to lawn mowing, stating that while their husband mows regularly, management has allegedly made comments about their property being the "front" and the "first one anyone sees," leading to what the reviewer describes as uneven or incomplete mowing of their lawn by community maintenance. This suggests potential bias or targeted enforcement related to landscaping standards at certain properties within the community.
The overall tone of the negative review indicates a significant level of dissatisfaction with the management's approach to rule enforcement, communication, and potentially neighborly relations within Chisholm Creek Manufactured Home Community. The reviewer explicitly states that if a zero rating were possible, they would choose it, emphasizing the extent of their negative experience.
Given these contrasting reviews, it is crucial for prospective residents to carefully weigh the positive feedback regarding the home buying process against the negative experiences reported by a current resident concerning community management and rule enforcement. The environment of a manufactured home community is significantly influenced by its management practices and the interactions among residents. While one individual had a positive experience with purchasing a home, the other's account suggests potential challenges related to community rules, neighborly interactions, and management consistency.
Information regarding specific services and features of Chisholm Creek Manufactured Home Community is limited to what can be inferred from the reviews. Typically, manufactured home communities provide:
- Individual lots for manufactured homes, which residents may own or rent.
- Basic infrastructure such as paved streets and utility connections (water, sewer, electricity, and potentially gas).
- Common areas, which might include green spaces, playgrounds, or community centers.
- Maintenance services for common areas and potentially individual lots (as suggested by the lawn mowing issue).
- Management offices and staff responsible for community administration and rule enforcement.
The reviews do not provide details on amenities such as recreational facilities, pet policies (beyond the mention of car seats on a porch), or specific community events. Prospective residents should inquire about these aspects directly with the management.
No promotional information is available in the provided text. Individuals interested in purchasing a home or renting a lot within Chisholm Creek Manufactured Home Community should contact the management directly using the provided phone numbers to inquire about current availability, pricing, and any special offers that may be in place.
In conclusion, Chisholm Creek Manufactured Home Community in Park City, KS, offers a long-term living option for those interested in purchasing or potentially renting manufactured homes. While one review highlights a positive experience with the home buying process and communication with a specific individual, another detailed account raises significant concerns about community management, rule enforcement, neighborly relations, and consistency. Prospective residents should carefully consider both perspectives and conduct thorough due diligence, including visiting the community, speaking with current residents (if possible), and directly engaging with the management to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the living environment and community regulations before making any decisions.

Chisholm Creek Manufactured Home Community Reviews
We just bought a home today! It's been a long journey, and our service was extended over the period of nearly 8 months. Marla was amazing through the whole experience! She stayed with us every step of the way, and communication was on point. Thanks for everything!
Feb 28, 2024 · Alan DeCaraLiterally can't have my husband leave carseats on our porch for 3 hours because he works early in the morning without getting a notice on our door. We have gotten notices pretty much weekly and getting lame excuses since we moved in 2 years ago. Had a lady stop me right in front of the mailboxes and corner me in to tell me I need to mow my yard more frequently during a time when there was a lot of heavy rain. Us and several other neighbors are tired of it. Management has changed so much I don't even know who to talk to. If I could rate it a zero I would because this is ridiculous. Also my husband has talked to management and the office has flat out said we are the front and the first one anyone sees they mow our lawn uneven on one side or one strip I truly don't understand what's the need for all that. My husband mows all the time I guess it's not fast enough for them.
Jul 10, 2024 · Amanda SmithIf I could Give this place ZERO STARS I would. We have lived here for a year now and we had problems from the start. Given us a move in date and then we couldn’t move in until two weeks after that?? Then we Planned out and signed paper work for my baby shower to be at the main clubhouse where they host parties. THE DAY OF THE PARTY we could not get in and no management would answer any phone calls. We had to move my baby shower to a different location an hour before it started!! And now we are moving out and had set up a walk through with the office lady, not sure if her name was Erin or Brooklyn told us our walk through would be at 2:30 on the 28th TODAY. We went up there at 2:30 and they pushed it to 3 cause they didn’t remember us setting that up with them when my fiancé said he talked to the same exact person and she had no memory of that conversation. So we go back up at 3:15 cause they still hadn’t shown up and then they told us they would have to push it to 4. Also never had working smoke detectors. They would beep constantly. They would come and look at them and “fix them” and they would still beep constantly. So they told us to just take them down. I had a newborn in that house for 6 months with NO WORKING FIRE ALARM. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. Regional manager was there as well and didn’t say anything. So we dropped off our keys and left and no walk through was done because THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. ALSO the “help line” the phone number they have posted everywhere they swear that they answer but we are directed to an Indian person who doesn’t even live near here EVERYTIME. Just know if you plan to live here the management is a joke so just be prepared.
Jul 28, 2023 · Mikayla BaileyDaylon made everything so easy about moving in and meeting our needs. We are happy that we have moved here and love the community! The process is easy and they have great incentives!
Jan 19, 2024 · Alyssa FargoI have lived here for 2 years and love it. The staff is friendly and they work hard to fix any issues & maintain the property. If they are not in the office they are usually out working to improve the neighborhood. The neighbors are quite and respectful. Its a great place to raise your family!
