Navajo Lake Estates Manufactured Home Community Introduce
If you are searching for "mobile home parks near me" in the Park City, Kansas area, Navajo Lake Estates Manufactured Home Community, located at 501 E 63rd St N, Park City, KS 67219, is one option that may appear in your search results. They can be contacted at (316) 744-3703 or +1 316-744-3703 for inquiries. However, it is crucial to carefully consider the overwhelmingly negative feedback from recent residents before making any decisions about living in this community.
The online reviews paint a concerning picture of Navajo Lake Estates, with multiple serious allegations regarding the management, maintenance, and treatment of residents. One former resident, who lived in the community for three years and owned their trailer, recounted a distressing experience involving significant plumbing issues. They described how, when pipes froze, sewage from neighboring units backed up into their bathtub, causing flooding and property damage within their trailer. According to this reviewer, the trailer park management at the time "refused to pay for damages siting that I was the owner it’s my problem." This response raises serious questions about the park's responsibility for maintaining its infrastructure and addressing issues that directly impact residents' living conditions.
The same reviewer further detailed a series of negative experiences, even after a change in management where they described the new manager as "lovely." Despite this initial positive change, the reviewer alleges that they were unjustly evicted while recovering from surgery. They claimed that the park "wouldn’t let me get the rest of my stuff even though the place that owned my trailer said I could." This indicates a potential disregard for the resident's personal circumstances and property rights. The reviewer also accused the management of "lied about how eviction worked not thinking I’d actually take them to court," suggesting a lack of transparency and potentially unethical practices regarding legal procedures.
Adding to the severity of the allegations, the former resident stated that the management was aware of their post-surgery limitations ("knew I needed time to rest and couldn’t lift anything") and yet allegedly acted in a way that exacerbated their health issues ("made me go against causing the internal bleeding and drain tube"). This level of alleged disregard for a resident's well-being is deeply troubling. The reviewer also mentioned a prior issue involving a staff member physically assaulting their child, a claim that, while the staff member is reportedly no longer employed there, highlights a significant concern for the safety and well-being of residents and their families within the community.
The reviewer concluded with a strong condemnation of Navajo Lake Estates, stating, "I will never live in that community again I won’t recommend it to anyone as there office staff had caused me to have a second procedure to put in a drain tube due to being uncompassionate over the fact that I just had surgery I had a 5 pound weight limit and was on bed rest which they made me go against causing the internal bleeding and drain tube I will be taking your company to court after I’m done healing." This powerful and detailed account raises serious red flags for anyone considering moving into this manufactured home community.
Another review echoes the sentiment of poor management, describing Navajo Lake Estates as a "poorly managed, straight up wretched of a place to live. 0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND." This stark and unequivocal condemnation from a separate resident further reinforces the concerns raised in the first review. This second reviewer also highlighted the instability of the management, stating that the community "Changes management companies every 3-4 months, never letting you enable autopay because of it." Frequent changes in management can lead to inconsistencies in policies, communication breakdowns, and a lack of stability for residents. The inability to set up autopay due to this instability adds an unnecessary layer of inconvenience for residents trying to manage their finances.
The second reviewer ended with a clear warning regarding affordability, stating, "If you’re looking to move cheap, DONT LOOK HERE!" This contradicts the common perception that manufactured home communities often offer more affordable housing options. This statement suggests that the cost of living at Navajo Lake Estates may not align with the level of service and living conditions reported in the reviews.
Based on these two highly negative and detailed reviews, it is extremely difficult to ascertain any positive aspects of the environment, services, or features of Navajo Lake Estates Manufactured Home Community. The focus of the feedback is overwhelmingly on serious issues related to management practices, maintenance failures, and a lack of compassion or support for residents facing difficult circumstances. There is no mention of any amenities, community features, or positive aspects of the environment within the park in these reviews.
Given the severity of the allegations, it would be irresponsible to speculate on any potential promotional information or positive attributes without any supporting evidence from the provided reviews. The consistent theme of mismanagement and negative resident experiences overshadows any potential benefits that the community might offer.
In conclusion, while Navajo Lake Estates Manufactured Home Community in Park City, Kansas, may appear as an option when searching for "mobile home parks near me," the available online reviews present a deeply concerning picture. Potential residents should be aware of serious allegations regarding poor management, inadequate maintenance, questionable eviction practices, and a lack of compassion for residents facing health challenges. The instability of the management and potentially higher-than-expected costs are also significant factors to consider. Due to the gravity of the issues raised in the reviews, it is strongly recommended that anyone considering living at Navajo Lake Estates proceed with extreme caution and seek further information and perspectives before making any commitments. Contacting the park directly at (316) 744-3703 or +1 316-744-3703 may provide an opportunity to hear the management's perspective, but the consistency and severity of the negative feedback warrant significant skepticism.

Never recommend if I could give a zero star I would. I lived there for 3 years owned my trailer. When the pipes froze and water wasn’t leaving anytime the neighbors around me flushed there toilet a everything came up into my bathtub and flooded my trailer the trailer park refused to pay for damages siting that I was the owner it’s my problem. After that they changed management the lady there was lovely. They did however evict me while I was having surgery wouldn’t let me get the rest of my stuff even though the place that owned my trailer said I could. Lied about how eviction worked not thinking I’d actually take them to court. They knew I needed time to rest and couldn’t lift anything. They also knew my ex and I were not getting along they were supposed to call me if he didn’t pay I didn’t know til I received a 3 day eviction notice on my door by then it had gotten late fees that I couldn’t pay for or afford. I lost everything I owned accept a few things. The staff has never been understanding in all 3 years that I lived there of my son who has moderate to severe autism and one staff member has physically assaulted my child and was lucky I didn’t call the cops which I’m glad she is no longer employed there I will never live in that community again I won’t recommend it to anyone as there office staff had caused me to have a second procedure to put in a drain tube due to being uncompassionate over the fact that I just had surgery I had a 5 pound weight limit and was on bed rest which they made me go against causing the internal bleeding and drain tube I will be taking your company to court after I’m done healing

Sep 26, 2024 · Sarah SetchellDO NOT MOVE HERE!!! If you have children this is NOT the place for you. Today 5/14/24 I got a note on my door which accompanied pictures of my MINOR child. When confronting the very rude staff including the manager on why this was necessary to have my daughter in a photo at all.I was met with attitude and excuses such as “ the child shouldn’t be outside with the dog” talking about my dog that in a FENCED in yard at a home my child lives at .While not only was I met with attitude but also no apology or resolution such as deleting the photo of THE MINOR.
May 14, 2024 · Audra Kilmer##Update##A couple years later and all I can say is the experience is going downhill. I leave my garbage can out for 1 day past pickup, and I'm met with a "Rules violation notice." My next door neighbor however has left theirs out in the street (which has migrated to in front of my house because they have 4-5 or more vehicles parked blocking their frontage) since the very first time that took garbage out months ago.The same goes for maintaining the lawn, I go out of town for 2 weeks. Obviously, the grass gets a little long and come home to yet more "rules violation notices" taped to the door. I'm an owner, not a renter. My door looks like hell from all the tape residue. And then there are the neighbors who mow once all summer and only after the grass starts resembling an unkempt pasture. And finally, the lot rent goes up every year. Sadly, the lot rent is now equivalent to the payment on a $100k mortgage, yet we see nothing added in the way of service or value for the increased cost every year.##End Update##Cleaner than many in town, certainly more expensive than many and typical MH community.Sadly, the rules of the community only apply to those who actually care. 15mph speed limit translates into "as fast as you can get your mufflerless Honda going", kids could care less about property, and they have worn a mud path through my yard taking their shortcut. Fences are not allowed, those that have them are "grandfathered" so don't think you can put one up to keep the traffic down, keep your yard nice or keep the dozens of roaming cats from doing their "business" in your lawn.Supposed to be a weight/breed limit on dogs, and again, rules that only those who care take seriously. DO NOT take your passive dog for a walk on a leash unless you carry self defense to equalize against the 100#, untrained dogs being walked by 50# kids who have no control over them. The ladies in the office running the 2 parks do try their very best to make these nice parks. The corporation that owns the parks is working to move in new homes all the time and you can see that they do care. Sadly, many of the residents do not care but in a park where you rent your space, these things will never change, it's the nature of the beast.
Feb 07, 2024 · Catalinaflyer 350Update** 6-2019.Under new management, our community has become even better. Staff is amazing, and sincerely love what they do and it shows. We had an issue with our concrete patio and the new General Manager had it replaced. The overall Park is looking amazing, the pool is being ran correctly and they have a maintenance staff who is on top of everything! As you get with any community, some people do not like to follow the rules, and the management team catches "flak" from them, but they hold strong and enforce the rules regardless. If you are looking for a place to live, and will follow the rules set forth from your lease agreement, this is the place to live! Stephanie the GM. Is compassionate, yet enforces policy. She takes time to always listen to the community concerns, and acts on them accordingly.**Navajo lake estates is the community we decided to move our home into. We struggled with the purchasing of a home not because of the community, but because of manufacturers. It took 3 months to move our home in.During this time, the manager at Navajo Tiffany was the ONLY person who shot us straight. She is consistent and compassionate. She kept us informed on processes that we were not aware of.After delays with manufacturing and then the weather. Tiffany had been beside us the whole time telling us, " when the weather is clear, we will bring your home in"She sis exactly that. She told us the home was coming in the next day and it did. She had the contractors lined up and they busted butt to move us in. This saved us $1400.00 as we were at a point of having to pay another months rent on our old house. We have been at Navajo for over 3 months now. We LOVE LOVE LOVE it.Again Tiffany and all her staff are helpful, compassionate and consistent. The park is well maintained, the pool is amazing, staff are professional and courteous any questions we have had or concerns are answered.I would highly recommend Navajo as your community whether buying your own home, needing to rent a home in an amazing area.
