Cimarron Park Introduce
For local users searching for "mobile home parks near me" in the Rapid City, South Dakota area, Cimarron Park, located at 4835 Sturgis Rd #102, presents a residential option to be considered. However, it is crucial for prospective residents to be aware of recent and strongly negative feedback from current and former residents regarding the park's management, maintenance, and financial practices, as this information could significantly influence their decision.
Past Positive Perceptions: A Decline in Management Quality: One former resident's review provides a historical perspective, indicating that there was a time when Cimarron Park was considered "pretty good," particularly under the management of someone named Anita. However, the review goes on to state that the park has since switched management companies multiple times, with each subsequent company being perceived as "worse than the last." This suggests a potential trend of declining quality in the park's administration over time, which is a significant concern for anyone considering long-term residency in a mobile home park. Stability and competent management are critical for a positive living experience, and this historical context raises questions about the current state of affairs at Cimarron Park.
Serious Allegations Against Current Management: The most recent feedback paints a particularly negative picture of the current management, identified as "Impact." One resident goes so far as to label Cimarron Park as "ghetto" and the management company as "even worse." The review includes serious allegations of the management failing to address maintenance issues, despite the roads reportedly being in poor condition. Furthermore, the resident claims that while repairs are neglected, the management is "sure quick to up your rent and throw unexpected charges at you." These are significant accusations that prospective residents should take very seriously when evaluating Cimarron Park as one of the "mobile home parks near me." Unaddressed maintenance problems can negatively impact the living environment and potentially lead to safety concerns, while unexpected charges can create financial strain and erode trust between residents and management.
The same reviewer strongly advises potential residents to "save your time and money, move to a place that actually cares." This emphatic recommendation underscores the level of dissatisfaction and negative experience reported by at least one current resident. Such direct and forceful feedback should prompt careful consideration and further investigation by anyone interested in residing at Cimarron Park.
Allegations of Deceptive Practices: Adding to the serious concerns, the former resident's review includes an allegation of outright lying by the most recent management company. The review claims that the management informed tenants that their existing internet provider, Midco, was cutting off service to the trailer park and promised a "better" company would take over. However, when the resident contacted Midco directly, they reportedly found out that Midco had no plans to discontinue service. Furthermore, the new "promised" company allegedly refused to even return phone calls. This accusation of misleading tenants is deeply troubling, as it suggests a lack of transparency and potentially dishonest communication from the management. Trust and open communication are vital in a landlord-tenant relationship, and this allegation raises serious doubts about the integrity of the current management at Cimarron Park.
Environment, Services, and Features: Negative Inferences from Reviews: The negative reviews provide some indirect insights into the environment, services, and features of Cimarron Park, although not in a positive light. The mention of the roads looking the same despite rent increases suggests a lack of investment in infrastructure maintenance. The failure to fix things, as reported by one resident, implies potentially subpar maintenance services throughout the park. The term "ghetto" used to describe the park, while subjective and strong, suggests a potentially run-down or poorly maintained environment. The focus of the reviews on management issues overshadows any positive aspects of the park's physical environment or amenities. Prospective residents searching for "mobile home parks near me" will need to look beyond these negative accounts to ascertain the actual state of the park's facilities and grounds, if possible through direct observation or by seeking information from other sources.
Promotional Information: Not Available in Reviews: The provided customer reviews do not contain any promotional information about Cimarron Park. Given the strongly negative nature of the feedback, it is unlikely that residents would be sharing any positive marketing messages. Individuals interested in any potential promotional offers or current availability would need to contact the management directly, keeping in mind the reported issues with communication and transparency.
Objective Summary and Considerations: Based on the recent and available customer reviews, Cimarron Park in Rapid City, South Dakota, appears to be a mobile home park facing significant challenges related to its management and maintenance. Residents have reported issues such as neglected repairs, unexpected charges, poor communication, and even alleged deceptive practices. While a former resident recalled a time when the park was better managed, the current feedback is overwhelmingly negative and raises serious concerns about the living conditions and the integrity of the current management company, Impact. For local users searching for "mobile home parks near me," the information available strongly suggests exercising extreme caution and conducting thorough due diligence before considering Cimarron Park as a potential residence.

Cimarron Park Reviews
I used to think this place was pretty good especially when it was ran by Anita, it’s switched a few companies since and each one has been worse than the last. The most recent one even lied to its tenants, says Midco was cutting off our trailer park and promising a “better” company, when the new company refuses to even call back. We called midco and found out they weren’t even cutting us off. Worst place to live, over chargers, and complete liars.

Apr 21, 2025 · Daniel FarmerIf you move here make sure you get your property lines figured out right away so you don’t have a fence just put up in your parking lot. Then on top of that the pot holes can get very horrible at times, when I first moved in (2 years ago) they said they were going to pave. No they put asphalt milling down, which still get potholes. And rent just keeps being increased. This year it’s already been increased 2 times. If you’re going to increase rent why not fix the roads. And actually pave them.
Jun 15, 2023 · Jay Last NameI have seen great improvement since Impact has taken over. The new double wides will really improve the park also.
