Cipher Green RV Park Introduce
For those traveling through or seeking a quiet, extended stay in Eastern North Carolina, Cipher Green RV Park in Warsaw offers a promising option within the "RV Parks Near Me" category. Located at 113 John Williams Evans Rd, Warsaw, NC 28398, USA, this park has recently undergone a change in ownership, leading to significant improvements and a renewed focus on guest satisfaction. The park can be contacted at (910) 289-2200 or +1 910-289-2200.
Environment and Setting:
Cipher Green RV Park is described as a "very peaceful" and "quiet" location, set in a "nice and open" environment. This suggests ample space for RVs and a serene atmosphere, conducive to relaxation. The park features a "small lake on premises, stocked with fish," which adds to the tranquil ambiance and provides a recreational activity for guests. The property is well-kept, indicating attention to cleanliness and grounds maintenance. Being located "right off I-40 and NC-24 in Southeastern North Carolina," it offers convenient access for travelers while maintaining a sense of seclusion from direct highway noise. There are reportedly different sections within the park, with one area appearing to cater more to "permanent campers" and another designated for transient or shorter stays, sometimes referred to as a "hayfield with spots for 7/8 campers." The overall setting appears to be rural, with open fields and natural elements.
Services and Amenities:
Cipher Green RV Park offers essential services for RVers, including "Full RV site hookup (electric, water, sewer)." This means guests have direct access to power (30 amp and 50 amp options are typically available at such parks), fresh water, and sewer connections at their individual sites, providing a hassle-free camping experience. While the park website mentions "hiking & biking trails around the grounds" and "benches along trails for stopping to appreciate the scenery," it's important to note the absence of some amenities that might be expected at larger, more developed campgrounds. One significant issue highlighted by a reviewer is the lack of "laundry" facilities on site. This means guests on longer stays would need to make arrangements for off-site laundry.
The park is described as a "family-oriented recreation venue," and it accommodates "many regular guests who are working professionals." This suggests a diverse clientele, from vacationers to those needing a base while working in the area. While there was a "Chapel" on site, reviews indicate it is "out of service" and "closed off," so it is not currently an active amenity.
Features and Hospitality:
A prominent feature of Cipher Green RV Park is its recent acquisition by "another family" who are "working diligently to build new amenities and make this campground better than most!" This new ownership has brought a positive shift in the park's atmosphere and offerings. The new owners are consistently praised as "great people and very accommodating," and "such kind folks." Their hospitality is highlighted by personal touches, such as providing a "welcoming package" to new residents and even giving a "big bottle of bubbles just out of kindness" to a child. This level of personal care and attentiveness fosters a strong sense of welcome and community.
The park is particularly well-suited for long-term stays, with one family reporting a 14-month stay during work assignments. This indicates the park's capacity and willingness to accommodate extended periods, offering a stable base. For those who enjoy fishing, the on-site stocked pond is a definite draw. The open layout provides "plenty of room to walk" for guests and their pets, suggesting a pet-friendly environment, though specific pet policies would need to be confirmed.
Promotional Information and Practicalities:
Cipher Green RV Park welcomes guests year-round, offering full hook-up sites. Rates for RV sites can vary, with typical ranges potentially around $50 per night, though it's always best to contact the park directly for current pricing and availability, especially for weekly or monthly rates. The park's official website (ciphergreenrvpark.com) provides information on rates and policies, including daily, weekly, and monthly options for both 30-amp and 50-amp sites. It is noted that "Prices Subject to Change," so direct confirmation is always recommended.
One crucial practical detail mentioned in reviews is the "payment situation": "payments are check and cash only." This is a significant point for prospective guests, especially those accustomed to credit card payments or using company cards, as it requires preparation with appropriate payment methods. The owner's busy schedule might also mean that direct contact upon arrival isn't immediate, with one reviewer noting it "took 1 day before we left to meet him," though acknowledging he "was nice" when they did meet.
For those who value peace and quiet, a pleasant environment, and especially friendly and accommodating management, Cipher Green RV Park appears to be a highly recommended destination. Its convenient location near I-40 makes it an accessible stop for travelers, while its dedication to improvement under new ownership positions it as a promising and evolving choice within the "RV Parks Near Me" category in Eastern North Carolina. Whether for a short overnight stay or an extended period, the park offers a comfortable and welcoming base.

Cipher Green RV Park Reviews
While working, my little family and I stayed here for about 14 months. During our stay, the campground was purchased by another family. They have been working diligently to build new amenities and make this campground better than most! The fishing is great in the pond on site and it’s very peaceful! The new owners are great people and very accommodating! Upon taking over, they gave everyone a welcoming package and even gave our little girl a big bottle of bubbles just out of kindness. We will be staying here again in the future if work brings us back down! Thanks for hosting us and being such kind folks!
Mar 11, 2025 · Justin FailI would have given it 4, but I had 2 issues that WERE a big deal to me. Might not be for others, we're not the same.Seriously a great park, nice and open, Quiet too. The park itself was well-kept,My issue is there was no laundry. And the payment situation, he failed to mention and the website or text message that payments are check and cash only.If you're paying with a company card, be prepared. Not only that, but it took 1 day before we left to meet him. He was nice. The Chapel is out of service. Closed off.Again those were my biggest issues, but other than that, it's a fantastic stay at this park.
Mar 07, 2023 · Amber SaenzWe love it here. Very quiet for the most part, close to the interstate, very easily accessible. My son loves the pond and fishing. Updating my review as we are approaching having our camper here for a year. The campground is always nicely maintained, as it has grown it isn't as quiet as it used to be but still very peaceful and most everyone is friendly. There's many people with dogs and most do not currently follow the rules of keeping their dogs leashed which makes it hard for those of us who do. Cell service and internet can be slow at times. Overall compared to other campgrounds this one is by far the most peaceful. If you're looking for a quiet, easily accessible, affordable place to stay this is it.
